Greed. Power. Sin.
It all comes with the gavel.
Blurs the lines between church and state.
But the Knightdale Charter of the Satan's Knights MC is my life.
And I'd do anything for this club.
Like letting the best woman I ever had slip through my fingertips.
A sinfully beautiful spitfire, she's my better half in every way.
My twin flame. My everything.
My biggest regret.
But there's no making things right between us.
Because I'm the reason she's alone yet again.
And if our past wasn't enough to put out the fire in her soul, my crimes certainly will be.

3 ⭐⭐⭐ - OK decent reads.
======================
The 3 stars are for the scene where our heroine beats the shit out of OW! I love it when this happens or when OW/club whore dies a horrible death! Judge me, I don't care! LOL!

Both cheated emotionally throughout the heroine's marriage. The poor guy who married her, built a family with her and in the end was disposable like yesterday's garbage and all the shit our hero put her through was forgotten and forgiven.
But I've read worse and I'm going to give the series a chance.

And so was I because Holly did cook, five—sometimes six nights a week—until the dinners got cold on the stove and I stopped coming home.

There used to be a time in our lives when all Holly had to do was shoot me that look and seconds later we were both naked, fucking on the kitchen floor like our lives depended on it.

“She sure was,” she hisses. “She said give a man a blow job he’ll never forget, and he won’t ever cheat.” I flinch.

“Bullshit,” she says. “I invited you over last Sunday, but you were ‘too busy’,” she continues, walking the tray over to the table. She sets it down and fiddles with the silverware, eyeing me from across the room. “What was it this time? A blonde or a brunette?”

Six years ago, the knife of regret cut real deep when Holly remarried and it fucking severed an artery four years later when she gave birth to his son.

I gave up my woman and a damn good man came and claimed her for himself. He didn’t ignore her. He didn’t make her cry. He didn’t reach for something else because he knew he already had the best in his arms. He appreciated everything I took for granted.

Why wasn’t I enough for him? Why couldn’t he love me the way Colt does?

Maverick loved his club more than he ever loved me.

I suppose that’s why it hurts so much. I can love Colt until the day I die, but my soul will never belong to him. It will always find Maverick.

Cherry is no stranger to the clubhouse. Hell, she’s taken so much cock she deserves a fucking patch.

“Vivi is here too,” Hawk reveals. At the mention of my on-again off-again piece of ass, I peel my eyes away from Ink and Cherry and meet his gaze.

Tonight won’t be the first time I sink my dick inside her pussy while imagining it’s Holly’s and it sure as hell won’t be the last.

We’ve been doing the same fucking dance since way before the ink dried on my divorce papers.

“Still dipping your dick in that rachet pussy, Mav, huh?” she sneers, her eyes full of fury.

“Yeah, I did,” Holly confirms. “And she was just as pleasant as she was when I first caught her in bed with my husband.”

She’s been avoiding the clubhouse like the fucking plague ever since she found me in bed with Vivi the day after she served me divorce papers.

Then I turn to the bitch who I found in bed with my husband eight years ago.

I don't know where to start. My heart is a huge mess right now. I knew this was going to happen. This author's words seem to always get to me. Holding my heart captive. Playing with my emotions. Keeping me captivated. Further solidifying my place as #PropertyOfParrish and making me think I might enjoy being #PropertyOfBurnside.

There was no denying that Maverick and Holly were soulmates. So what if they got divorced eight years ago? So what if she was now married to another man? So what if she had a son with her new husband? She belonged to Maverick just as much as he belonged to her.

As president of the North Carolina chapter of the Knights, father of two kids, and the go-to guy whenever there's a problem, Maverick's got his hands full. He doesn't have time to be pining for his ex-wife. Tell that to his heart. Tell his soul to move on. Good luck with that!

As for Holly, while she loved her husband, she longed for her ex. It seemed everyone knew it and when faced with a choice, she is finally forced to face some hard truths. Is she strong enough and will she be honest with herself to give everyone she loves what they need?

I am so happy to know that what Bosco created with her Knights in New York will live on with this series. As with Forsaking All Others, I expect stories full of drama and suspense and plenty of heart.

This has some spoilers. Don’t read this if you don’t want to know.

I liked it but my enjoyment was dimmed by a few things that happened. I get that Holly and Maverick had this intense connection...but I can’t keep thinking that Maverick broke those vows. Maverick was responsible for what happened to Colt. And I especially hated that Colt knew that he wasn’t enough for Holly. Why would she do to a man the same thing Maverick did to her? Make him feel he wasn’t enough?? That made me lose respect for her. And the end with Vivi...I will never understand why Holly went after her. Vivi wasn’t the one who made promises to her. She never goes after Maverick like she did Vivi...but Vivi is the bad one? Really?? *eye roll*

I think if I didn’t feel like Colt was a placeholder, I would have liked it so much more. Because now all I can think is Maverick never really had to make things right. He got everything he wanted with very little fuss...including a fucking good time during the years they were separated. This could have been an awesome second chance romance, and if Holly had been in love with Colt the way I (and Colt) wished she was, I think it would have made the 2nd chance her and Maverick got more meaningful. But as it stands it didn’t take her long to get over the other man. So what was the point of him even being in the story?

Colt deserved better than that.

Have you ever had the love of your life slip away only to regret the mistakes you've made? Well, Maverick did about eight years ago when his wife Holly filed for divorce and he's been kicking himself for it ever since. Holly and Maverick have a once in a lifetime kind of love, it doesn't matter that she remarried and had a kid with him, he still loves her like he did when they first fell in love and has every day since.

This story will definitely pull at your heartstrings so be prepared with tons of tissues. I really enjoyed the push and pull of Holly and Maverick's relationship, and I loved the way he would do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING for her and his kids...no questions asked.

I have mixed feelings on this one. On one hand I liked it, but there were things that happened that I didn't.

I would say those who prefer 'safe' reads, this wouldn't go down well. But those who are looking for a new MC series and are fans of this author would enjoy this. I'll definitely try the next one in the series. It's 2021 - time to broaden my reading scope I think :)

Forsaking All Others was my first book by this author and most definitely not my last. This book is a perfect example of why I love romance so much. Maverick and Holly met when she was 16 and he was immediately interested and told her to come back when she turns 18. Once Holly returns, they fall in love and get married. Together they have two wonderful children but unfortunately Maverick chooses the club over her. To make matters worse she walks in on him with a club girl. So now it's 8 years after their divorce but they are still very much a part of each other's lives co-parenting their children. Maverick is now President of his club and Holly is remarried to a new man and has a new young son. Unfortunately, Holly still is very much in love with her ex-husband and he with her. I loved the fact that Maverick had to see his biggest regret every time he went to Holly's home and watched her with her new man. It tore him apart to see that he let the best thing in his life go. Now many people would not like the fact that yes although she was married it was Maverick that she leaned on, and he was who she would always turn to. When tragedy strikes yes, she moves on with Maverick really quickly, but it was only a matter of time that it was going to happen. They were soul mates and when we find that other half of ourselves unfortunately nothing else matters. The only reason I didn't rate this one 5 stars is because I wanted more heat and wish it was longer. I can't wait to tackle this authors backlist and I will definitely reread this one at some point.

Forsaking all Others has all the markings of a Janine Infante Bosco story! Brotherhood, loyalty and love with and edge of danger, all combine to make this a story that you will not want to miss!
Maverick and Holly have that unexplainable connection that neither of them can deny and even though they walked away from each other years ago that pull is always there. Holly moved on and remarried but even that can’t break their connection and now circumstances have thrown them back into the fire that always sizzles under the surface!
Get ready because this North Carolina chapter of the Satan’s Knights is just getting started and this book is a fantastic start to this new series with a whole new group of characters that you are going to be so excited to meet!

Maverick cheated with the club whore…. Now Maverick and Holly have been divorced for 4 years . They were together at least 12 years. They have 2 kids they coparent. Holly is remarried and had a toddler. They work well as a blended family but they are soul mates and both pine for each other….her current husband Colt is a good guy who brings her flowers… I would say there is definitely emotional cheating but to
Me this is a slow burn… they don’t reconnect physically until the last chapter.

Didn’t like either H or h in this book. Holly and Maverick have been divorced for 8 years. Holly is remarried and has a young son with her new husband Colt. Mav and Holly have 2 teenage kids together, whom they co-parent. The book starts out {“My Aunt Fern used to say any woman who thinks the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach is aiming about ten inches too high,” Holly says, smacking my hand from the tray of corn fritters.}. Ummm, okay.... That’s the h talking to the H in her current husband’s kitchen.

We are told, from Holly’s point of view, that she divorced Mav (who she’d been with since she turned 18) because he put the club before her over and over. Also, there’s a club whore who she caught him with and he’s been screwing for the past 8 years. It’s not clear to me when that started, I think while they were still married? But unless I’m missing something, the extent/timeline of his extramarital dalliances are never really fleshed out. This is annoying, because I was waiting the whole book for more details on why she felt the need to divorce the man she never fell out of love with! Add in her poor dolt of a husband getting killed because Mav involved him in a gun run and yeah, in the end I couldn’t care less about the happy couple because they are both douchebags. None of the problems that seemingly broke them up are ever resolved, they just end up together because there’s a “fire burning between them”. 🤮

Forsaking All Others is such a fantastic read. Be prepared to get sucked into this new MC series now because all I can say is it is I have a feeling it is going to get addicting. I love Maverick and Holly. You feel how deep their love runs even when they are no loner together. You feel every pull that brings them together. Maverick is fantastic with the not only his kids with Holly but Holly's son with Colt too. There is such a wonderful dynamic that will put the smile on your face. Holly is a lot stronger then given credit for when it comes to the life in an MC. She is a biker queen no matter how much time passes. I love how we get this incredible love all in entangled in the MC world. I really cannot wait for more to come.

Great start to a new series.

Holly and Maverick were married and have since divorced. Holly loved Maverick with everything she had but the club always came first. While he gave her two beautiful children he couldn't give her all of him. Holly has moved on and is now married to Colt and they have a little boy. Holly and Maverick are coparenting amazingly through all this but her heart still wants him and he doesn't make things easy. When things for the club go sideways Holly is always the one to calm Maverick but this time things have gone to far. Can Holly and Maverick find their way back to each other?

Their banter is hot, fun and sexy and the kids are awesome. Side characters have a lot to say and can't wait for some to get their own story.. Hint Ghost

Loving this extension of the Knights from Néw York with the club from North Carolina. I love the chance to get a glimpse at old favorites. Maverick’s story is complicated. His ex, Holly is remarried and has a new child while raising his two children. He still loves her and carries a flame for her. When things get complicated with his club, it pulls Holly right back into his orbit. Can things be as they once were, is there a second chance in this life for him to get her love back?

Forsaking All Others is book #1 of The Satan's Knights MC North Carolina series of biker romances.

This is the story of President Maverick and his ex-wife Holly. It’s about the love for family and the duty to the club. Mav and Holly were married and had two children before the duties to his club pulled them apart. Now Mav must stand aside and watch another man help raise his kids.

However, Holly turns to Mav when her husband’s employer halves his hours. Mav will always have Holly’s back but when the club is threatened Mav’s loyalties are once more pulled in opposite directions.

This is a dark contemporary romance, the first three words of the book description fit it well: Greed. Power. Sin. It’s also sexy and passionate. A good start to the series.

Soulmates That Can’t Let Go!!

Maverick is the Prez for the Satan’s Knights MC North Carolina Chapter and he’s lived the hard fast life of a biker in high places. He was lucky enough to have found his soulmate, his queen years ago. She was the Queen of the MC and loved by many and they had two beautiful children together. Slowly their lives deteriorated though and when Holly caught Maverick in bed with another woman she was out.

Holly married again and had another child with a loving man named Colt. After the divorce they had a unique and loving relationship being one big happy family. One thing that I loved about Maverick was how he interacted as a family man…maybe with a few rough edges but devoted still the same.

So what happens when Maverick puts the new husband, Colt’s life on the line? Maverick had always liked Colt but he loved Holly more. That fire with her just never went out.

This book was quite the page turner full of everything MC; hard living, wars, club business, betrayal and steaminess. I can’t wait to read more from this author because this book checked off all the boxes for me!!

This is a second chance MC romance where the main characters, Holly and Maverick were married, but have divorced due to Maverick’s duties to his club. She’s moved on, but still they still love each other. Holly is dragged back in when conflicts arise with the club and the question is will they give their relationship a second chance?

This was a good read and I was sucked into the book from the first page. I really liked the connection between the two main characters. Even though they were apart in the book they were each other’s soulmates and love between the two was evident. This story pulled at my heartstrings and I loved the sweet ending!

Forsaking All Others is book 1 in a spin-off series, The Satan's Knights MC North Carolina. No worries if you're new to this author or haven't read the original series...you can jump right in here!

Maverick is the president of the NC motorcycle club charter. He loves his MC but he also loves his two kids. And although they've been divorced for eight years...Maverick still loves his ex wife. Holly found her soulmate when she was barely 17 years old. She loved Maverick and their kids but love wasn't enough to keep their family together. The demands of the motorcycle club tore them apart. Holly has moved on, remarried a good man (Colt) and had another son with him. But once again, the club invades Holly's marriage. What will happen the second the around?

Two things you should know:

*This story is what I'd call a "gray area" romance. There's no physical cheating but there IS emotional cheating!
*As usual for JIB, you'll find plenty of angst!

I've read many books by this author and I always think, "This one is sooo good, this one's my favorite!" Then the next book comes out and I end up thinking the same damn thing. Honestly, it took me a bit to get through that "gray area" because I'm not big on cheating or love triangles. But I'm so glad I stuck with it because I loved this book!

I've decided that Maverick is my new favorite BAD BOY. He was a great father to all of the kids, even Colt and Holly's son. Plus, he was the epitome of H-O-T: sexy, smart, loving, bold, confident, rode a motorcycle and had the perfect amount of possessiveness. I seriously cringed whenever he WASN'T with Holly! I know, I know... Holly was married to Colt not Mav anymore but I couldn't help myself. The connection between Holly and Mav was swoon worthy! SIGH...

OH...and I adored Holly, too. (wink, wink)

I managed to shed a few tears with this story so if you enjoy sexy angst, scoop this one up! Told from dual POVs with a super sweet ending. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.

This is the 1st in a new chapter and what a perfect beginning this is for a new series. Maverick is the President of the Satan Knights and his biggest regret was that with the MC being his life, he lost his wife Holly, who he had two children with. Now Holly has moved on and married another man as well as having a little boy together. When danger comes knocking tragedy strikes and Holly is alone again, is Mav responsible for her loss? I loved reading about one of my all-time favourites Parrish who makes a brief appearance in this storyline. This is a well written flawless story which is entertaining, humorous, witty, and with betrayal, action, danger, suspense, twists, and love. I was totally captivated throughout this riveting and addictive page turner, and I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Forsaking All Others has us riding into the Satan’s Knights North Carolina Chapter where Maverick and his brothers take us on a journey of chaos and mayhem. Maverick and Holly no matter what, have always been the other half of each other’s soul, he was her Knight and she was his Queen but when life and the club get in the way of their love, these two must learn to pick up the pieces. However eight years on and these two still flow through each other’s veins and when tragedy strikes it might just be time for these two to stake the claim on their hearts. A story that has you on the edge of your seat and your mind reeling as we receive visits from old friends, trust and loyalties are questioned and again we bleed red and black. Their story is packed with heart, grit, passion and danger. Maverick and Holly will own your heart and have you eager for more time with the club.

On my knees

I need more than five stars! This book consumed me and I could not stop reading until I got to the end. Then I was hoping for an encore like at a concert. I wasn’t ready for the end.
Mav and Holly are off the charts! I want to be Holly when I grow up!! She is tough as nails and such a phenomenal leading lady.
Mav, well what can I say, he’s the KING!
I am so excited to follow this chapter of the Knights.
It’s no secret that this author is one of my absolute favorites, I have read everything she’s written and this one is at the very top. She knocked it out of the park with this one. Loved it!! I can not say enough about it!

My first mistake was starting this book at 11pm. My second mistake was thinking I could read a couple of chapters and put it down. My final mistake was thinking I wouldn’t be captivated in those beginning chapters and I would get sleep. It’s hard for me to explain but it was words in the book that had my captivated. I loved this book. I love Maverick and Holly. I love the flirting and the memories they shared. This book got me from the first chapter. I just couldn’t put this book down. But it was so worth getting only 3 hours of sleep. I want more.

Church is in Session!

Church is in session! From the minute I started Maverick and Holly's story I couldn't put it down. The twists, turns, highs, lows, Parrish and the boys of the NYC Chapter....kept me on the edge of my seat and left me wanting more. I won't spoil this book for anyone, however I will say this there were so many amazing moment's, I laughed, I cried and fought right along with Mav and Holly as they caught for something that was ment to be forever. If you love The Satan's Knights and are a fan of Janine this book is a must read.

What a start to a new Chapter! New York will always be the original, but watch out, North Carolina is hot on their heels. We meet the new crew, learn a little history and get caught in an epic, unconventional love story.
Maverick, the Prez, has his hands full. A woman he loves and can't get out of his veins, a rival club waiting in the wings, a familiar ally that brings unthinkable news, death, by his hands and others, betrayal and deception. The Reaper is back, hang on, it's going to be one helluva ride.

Soulmates…

Even 8 yrs after their divorce Maverick and Holly still are drawn to each other. Holly has remarried and has a little boy by her new husband. He’s good to her, loves her 2 kids by Maverick like his own, gives her unconditional love, puts her first but he was not her soulmate.

This story had lots of twists and turns. Some forbidden feelings but fate seems to play a cruel joke and brings these two back together.

Angst, drama, danger and tragedy are just a few emotions felt.

A flame that will burn bright even in the darkest of moments

Forsaking All Others reminded me of my own personal life and the struggles and growth I went through which made me love it even more. I appreciate that Janine brings real life painful situations into her books. I understand a lot of readers like to escape from there reality by reading and are hesitant about reading a story where someone was unfaithful. HOWEVER I highly recommend this story. Forsaking All Others is about a love like no other. One that runs deep in one's soul and can't be forgotten or replaced. Alot of people in this world let go .of there twin flame for fear of what others will think, its nice to read about a flame that will burn bright even in the darkest of moments.

Forsaking All Others is book #1 in a new series The Satan's Knights MC North Carolina. I was drawn into the chaos and mayhem from the first page. I found that there was more emotions involved in this book, than others I have read from this author. It was a second chance, brother's, and most of all family. I liked the characters, and I can't wait to get more of their stories. Kt was a great read!
