LAURA Anderson has hit back at claims that her relationship with Paul Knops was fake.
She took to her Instagram to dismiss speculation that the Love Island stars were in a showmance.
Lashing out at the suggestion that their romance wasn't real, Laura posted a revealing story to her 1.5 million followers.
She wrote: "Love Island relationships are REAL as far as I'm concerned.
"Be a little bit more KIND people."
She followed the quote up with a peace sign and a hand-drawn heart.
Clearly fed up with mounting comments on her relationship with the model-carpenter, the blonde beauty later posted another quote to her account.
It said: "May you attract someone who speaks your language so you don't have to spend a lifetime translating your soul."
Laura captioned the saying: "You get it or you don’t. Life is easier when you surround yourself with people on this same frequency
"Everyone else is a test or a lesson. Sunday=quote day."
It's not clear whether she was explicitly referring to Paul in her quote but fans were quick to ask questions about their relationship.
Taking to the comments section, one fan asked: "What happened to you and Paul?"
Another user - who seemingly hadn't heard the news - queried: "Have they finished ? Loved them together."
Others commented that she deserves "someone who treats you like the beautiful person u are" and that their break-up is Paul's loss.
Laura opened up to OK! magazine about parting ways with Paul after they failed to rekindle their spark following his three-week trip to the States.
She attributed the split to his failure to get in touch with her on his holiday.
She said: "When we came out of the villa there was a lot of work-related things we did together and then Paul went away for three weeks.
"He went to the Burning Man festival in America and he couldn’t get phone signal for a week. I was absolutely fine with that.
"I trusted him not to do things with other girls, which he didn’t."
While she had hoped the pair would pick things back up upon his return, she revealed the male model, 31, failed to make an effort to see her, drawing their romance to a close.
She added: "I was hoping that when he came back we’d spend more time together and build a proper relationship out of the villa. It didn’t happen."
The Scottish Sun Online revealed the pair had split last week, with the Scots star unfollowing Paul on social media only days later.
Explaining her decision to cut him out completely, Laura said: "I don’t really want to see what he’s up to now because I’m not involved in that.
"You have a little look now and again and it torments you!"
Their split comes after the couple were pictured having a furious row after a night out in London last month, which they both insisted was nothing more than a "bicker".
However, unlucky-in-love Laura has not been letting the split get her down, as she's been spotted on numerous nights out with her Love Island co-stars ever since.
