A little bit about CII & their commitment to the Latino Community:

Children’s Institute, Inc. (CII) helps children in Los Angeles’s most challenged communities heal from the trauma of family and community violence, build the confidence and skills to break through the barriers of poverty, and grow up to lead healthy, productive lives. CII’s Integrated Service Model is designed to address the “whole child” as well as the entire family, and combines evidence-based clinical services, youth development programs, early childhood programs, and family support services. CII reaches more than 28,000 children and family members each year. We also work to inform the larger field of children’s services through the research and professional development efforts of our Leadership Center.

CII serves at-risk children, youth and families throughout Los Angeles County. We have three comprehensive campuses – the new Otis Booth Campus just west of downtown Los Angeles; the Mid-Wilshire Campus in Koreatown; and the Burton E. Green Campus in Torrance. We also have centers in Watts and Long Beach as well as 32 early childhood centers and more than 60 family child care homes throughout the County.

73% of the population that utilizes CII’s services and programming is Latino; therefore we are excited to support this organization and all their wonderful work for our community!
