A relatively nondescript, but very useful modern-looking wine bar on 7th Avenue. In addition to wine and cocktails, they do easy little Italian small plates and paninis. We’ve been on both job interviews and dates here.
Drink a martini under a big chandelier, or dance at a spot hidden in a subway station.
Trailer Park in Chelsea is a trailer park-themed bar, which is actually a lot better than it sounds.
Miansai is a Soho store with leather and jewelry. We don’t really care about those things, but they make tea and also have a great back patio.
