2 Teens, 4 Kids Taken Out of Home Following Barricade Situation

A woman told police she saw a teen gunman run into a home on the 4300 block of Wyalusing Avenue.

Two teenagers and four children were taken out of a Philadelphia home following a barricade situation early Sunday evening.

Police say they received calls for a report of gunshots on the 4300 block of Wyalusing Avenue at 6:20 p.m. Sunday. When they arrived they were met by a woman who told them she saw a 14-year-old boy armed with a gun run into the home.

A barricade situation was then declared and homeland security was notified as part of standard operating procedure.

A short time later two teenagers and four children were taken out of the home. No one was injured during the incident.

Police have not yet revealed whether any of the teens or children who were taken out of the home are victims or suspects in the incident.
