Glasgow man jailed after cops find £700,000 of cocaine on back seat of his Mercedes
A GLASGOW man is behind bars after police seized almost £700,000 of high purity cocaine.
Craig Watson, 28, was snared in February this year after officers tailed a Mercedes car to his home in the city's Milton.
A judge heard how a block of white powder was clocked on the back seat.
Prosecutor Liam Ewing QC told the High Court in Glasgow said it was found to be cocaine with a purity as high as 79%.

Further packages of the drug were then discovered inside Watson's home.
A red, metal hydraulic press was also seized by police.
Mr Ewing: "Such equipment is utilised in the adulteration of controlled drugs."
A total of 6.6kg of cocaine was found with a potential value of £662,050.
Watson pled guilty to being concerned in the supply of the drug.

His lawyer John McElroy said: "He is on bail at the minute, but I simply invite you to remand him for this matter."
