Our Ten-Week Spring Session is underway and you can see which classes that still have space here, alphabetized by city. If the red "Register" button is missing for a class, it means that it's full. If you want to register for a class, please contact me directly at 651-439-4219 or clarice@musictogetherclasses.org. Online registration through the websites of our partner organizations is now closed but I can help you get registered by phone.
Tuition for the first registered child in a family is $195 and $109 for each additional sibling eight months or older. Infants under eight months on the first day of the session (born after August 1, 2023) attend free with a registered sibling. All infants are welcome. If they are not siblings of a paying child, their tuition is $195, the same as that of the first registered child in a family. If you register late, we are happy to prorate the tuition for classes missed.
This spring, we'll be working with the terrifice "Triangle" song collection, one of my personal favorites, with all new music and activities.
Our Eight-Week Summer Session begins June 22-28. Registration begins here on our website on April 22 and you can see the summer schedule here. All of our Community Ed and Parks and Rec partners have already opened their summer registration.
BRAND NEW THIS SUMMER: Rhythm Kids® Day Camps for 5-8 year olds in Duluth, Woodbury and Shoreview. Duluth and Woodbury's camps are the week of June 17, Shoreview's is the week of August 26. Registration is through the respective Parks & Rec departments.
Why Join Us for Our Summer Session?
• Children have a natural aptitude for music that blossoms in a sufficiently rich music environment, the kind that Music Together provides in class and supports at home. Children can learn to sing and dance as naturally as they learn to walk and talk if parents/caregivers model music making—and participating in Music Together classes makes this easy.
• Young children learn through play and experimentation and by watching and listening to the grownups they love, but parents don’t need to have music skills; they just need to be willing to play and have fun with their children!
• Our research-based curriculum not only develops music skills, it nurtures creativity, self expression and confidence while also supporting social, emotional, cognitive, language and physical development.
• Our mixed-age classes enable siblings to participate together, creating an ideal learning environment where infants, toddlers and preschoolers can freely participate at their own levels.
• Music Together song collections have outstanding arrangements that are fun, sophisticated andloved by children and grownups alike. The music includes a delightful mix of both original songsand traditional tunes from the folk, jazz and world music genres in a wide variety of tonalities and meters, providing a rich buffet of ‘ear food'.
Curious about our classes? Register for a free demo class to see what all the excitement is about! You can try an 'In-Session' demo which means you'll be joining one of our on-going spring session classes, or you can try one of our 'Preview' classes which happened between sessions. I recommend an 'In- Session' demo, if possible, because then you get to experience the real thing, a group of famlies who have been in class together for several weeks.
