Manada Conservancy Celebrates 50th Anniversary Of Earth Day With Special Programs In Dauphin County

The Manada Conservancy will hold a series of special events during April to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day on April 22.  The events include--
-- April 22: Special viewing of the documentary film Intelligent Trees at Midtown Cinema, Harrisburg.  Click Here for tickets.
-- April 23: Creating Wildlife Gardens, Grace UM Church, Hummelstown with guest speaker Ian Steward from the Delaware Nature Society.  RSVP to: office@manada.org
-- April 24: Multi-Site Tree Planting with Londonderry Township, Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences, Dauphin County Conservation District, Troegs Independent Brewing. Volunteers should contact: jdunlap@manada.org.  
-- April 25: Wildwood Park Wetlands Festival, Olewine Nature Center, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Free red twig dogwood sapling while supplies last.
-- April 26: Wildflower Walk along Manada Creek on Horse-Shoe Trail, 1:00 p.m.  RSVP to: office@manada.org.
