CHARLESTON, S.C. – The college basketball season is just around the corner and the Cougars will kick it off with their annual Charleston Basketball Block Party on Sunday, Nov. 5 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on George Street (between Glebe and Saint Philip Streets).
 
The event is free and open to the public. Both the College of Charleston men's and women's basketball teams will be introduced with DJ Natty Heavy spinning his tunes under the live oaks of the Cistern Yard.
 
Don't miss your chance to participate in games and giveaways as well as autograph opportunities with this year's squads and head coaches Earl Grant and Candice M. Jackson. Photo booths will be set-up for fans of all ages, while kids can enjoy the CofC Bounce House, Jason's Jump Castles, ping pong and Jenga tables.
 
The Kickin' Chicken Food Truck will provide free food to students, while posters and schedule cards will be available at the CofC Marketing & Promotions table.
 
College of Charleston Men's and Women's Basketball Season Tickets are still on sale. For men's basketball, mini plans are now available for purchase and priced at $60 for Pick 4 Mini Plan and $45 for Pick 3 Mini Plan.
