F*ck Mistletoe.
Screw Jingle Bells.
Ho-ho-ho can kiss my a$$.
Who in the hell drinks mulled wine anyway?
Instead, reach for a damn shot of Hennessy to keep you warm this holiday season.

Finding himself at The Last Riders’ clubhouse was the last place Hennessy planned to be during the holidays. He hated snow, hated wrapping gifts, and he preferred his Harley over a sleigh. He and the Grinch were more than best friends; they were brothers. And he had planned to ride out the holiday fa-la-la-ing his a$$ to Florida …

… Until a curvy cutie had him sinking to the depths of playing a naughty game of Dirty Santa that he’d had no intention of playing.

The rules were simple:
Guess who’s sending you the naughty but nice notes or you get a lump of coal in your stocking. If you got three lumps, then you were shit out of luck, because there would be no sex until after Christmas.

The 12 days of Christmas have never quite been spent like this …

What. The. Fuck.

This book totally destroys everything you’ve read previously in this series.

The women members of TLR are only allowed to have sex with the male members of TLR. No going outside the club. No exceptions. It’s the reason Evie snuck around with King knowing she would be thrown out and Drake could not date Bliss.

In this book, Hennessy is allowed to play a game of Naughty Santa and his club brother is asked if he also wants to play. It’s like a secret Santa with sex when you figure out who your secret Santa is. In more of the usual bullshit of women being purely there for the men’s entertainment with no actual member privileges, the women draw a name out of a hat and buy one of the men gifts and they guess who they are from. No sex until they guess correctly. Not only does Hennessy play, but so does Arin, Jewels friend. What now? How is this happening? Hennessy is allowed to fuck one of the women members if she draws his name. The author has thrown away the main point of being a female member of this sex club that rides motorcycles, sorry MC, for a short novella of one minor side character from another series and a random character that we’ve never heard of. With no explanation. Yeah ok.

Continuity errors, plot mistakes and editing issues have been getting worse with every book but this whole plot ignores the key points of being a female member of TLR. This oversight is unforgivable.

This was really a fun read and a perfect Christmas Themed story. The characters were fun and engaging and totally awesome.I have to say that this is my first book by this author but, won't be the last and that there also was a smile on my face reading this story the entire time .The Christmas game was fun and flirty and Hennessy and Arin had some amazing chemistry but, they also just fit one another and took the time to get to know one another maybe, in an unconventional way but, it worked for them. I personally just loved everything about the story as it drew you right in from the very beginning and kept you there to the end.Awesome read for us.

Sexy Hennessy

I was wondering about Hennessy, when I first read about him in Hostage I thought him and Ginny might be a couple but I am glad who he got with in this story. Arin was sweet and smart but had been hurt bad by her Ex, this story had all the great up and down that Jamie so good at writing, don't want to give up every thing, you will love it. Short but sweet, great ending! Thank Jamie again!💖

Christmas Surprise

Ho Ho Hennessy was a nice Christmas surprise from Jamie Begley to her fans about Hennessy and Arin. Hennessy is a background character that many fans of the Last Riders series have been hoping to learn more about and Arin is a friend of Jewels. He is a grumpy, sort of standoffish biker from another MC club and she is rebounding from a divorce from a man who stripped her of her self-esteem. They get off to a rocky start which leaves her embarrassed and him trying to redeem himself and win her in the process. I really appreciate that his story introduces more diversity to the series with the introduction of at least two other characters of color, Arin and Jet. Fans also are treated to more of the character Moon, who I'm sure will probably get his own story, as well as some new characters, Jack and Core. Ho Ho Hennessy is a nice little surprise Christmas gift.

Merry Christmas to the Grinch!

This was a great quick read. I'm looking forward to learning more about the new members.

The best part was the girls kicking the sh!t out of Hennessy. Taught him a lesson.

Erin and Hennessy have a very Merry Christmas and loves the ending. We should be hearing more from them.

NOW the real question is WHO is Jewel in love with???? Why you leaving that hanging Jamie!

What a sexy treat Ho Ho Hennessy was.
Jamie Begley knows how to bring the sexy vibes, that's for damn sure!

About Ho Ho Hennessy:

Ho Ho Hennessy is a christmas novella based around The Last Riders MC. This time it's Hennessy's turn to find love. If you all are wondering, Hennessy is, or was, the president of the Road Kingz. But after a fire burned a hole in the roof of his clubhouse, his brothers dispersed and the club broke apart.

Now Hennessy is passing through The Last Rider's territory and he finds himself in deep shit when he's rude to a woman whose a friend of the club. All bets of him finding love are off the table when the women have teamed together to give him the cold shoulder. resulting in his grinch like attitude.

A game of naughty santa might just be the ticket to get this grinch's heart to thaw out a bit, especially when his naughty santa turns out to be the one he can't get out of his head.

My Thoughts:

Jamie Begley brings the heat in this christmas novella. I loved every bit of Hennessy and his leading lady's story!!

Hennessy played a great grinchly role. Given the way he was grown up in the foster system, he's never been a big fan of christmas. But he's going to soon learn they go big or go home at the Last rider's clubhouse around christmas time. So he best get on board or get lost.

This was such a fun read. I loved it from beginning to end, my only issue was the fact that I'm a greedy bitch and wanted more! I wasn't ready to say goodbye to Hennessy and his leading lady. I loved their fire and their chemistry. I loved the endless banter and the fact that all the women in the clubhouse gave Hennessy the cold shoulder. It was fun seeing him try to maneuver his way around being an outcast.

Everytime I pick up a novel written by Jamie Begley, I pick up a new adventure. I love the roller coaster's and journey's she sends us on. Each book is a new surprise. Hennessy and his leading lady's book is another in a long list of books I love by her! I can't wait to see what she has up her sleeve next!

Merry Christmas to us from Jamie.

A woman determined to move past a failed marriage and a man determined to allow no one close and one Christmas game....what could possibly happen? I really enjoyed this quick read and loved the ending.

Short story

This short story fell short. No real depth, it's as if JB threw it all together and hit publish. Glad I read it in KU.

I really enjoyed this Christmas novella. Hennessy was a grump in any book he was in so I was very interested in how this book would play out. It had its funny moments too. Loved it!

I know I read the same book as the others who gave it high star ratings but Dear Lord I HATED THIS BOOK. I am a huge fan of JB and never did I think I would EVER give her a one star rating. I really hated Hennessy and wanted to give him a swift junk punch. Didn't like Arin. Insta love just isn't my thing. I though that Gavin's books would be the end of Last Riders so I question if Jewell will get her HEA inside of one of the remaining Gavin books since there was hidden hints inthe book about Jewell. All the Last Riders have an arrogance about them that is hot but with him it just made him look like an a**hole. There was very little of the main Last Riders in this. Viper and Winter and a couple of Shade comments thrown on. When I see a JB book and it has something to do with The Last Riders I want them all. I wanted to see the Ladies and their men. How can you not have a Shade and Lily moment. I know that the book was not really about all the Last Riders but you can't leave them out!!! To top it off I did not like that it was so short. Couldn't really get into it before it was over. Instead of throwing this out to us and using it as a little Christmas book I wish she had use that time to finish the second book on Gavin. In my opinion she wasted our time writing this and not working on books 2 and 3 for Gavin!! Not her best work and I have everything she has written.

Sorry I'm late to the party in my review. I hated this book!!! If I could give zero stars and still review it I would. This felt like a rushed filler of time book. I disliked Hennessy and he had nothing to bring to the table for me but arrogance. Arin deserved more but then again she kept him so maybe her bar was low in the first place. Did not like how the women were treated in this book. This was the first time in the series that I felt like the women were second class citizens. Just felt like she should had skipped writing this trash and worked harder on Gavin's books which for me is what I have been waiting for. I have not read another book from any author that has taken Shades's place and Hennessy sure as hell didn't. I wanted to kill him the entire book. I wish I had been warned about this book because even if I have read every book in TLR series and spin off series I would have not wasted my hard earned money on this one!!!!!

Arin, Jewel's friend, comes to The Last Riders looking for a confidence boost after her ex left her self confidence buried in the ground.

Enter Hennessy, who makes Arin think her ex-husband was right!

But as with this authors previous books, she makes us gasp and hate and then gives us the beautiful back in spades!

Another great little story for the series and
hearing Winter's long line of sneaky bets to get stuff for the school kids made me very nostalgic....maybe a reread ahead!

Better than the last several Last Riders books

I have disliked so many of this author's Last Riders books that I was ready to call it quits. It's such a pity because I enjoyed seceral of her books including Viper, Shades first book, Lucky and Razer's books, but the other five books in the Last Rider's series were really boring. I am trying to finish the books of the characters I liked in the Last Riders, including Gavin, Jewell, Moon and Hennessy, whose book this is.

So my review, of this book. Hennessy was nothing like he was in the Last Riders books, and I didn't get to know Aria at all in this because it was lacking depth. I know some will say it's a novella, but I've read one chapter length stories on wattpad with more depth than this, so being a novella is no excuse. I did enjoy reading it however and there are some nice pieces of humour. So giving it 3 stars.

Probably a generous rating but I've read worse, even from this author herself. I am still irritated that she is churning out too many books, far too quickly. Because honestly it's gotten to the point that I just want to be done with her. She really is causing her book sales harm doing so many series's so quick because they're boring books and after having read one in each series, I have zero interest in continuing them.

Even Gavin's books, who is a character I was looking forward to reading so much was extremely poor. Gavin's Song was nothing but boring and ridiculously unbelievable OTT backstory on him and Ginny. They don't even meet each other until the very end of the book! Literally the very end! I'm just at the point where I can't wait to finish Gavin's books and Jewell's book and then I can finally quit this author and never read her again.

I have been waiting for a book on Hennessy since we met him in Hostage; which at the time I believed he would end up with Ginny, but we all know that didn't happen.

You can definitely read this book before Gavin's Song; for one thing the author said you could and another Gavin is mentioned in passing, but no spoilers are shown (at this moment, have not read Gavin's Song since I am waiting for the trilogy to be complete).

Now back to Hennessy and Arin; Arin, is the bestie of Jewel since high school, and a recent divorcee trying to find her groove that she lost because of her crappy husband. It has to be said I'm sorry, but Hennessy was a massive buttmole to Arin when they first "meet" and then continued to be an a**hole to her. However, Mr Grinch got a big dose of reality when Arin (aka his baby girl) decided to participate in The Last Riders' holiday games which included more than just fun games and gifts ;)

I loved Arin, she was courageous and kind and the love she and Jewel had for each other was beautiful. Arin made Hennessy work for every little thing and I enjoyed that the most, almost as much as seeing Hennessy's jealousy over Arin. Unfortunately, for Hennessy he now had to work for Arin and he had some competition with a new recruit named Jack.

Possible Spoiler:

Jewel and Nickel, I think it's Jewel and Nickel, because Jewel was allowed to pick an extra name to put into the hat and she chose Nickel, now it could also be Moon, but I have a feeling it's Nickel.

A new book, a new character, but this time, I wasn't so happy with what I found.  The book has the usual turns and twists you expect from one of Jamie's stories, but I felt this time it was kind of predictable, and even if that wasn't the case, it still fell flat compared to others.  In the book we have the usual hot biker, and a woman that falls for him, a few misunderstandings, some things that end up not being what we expected, many problems and a happy ending, just what we should expect.

If you are already invested in Jamie Begley's biker world, then you should read it, if not, don't start with this one.

Arin is Jewell's best friend who comes to the Last Riders Clubhouse for Christmas to spend it with Jewell and everyone else. Arin just came out of a 6 year marriage and she's looking to get back into the saddle with the single guys in the club. Hennessy is the president of the Road Kingz and a frequent associate of the Last Riders and Predators and he's also in town before going down to Florida. That night Arin throws herself at him and she gets a messy reception. My problem with this situation was the fact that she didn't really know how things worked and just threw herself at some random dude and didn't like the result. Hennessy was hard man, who's lived a hard life and his mind wasn't on sex that night just sleep and he was drunk off his ass. So for the women to jump down his throat was ridiculous. But I was glad that eventually he got his head out his ass and apologized to Arin. While Hennessy was rude to her, Arin had her own issues, her ex did a number on her and she was just finding herself again. I was glad that when they were away from everyone in the club, they talked and got to know each other and they just clicked and they were it for each other. It was sweet story, I was glad to see the Last Riders and I can't wait for Gavin's next book.

I don't quite remember Hennessy from the other books, but imo I thought he was too full of himself. He blew off Arin but then made an ass of himself when he actually took the time to see her. As for Arin her ex did a number on her and made her feel less than zero. He idea was to sleep with a Last Rider and move on. She didn't count on having feelings for him. Not sure how she does since he treated her like crap. Plus who the hell is Arin besides Jewells friend? She went on about not needing money and this big business she owns but didnt' really get much of a back story on her.
Also if Hennessy was all that why was he such a major asshole.
It didn't take him long to fall for Arin and change his whole life to be with her.

This book was a 2.5 for me. I enjoyed Viper, Winter doing her thing with the betting was kinda annoying this time around. Moon was a big part of the book. It was nice to see more of him. He always seem like secondary character. Hennessey was his grumpy self, but I still enjoyed him. Arin at the begin came off not in such a good light. I didn’t blame Hennessey for driving away from her. In the end I ended up liking her. Jewell bothered me the entire book, it was she was the president of the club throwing her weight around. I will not be reread this one. And I most differently won’t be reading Jewell’s book. Over all it disappointing with a couple of good things mixed in.

Top 10 best authors I've ever read

I started later in The Last Riders series, and loved the book so much I started at the beginning. I have literally devoured every book of this author. I have laughed, cried, and been pissed off alongside every character in her books. Reading her books has helped me thru a recent loss of a loved one and I can't thank her enough. The absolute best interwoven storylines I've ever read. You go, Jamie Begley!! I CAN NOT WAIT for more of your books!!

Hennessy

Christmas fun at The Last Riders home front and a very good short read. Jewel is still living in the Last Riders and we get a mention of Gavin being there as well. Besides that this was a great read and I’m glad there’s a better side to Hennessy then what we’ve seen. Winter is in betting mode, Viper as always has his full with they guys getting on his nerves and it seems we have 2 new members joining the Last Riders Ohio Chapter. Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas Arin you got your man.
