From a secret duo of USA Today Bestselling authors comes another sexy second chance romantic comedy STANDALONE.

People like to see the womanizing jerk fall…the one who takes the number, but never calls? The guy who beds and never weds? Everyone wants to see that guy fall in love, right?

Pfft. Sounds like a script straight out of one of the box office movies my clients make.

Get your head out of the clouds because in real life the arrogant player doesn’t fall head over heels for the feisty brunette.

Unless the feisty brunette met him years before he’d perfected his cool demeanor. Unless she carved a spot out of his heart that never fully healed.

Our first meeting kick started my heart. Fourteen years later, our reunion was less heart and more kick. Turns out Quinn is just as hot and bothered to see me as I am her and I have the head injury to prove it.

DNF @50% I can't believe I am calling it a day halfway through a book by these authors. I've pretty much enjoyed every book by them so far, but this one just isn't working for me...Jagger is god awful and utterly unredeemable in my eyes. From the opening scene to the nasty, cruel and demeaning way he broke up with her in the past to the constant mentions (and pop up visits from OW) of his manwhore ways. Am I am being picky...you betcha, but I am not going to force myself to continue reading something I am just not enjoying AT ALL. I'll be honest this book felt like it was written by two completely different authors!

I have thoroughly enjoyed the books in this series and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Jagger’s book. He hinted in Doggie Style about possibly losing a love by muttering if you love her then don’t let her get away. I was so curious about what his story was, especially since he is pretty much a one and done kind of guy.

This book did not disappoint! Jagger fell hard when his first love, Quinn, came back into his life by pure chance. Over the last fourteen years they both wondered what it would be like to see one another again. Quinn wasn’t quite as forgiving as Jagger had hoped. There was a lot of baggage they had to go through throughout the story. I didn’t feel as much comedy in this one as in the two previous books, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t as good. Just a little more serious.

This was a great way to wrap this series. One of the next series characters was in this story and I am so excited for his story; my interest is seriously piqued! One thing about this duo that I love is that all the series are loosely related, and it just makes for such a fun familiar feeling when the previous characters reappear.

Want a funny, sexy second chance romance, then give this book a read!

Jagger Kale is my favorite in the Dirty Truth series
I'll admit when I read his character in
The Manny and Doggie Style I thought he was a womanizing man whore who only cared about getting laid and never having a real relationship. Even though we get the idea that he may have loved someone in the past in Doggie Style you don't know for sure.
I loved that he got his second chance at love. Love that he is able to admit when he is wrong.
Quinn is the perfect heroine for Jagger. They're a great match for sure.
I definitely recommend this one is read.

Oh, this is a hard one to review.  I really haven't liked Jagger through this series, and he didn't totally win me over in here.  He was consistently more jerky than not.  However, I did love Quinn.  And I love that the authors always throw in previous characters, even if it's just a small appearance :)

***ARC Provided by the Author***

Jagger and Quinn have a history, one that makes her less than happy to see him in her home, after a rather convoluted beginning of the story that ends up with Jagger showing up in the place of the cleaning service Quinn hired.

I think, for me, the set up of the story made this a little harder for me to engage with. While I understand the backstory, it seemed off to me. I understand supporting your loved ones, and helping them out, but I am not sure I believed the sequence of events.

Quinn is sick, her defenses are down, and they have a reasonably friendly initial conversation. Sort of. Well, it is friendly in comparison to their last meeting, the one where she caught him cheating on her. And, it leaves Jagger determined he wants her back...and Quinn determined to avoid him and not let him hurt her again.

I am not sure I ever liked Jagger. There were moments I liked him, and moments where I thought he was a jerk. I think that was the point, and usually that works for me...but there was just something about him that I was never totally enamored with.

Quinn, on the other hand, I liked. A lot. She had heart and, I think, by the end I believed that she was actually happy to be with Jagger, and that let the book work well enough for me to be able to recommend it overall.

I really enjoyed the first two books of this series. I was looking forward to Jagger’s story. What I liked about this book was Quinn. She was sweet, funny and smart. What I didn’t like was Jagger. This is a second chance story, and what you need for this to be successful is for the characters to have matured to a point hat they now make sense. Jagger breaks up with Quinn when they are 16 in a very public, cruel and humiliating way. Fourteen years later they meet again. Jagger decides he still cares about her and wants another chance. While Quinn initially pushes back, she eventually acquiesces. Everything is going great and they are falling in love again when Jagger learns that Quinn, under a pseudonym, wrote a book about their teenage love affair. Jagger becomes angry at her because he comes off poorly. The guy cruelly and publicly dumps her, doesn’t call her for 14 years, barely apologizes and then gets angry with her for telling the truth in a fictional account of their life. He eventually comes around, but I was hoping she’d tell him to take a hike, she deserved better.

The last book in this series was definitely the best—but there's a chance I would praise anything after those two fiascos.
I enjoyed Jagger and Quinn's story but the break-ups just before the happy-ends are getting seriously old. *sighs*

Chore Play, the third and final book in the Dirty Truth series, is a sweet and steamy second chance romance. If you’re like me and read the previous 2 books in this series, you’ve been anxiously awaiting Jagger’s story, to see just who it would be to turn this player into a one woman man. The fact that she was his first love, the one he let get away- or rather pushed away, was the icing on the cake!

Jagger, Jagger, Jagger. It’s always so fun to see a cocky, cocksure, manwhore humbled by that one, perfect-for-him, woman. In Jagger’s case, he met that woman when they were both teen-agers, but boy did he royally screw that up! Lucky for him, he’s got a second chance to prove to Quinn he’s not that same stupid boy. But he sure has his work cut out for him, as she’s had 14 years to harden her heart against him.

I really enjoyed the set-up for how these two met up again so many years later. It was a unique and fun take on the “meet-cute”. What led up to that reunion gave us a peek at a different side of Jagger, it showed his heart and made him more relatable- or should I say likable?!? I know his type of character- the player, the manwhore, the one who has a different woman every night- isn’t for everyone. And Jagger does come off a little arrogant and a bit of a jerk at times, but I really think he’s a very caring guy underneath it all and Piper Rayne showed this side of him when it came to his relationship with his old nanny.

I do love a good second chance romance, especially when it involves childhood friends. Jagger and Quinn could have been one of those fairytale romances, until he had to go and screw things up by doing what he thought was right, but was just so wrong. Now he’s got a chance to show Quinn he’s not that same stupid kid and he needs to bring his A-Game because Quinn’s not that same young girl whose heart he broke. I like that she’s a strong, independent woman who gave as good as she got. She was willing to open herself up, but still kept her heart guarded, and you can’t blame her for that!

Entertaining banter, engaging characters, some laughs, and some feels, Chore Play was a terrific way to wrap up the Dirty Truth series. I loved the way PR ties their series together, without the reader really needing or having to read any previous books. I’m looking forward to this next series, based on the Winter Olympics!

I have been eagerly anticipating Jagger's book for months. Ever since the beginning of this series I knew Jagger's book was going to be amazing. He was just too suave, too in control, and too high and mighty not to fall hard. And while we got hints and teases that maybe there was a past love that made him the way he is, I just wasn't prepared for this book.

Chore Play is the kind of book you think might take you a couple days to finish when you've got work and kids and wifely duties to take care of, but that you end up giving up sleep and throwing together the easiest, fastest meal possible for dinner just so you don't have to be away from it too long. The kind of book you finish in hours, not days because you just can't stop reading. Even the way Jagger and his leading lady are brought together for this story felt new and unexpected but so very perfect. Here's Jagger doing things I would never have imagined him doing, for reasons I never would have imagined him doing them for, and bam.. there she is. Plus, don't even get me started on how much I loved her. From her job, to her heart and willlingness to give to those in need, to the way she didn't take Jagger's crap. She was just perfect for him.

I, of course, also love that I get to keep revisiting with or get mention of previous Piper Rayne characters in all of these books. I hope it's something they keep up because it certainly puts a smile on my face everytime I read one of those mentions or cameos.

Overall I don't think I can say enough good things about the ending of this series. It was fantastic and a prime example of an awesome romantic comedy. I look forward to meeting Jagger's cousin in the new series and hope I will get to visit with Jagger and all his friends again in future.

Jagger loves to shower his girl with compliments, “still a great ***.” He smacks it lightly." The man also loves to drive his woman bonkers, “remind me to get you some Mace or some ****. Beating me with a d***o isn’t going to keep a robber away.” Then he walks out of the room." Jagger needs to work on the delivery of his speech, “you’re still mad?” I ask and sit in the chair opposite the couch. “Can we argue after we eff? Because with your feistiness and watching you drive my car, I’m about a minute away from combustion.” I liked this book, I loved Jagger.

I gave this book 4 stars!!!

I have really enjoyed Piper Rayne's books in the past, but this one felt a little different from the others, don't know if they felt like they had to rush to get it to all us fans because or if it was because the holiday season but it just felt different to me. Even with this being said , I still thoroughly enjoyed Jagger and Quinn's story. No, I don't like how Jagger did Quinn but I knew from reading past story's that Jagger was going to be a A$$ in his story. He totally is. I absolutely love Quinn and what she does for a living. From the beginning you kind of figure out the plot but how Piper twist and turns makes it worth the read. Then enters Jagger cousin that were going to meet in the next series and I am hoping that we also get to see Jagger assistant find her HEA too.

Jagger has his life the way he wants it, he is dang good at his job, has enough money to do what he wants, has a different woman in his bed each night, has a woman that was a mom to him more than his own mother and would do anything for her. When his Nanny/second mom needs him, he doesn't question it, he drops everything to help her. What he didn't expect was to come face to face with the one woman he left and loved 14 years ago.

Quinn has just moved back to LA to be closer to her dad. She stays held up in her office trying to write her 2nd book but having no suck luck. She is also avoiding the one person that she has been in love with. When she is in bed sick, she forgets to cancel the cleaning service she has hired. When they showed up she never expected to see her ex that she has tried to avoid.

What happens when that love hasn't died? What happens when the past cant stay in the past? Can these two figure how to be in the present together?

Over all this was a good book and I look forward reading the next series this duo puts out!!!

I absolutely LOVE the Dirty Truth series, and each new book in it has been different in the telling, while being completely awesome! Jagger is the biggest man whoring douche on the planet, and I do mean douche, as he always does a fantastic job making his current hook up mad as she's leaving, in order to make sure that she doesn't come back. See, he was in love in the past, and when things didn't work out, he vowed he would let no woman close to him again. However, fate has a funny way of derailing plans, and Jagger comes face to face with Quinn, the woman he never stopped loving. But Quinn isn't happy to see the man who completely broke her heart, and she's determined to make sure that she avoids him, because she doesn't want to get hurt again since she never stopped loving him, while Jagger is equally determined to win her back. Who will win this battle of wills? I really fell in love with Quinn from the beginning, so of course, already knowing Jagger with his man whoring ways, I was firmly on her side. Then I learned what he did to her, so I wanted to junk punch him more than a few times, and it took a long time in the story before that urge left me, because his douchey ego never really abated. He kept up the whole cavalier attitude about his life when her insecurities rose, which grated on my nerves, especially since the breakup was all of his fault, so yeah, he deserved many junk punches in my opinion. However, the previous couples, with a couple of new faces, made up the colorful cast of secondaries which added some perfectly placed humor to keep me laughing, and more depth. Piper Rayne is a highly talented duo who mesh perfectly together, whose stories I'm highly addicted to. Add in the extreme angst factor, drama, a few f-bomb worthy twists, and it's another fantastic story! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

This is the third book in the Dirty Truth series and one I was eager to read to find out what had gone on in Jagger’s past. For all his outwardly charm and swagger I just knew he was hiding some deep regret from his past.

Quinn is shocked when her one true love who she walked away from a decade back, comes marching right back through her door again. Jagger is at her house to do her cleaning after his surrogate mother who owns the business is taken ill. Having a rich and wannabe GQ model doing her chores throws Quinn in a spin, not only because it is Jagger but the man who cheated on her and broke her heart.

This series has been about the trio of friends who take on less than alpha roles and tasks that aim to show their alphaness cannot be hidden, but this was a little less believable for what Jagger does really as a hot shot agent in LA. However it was a fun and flighty read with hints of some seriousness especially about the subject of organ donation.

Jagger’s story left me with some questions mainly in regards why he left it so long to explain his actions of the past and why he never sought Quinn out. Overall though they were both likable characters, Quinn more so than Jagger but Jagger did kind of redeem himself from his previous flaky past. For me this was the weakest story of the series but I still enjoyed it and a three and a half stars read. A little bit more depth and drama would have pushed it to a four.

**I voluntarily read an early copy of this title**

Chore Play is the third book in the Dirty Truth series by Piper Rayne. While this book can be read as a standalone, it is more enjoyable after having read the first two books in the series.

Jagger Kale is one of those guys that is happily single - or so he thinks. He is a celebrity agent and he makes it his focus to spend time with as many beautiful women as possible, however it is one from his past that has left the more indelible mark, the one whose heart he broke years before.

Quinn Ryan is a strong woman - that is the first thing you notice and it is reinforced throughout the entire book. She's independent and when she comes face to face with Jagger, she isn't about to take any crap from him either, regardless of how hard he tries to get into her good graces.

While the sparks fly between the two, will they be able to put the past behind them and move forward?

This book is sexy, funny, and sweet. Jagger has always been the most interesting of the three guys to me because I had a feeling that once he fell, it would be hard and I wasn't wrong. Quinn is the perfect balance to him and she isn't afraid to put him in his place. Piper Rayne definitely saved the best for last in this series! I can't wait to get my hands on their next new release!

When I first meet Jagger in The Manny he was the playboy who had a new girl in his bed every night and I have to admit that I was slightly apprehensive on whether or not the dynamic duo were going to be able to redeem him in my eyes, but I should learn to never doubt these two!

Chore Play, the third installment installment in the Dirty Truth series was hands down one of my favorite books to read and the perfect one to start this new year off with! If you are a fan of second chance romances then you certainly need to check out this book because our leading lady Quinn will show you that first impressions aren't always the end and that love can truly conquer all. Gosh there is so much that I want to reveal about this story, but I think that this is the kind of story that needs to be experienced firsthand and trust me the shock factor will surprise you every step of the way!

Make sure to pick up your copy of Chore Play today and fall in love with Quinn and Jaggers love story!

Jagger meets his perfect match!

How do you even begin to imagine that someone can challenge and snag the arrogant, forever bachelor Jagger Kale? Well, Piper Rayne beautifully bring in Quinn Ryan, a blast from his past who just happens to be the love of his life. Man, from the get go it was awesome to see Jagger be challenged by Quinn. She didn’t take any of his crap and wanted nothing to do with him because of their past. And yet, Jagger persisted and fought because deep down he knew that Quinn was worth it, unlike any other woman he had ever been with. The witty banter between Jagger and Quinn is refreshing and along the lines of what to expect from Piper Rayne. The bedroom scenes are spicy, hot and leave you Hot and bothered in a good way! I loved this story! Every time I read one of their books I am cracking up out loud getting crazy looks from the people around me! I always tell them you too can be laughing and enjoying this book as much as I did! I loved it and I can’t wait for more! As always, it was a beautiful surprise to get some of the Modern Love Series characters making cameos! Jagger melted my heart, his story was epically romantic and yet so Jagger at the same time! This book will not disappoint, read it!!!!

Chore Play is equal parts sexy, sweet, and funny! Jagger and Quinn's story will make you hot, make you swoon, and make you laugh. Jagger is a love them and leave them type of man. He cares not what others think about him. He wants sex and sex only, no commitments. That all changes when a blast from his past shows up. Quinn is such a strong woman. She's very independent and takes no crap from anyone, especially Jagger. After some ups and downs she realizes that maybe her and Jagger can make a go at it again. This time as adults and not teens in love.

The banter between Jagger and Quinn was hot. The chemistry they give off leaves you swooning. The sexual tension leaves you reeling. Piper Rayne makes Jagger easily hateable, and easily lovable. No one likes being vulnerable, especially Jagger. All in all I enjoyed this story and I'm excited to read the books the came before this one!

This book was an amazing read and had me gripped from the beginning. The will she, won't she aspect was brilliant and I just loved that Jagger found what he let go and broke so long ago and had been searching for the whole time. During previous books you just thought that Jagger was a cocky arsehole that didn't really care for women apart from sleeping with them and throwing them away

When Quinn entered the frame again you see Jagger in a completely different light and I fell in love with him, what with his relationship with Marisol he showed whom be really was.  This book was funny, sexy and hot as hell but it was full of sadness and what ifs. Making for a really good story.

I really recommend this great book and the series infact. Especially if you want a laugh out loud book, that gives you all the feels.

This is the 3rd book in this amazing series, and I have been waiting for Jagger’s story, and what a story it is! Jagger has a revolving door of women, and tends to act like a jerk, and very arrogant, when his answer to everything is to throw money at the problem. Quinn had her heart broken by Jagger 14 years previously, and now that he unexpectedly bounces back into her life, is determined that he will not get a chance to shatter it even more. Jagger is just as determined to convince Quinn to give them a second chance. This story is filled with humour, heartbreak, and is an entertaining and sweet read. It was great to catch up with the characters from the previous books as well. This is a beautifully written storyline, which had me captivated throughout, and I highly recommend these authors’ work for all readers.

Received ARC at no cost to author...I love Piper Rayne, I don't think they can do wrong. We are at the third of the Dirty Truth series, and we finally got Jaggar's story. Jaggar as we know his a manwhore, who doesn't really believe in relationships. He had broken up with Quinn had broken years ago in the most horrible way, betrayal. Quinn hates Jaggar but has never really forgotten him. Jaggar and Quinn get reacquainted by accident and Jaggar is not going to let Quinn get away from him again, he always wondered if he might have made a mistake. Did he? You need to read my friends, you wont regret it. We get to hear about our previous characters, Vance and Leo and their significant others..Enjoy!

I have absolutely loved the previous two books especially Doggie Style and this one made me want to strangle the man ,

Jagger is a total jerk and makes you want to strangle him with his total better than you ways, and when he sees the one he let go and wants back he still can not seem to make himself stop being an ass,

Quinn is a very strong woman who will not be played again so when Jagger who broke her heart wants back in she will not let it happen so easily and makes sure to put Jagger in his place

I love that the women in this series are strong women but also show their soft sides

Please read this series you will love these couples too

Oh my gawd!!!!! Jagger was such an ass in the previous two books and I couldn't wait to see who would put him in his place. Let me just say that I loved Quinn she's a strong, beautiful, one helluva woman who definitely gave Jagger a run for his money in more ways than one. This is a read you won't be able to put down because it will seduce you, charm you, lure you in and sweep you off your feet! Be prepared to be swooned with the man you thought was the biggest manwhore ever!

Chore Play by Piper Rayne is the third book in the Dirty Truth series. This fast-paced romance story features a strong, independent woman who's heart was broken by one cocky player who doesn't care what people think. This great read is filled with hot banter, off-the-charts chemistry, second chances, forgiveness, and a HEA.

I put off reading this one because I was a bit disappointed in Leo's story. However, I wish I had read this one sooner. Jagger's story was so enjoyable. Watching him unexpectedly run across the woman who has always held his heart and then determine to win her back was so fun and touching. Well edited.

Throughout the last couple of books there have been hints of the woman still holding Jagger's heart. In this one, we finally find out who she is and what happened. Turns out, Jagger broke his own heart - as well as Quinn's - in a misguided attempt to set her free. They were friends from the time they were young teens, seeing each other every summer when Quinn came to stay next door with her father. Eventually, summer friendship turned to summer love. Quinn was prepared to move in with her father permanently to be near Jagger, but he was getting ready to go off to college. What's a guy to do to dissuade his girl from upending her life for him? Why, break her heart of course. Fourteen years later, Quinn has quietly moved back to LA to be near her father. She has hired a cleaning service, but forgot to cancel when she got a cold. Jagger's longtime nanny and pseudo-mother figure gets sick herself and enlists Jagger to take over the cleaning duties for her new client. Guess who that is? Jagger is stunned to find the new client is his old love. Beginning that day, he sets out to get her to forgive him for the past and let him into her present and future. Will Jagger succeed? Will Quinn forgive? What happens when Jagger finds she has a secret of her own? Will Jagger forgive her?

As always, there are great funny moments. It is wonderful to read about Jagger, and how underneath his tough 'I-get-everything-I-want-because-I-am-Jagger' exterior lies a really thoughtful, sweet, caring man. Enjoy!

This is book three in the Hollywood Hearts series, while they can be read as standalones, I highly recommend reading them in order as characters for the previous two books are in this one as well. I was really looking forward to this book because I was so curious to find out Jagger's backstory and find out why he is the way he is (a cocky, arrogant man who one spends a night with women and then moves on). I just knew there had to be something in his past that made him this wall of steel that doesn't let anything into his heart. I was not disappointed. I loved getting to see the real Jagger in this book and learn about his past with Quinn. The first day they come face to face after years apart is hilarious. I still can't stop thinking about it. It was so memorable and one of those laugh out loud moments. I also really loved seeing the vulnerable side to Jagger. In the previous books he always made fun of his friends for falling in love and we always saw this side of him where he wasn't serious about relationships or love and that completely changed when Quinn reentered his life. I really enjoyed getting to learn more about their backstory and why Jagger hasn't been able to open himself up to love since Quinn. It was a wild ride to their HEA, but I enjoyed every moment of it.

Piper Rayne did good! They made us wait FOREVER (it seemed) on Jagger's story, but it was entirely worth it. From the very beginning scene to the end, we got a story that entertained and captivated us, even making us smile - even though we're a tad sad that this series is over.

In the previous books, we were tempted to see Jagger as the cocky jerk with extremely rare moments of humanity. In "Chore Play", we see a different side of Jagger that is totally swoon-worthy. Yes, he's still cocky, but watching as his heart beats for someone other than himself? Totally film-worthy. Quinn's character brought a great flavour to the story. Their push-and-pull was electric, and made their second chance at love a helluva show.

Everything is right in the world because Jagger has his girl. I definitely cannot wait to see what Piper Rayne has for us next!

I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book.

Nothing really stuck out to me in particular. I feel like the playboy trope can be difficult to do since it's very repetitive but I didn't like Jagger. He was arrogant, unapologetic, and honestly seemed like a jerk. He didn't seem to feel bad at all regarding what happened years ago and I'm not sure I ever felt like he regretted anything he did. He never really redeemed himself and there was a lot left unexplained. Jagger and Quinn's relationship seemed purely physical and I wasn't convinced that they loved each other/had genuine feelings for each other. Overall, I just couldn't get past Jagger and he seemed too controlling and insincere. This book took me a lot longer than I would have liked because of how dull this was, especially compared to the other Piper Rayne books (which I absolutely love).

I never would have thought I would not finish a Piper Rayne book. I love their books, but this one was awful. I hated Jagger, he was a cheating manwhore and nothing will redeem him from the things he did. He still sleeps with every skirt that passes but as soon as the heroine is back in the picture he asks her for a second chance? Then all must have been forgotten? Hell no. I can’t believe she can lock lips with this guy again after how he treated her and with half the female population he slept with. And he’s not even denying it, even throwing OW in her face just 5 minutes earlier. He is just gross and not hero worthy. I expected more from this author duo, it’s almost as if this book was written by someone else.

So happy to finally see what makes him tick..tock...Really Good Read

Jaggar and Quinn's book was every bit what I imagined and more than I had hoped or. The writing team of Piper Rayne never ceases to amaze me with their ability to write a book so smoothly as if they were one person writing. We get a well told story, while at the same time we get to catch up with some of our favorite characters from other books. We make new friends and learn more about some characters mentioned in passing in other books. Having read all of the books written by this duo, I can't wait for the next series ( set in the Winter Games in Korea) to hit my kindle.
