    Job description

    Financial offer: 8 000 - 14 000 PLN gross per month (plus travel allowance up to 8900 PLN net)


    The successful candidate will:

    • Work as part of a multi-disciplined agile team to deliver user focussed and successful solutions;
    • Be responsible for production ready Front End code;
    • Be responsible for accessibility and cross browser / cross device compatibility;
    • Work with designers to define interaction patterns;
    • Work back-end developers to integrate front-end and back-end code, ensuring design integrity and performance;
    • Provide support and front end best practice advice to designers and developers;
    • Communicate credibly with a wide range of digital delivery disciplines and talent both internally and externally;
    • Comply with all confidentiality and non-disclosure policies and/or agreements and ensures security of information at all times;
    • Build and maintain front-end libraries and frameworks;
    • Assist in developing methodologies, standards and best practices;
    • Research and recommend appropriate interactive technologies;
    • Coach and mentor junior staff;
    • Travel 3-4 days a week to various UK locations.

    Required experience:

    • Experience in a relevant role either agency or client side;
    • Demonstrable experience of delivering as part of an agile team;
    • Experienced in web and mobile application UI development;
    • Experience in large commercial agile projects will be a benefit;


    The following are required skills:

    • Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SASS, JS patterns and JQuery;
    • Experience building responsive sites/applications;
    • Experience building and testing across browsers and devices;
    • Experience building to at least W3C AA standard for accessibility;
    • Knowledge using front end build systems (e.g. Grunt);
    • Knowledge managing front-end dependencies (e.g. Bower);
    • Knowledge working with version control systems (e.g. GIT);
    • Organising and building UI modules;
    • A solid understanding of UX principles;
    • A solid understanding of accessibility standards;
    • A solid understanding of information architecture, interaction design, visual design and prototyping;
    • Understanding of the technological and business implications of a task, and technical debt;
    • Has an open attitude to sharing information;
    • Capable of effective prioritisation of tasks and personal time management;
    • A good understanding of Agile delivery methodology;
    • Has mentored other developers;
    • Able to work unsupervised and prioritise their own time and activities.


    The following are desirable skills:

    • Active participant in communities of interest (e.g. online groups, speaking at conferences etc.);
    • Has contributed to open source projects;
    • Knowledge or experience in the following:
      • CSS architecture methodologies (e.g. SMACSS);
      • Web analytics implementation;
      • Front end performance budgeting and optimisation;
      • Logic-less javascript templating;
      • Front-end regression testing.
