NORFOLK, Va. – Riding a four-game winning streak, the NC State women's basketball team (4-0) takes to the road for the first time of the season on Monday evening at Old Dominion. Tip-off between the Wolfpack and Monarchs is scheduled for 7 p.m. from the Ted Constant Convocation Center with live video coverage provided by WatchESPN.

Senior Chelsea Nelson and redshirt junior Kiara Leslie each put up double-double performances to lead NC State to a 71-50 victory over South Alabama on Friday night inside Reynolds Coliseum. With the win, the Wolfpack is off to its seventh consecutive 4-0 start to a season.
 
Sophomore Aislinn Konig joined Nelson (10) and Leslie (10) in double figures. She was NC State's leading scorer on the night, tallying 13 points on the way to her second double-digit scor­ing performance in a row. The Wolfpack guard shot 3-7 (.429) from behind the three-point line in addition to dishing out a team-high four assists.
 
The Wolfpack outrebounded the Jaguars 63-36. The team was especially active on the offensive boards, snagging 29 compared to the Jaguars' 14. Leslie led all players with 12 total rebounds, an impressive seven of those being offensive, and Nelson added 10 of her own.
 
POINTS IN THE PAINT
NC State's offense this season has been very successful close to the basket. The Wolfpack has outscored its opponents in the paint by a 136-64 margin.
