Glasgow woman Ella Marie Cairns goes missing from Airdrie as police launch desperate hunt

A 37-YEAR-old woman vanished from Airdrie three days ago as cops launch a frantic probe to trace her.

Ella Marie Cairns, also known as McGready, disappeared from Ballochney Street around 10pm on Thursday.

She has not been in touch with friends and family since then amid growing concerns for her welfare.

And cops have made a desperate public appeal as they try to find her.

Ella, from the Barrowfield area of Glasgow, is described as 5ft 6in, with short blonde hair.

Police say she may be wearing blue jeans, an orange scarf, with a black crop top, black hoodie, and beige/faun-coloured coat.

They say she may be carrying a bag as well.

Anyone who can help cops should contact them via 101, quoting incident number 1533 of November 16.

Tya Miller, 14, disappeared from Newton at 3.30pm yesterday and has not been seen since.

Police in Broxburn have made an appeal to the public as they desperately try to trace the teen.
