For eight weeks, these students will engage in the research process and skill building workshops under the mentorship of Drs. Ahkinyala Cobb-Abdullah, Narbe Kalantarians and Vernon Ruffin. The program will culminate with the students final oral presentations on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 2:00 PM in Wall Auditorium. All are welcome to attend. The SURP program is supported by the following National Science Foundation grants: Virginia Union University Training Program in the Biological Sciences (Award Number: 1623357, Co-Principle Investigators Drs. Carleitta Paige-Anderson and Vernon Ruffin) and Subatomic Physics at VUU (Award Number: 1700333, Principle Investigator: Dr. Narbe Kalantarians). |

The University anticipates employee health insurance premium rates will increase on January 1, 2019. The exact amount has not been determined yet. Further details will follow when they are available.

Important Summer School Information |
|
|
ALL SUMMER SCHOOL STUDENTS will be housed in MacVicar Hall.
The dining hall opens on Monday, May 28, and food will be served in the Faculty and Staff Dining Room
Check-Out Date: All students must vacate the Residence Hall and move out by 3:00pm on Friday, June 29, 2018.
Students can check-in online by going to MyVUU!
