Two more charged over prisoner’s alleged murder at Hakea Prison

Eight prisoners have now been charged with murdering a fellow inmate in Western Australia.

Guards found Alf Deon Eades, 46, injured in his cell at Hakea Prison on February 26.

He was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital suffering from a broken neck, severe brain swelling and facial fractures and lacerations.

Mr Eades was placed in an induced coma, but died in hospital on March 11.

Police previously charged six men, aged in their 20s, and said on Tuesday they had charged two more men, aged 27 and 50.
