STONY BROOK, N.Y. – The University of Delaware volleyball team fell to Colgate, 3-0 (25-17, 25-14, 25-17), on Saturday afternoon inside the Pritchard Gymnasium on the campus of Stony Brook University. With the loss, the Blue hens dropped to 6-5 overall while the Raiders improved to 4-6.
 
Junior Andie Hanus led the team with 16 digs and the Blue Hens posted 35 as a team. Junior Cailey Bracken and junior Maria Bellinger recorded five while freshman Grace Underwood had three. Eight Blue Hens recorded at least one dig.
 
Three Blue Hens – Bracken, senior Brooke Robertson and Bellinger – paced the team with six kills each. sophomore Julia Hayes and junior Bailey Pearlman had three kills while senior Abby Skryd and Underwood had one termination. Pearlman had three hammers on eight swings for a .250 hitting percentage.
 
Skryd directed the offense with 20 assists while Hanus recorded three. Bracken had the other assist for the Blue Hens.
 
Hayes added two blocks, including one solo to her three kills. Bracken assisted on one block.
