Manchester police said they are looking for a suspect in an overnight shooting that sent one man to the hospital.Officials say shots were fired at 138 Willow St. Sunday around 2:15 a.m. Police said when they arrived they found the remnants of what had been a large party at that address.Police found evidence of the shooting at the scene but did not find any injured people.As police investigated at the scene an officer working the security detail at Elliot Hospital reported that a gunshot victim had arrived at the emergency room. The man had a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his leg.Police learned that the victim was at the party on Willow Street. He explained that he had broken up a fight at the party before he was shot.Police said a man fired a handgun at the ground and a nearby wall multiple times. The victim said he didn't even know he had been shot until shortly afterward and a friend brought him to the hospital.Police are now looking for a black man, about 20 years old and approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a skinny build. He was last seen wearing a tank top.No arrests have been made. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Manchester Police Department or leave an anonymous tip through the Manchester Crimeline.
