grain store

Sleeps 10
5 Bedrooms
From £750 per night

Once a giant storage barn stockpiling the farm’s harvest, Grain Store is now an ultra-stylish countryside retreat where high ceilings, original roof beams and rustic exposed stone walls meet deer antler chandeliers and luxury roll top baths. With five bedrooms sleeping up to ten people, kitted-out entertaining spaces and a garden with rolling country views (also to be admired from the wood fired hot tub), this secluded stay really is the crème de la crème of Cotswolds group getaways.

Kitchen, Living & Dining Areas

On the ground floor you’ll find a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living space, flooded with natural light from the glass sliding doors overlooking the garden. Expect a roomy breakfast island, a long dining table seating up to twelve people and large sinking sofas centred around a log burner.

On this floor there are two double rooms with super-king size beds (one of these can be made into twins on request). They both share a bathroom with a shower, and one also has a roll-top bath in the bedroom. You’ll also find a separate downstairs loo.

The Bedrooms

Upstairs, discover three more double en-suite bedrooms with super-king size beds (one of these can also be made into twins on request) with glorious garden views. One of the en-suites has a roll-top bath.

Dogs

Grain Store is happy to accept up to two dogs for an additional fee of £50 per dog. We kindly ask that dogs are never left unattended, and do not go on any of the furniture or in bedrooms.

Concierge Services

Sitting on the edge of a family-run working farm with four other converted farm buildings, Grain Store benefits from a full concierge service. Guests can enjoy assistance with anything from restaurant recommendations and reservations, to insider tips on the best local farmers markets to visit, arranging massages and catering for private events.

About Bibury, The Cotswolds

Known for its honey-hued stone and pretty chocolate-box cottages, Bibury is home to one of the most photographed streets in the whole of the Cotswolds; the National Trust protected, Arlington Row. Crowned by William Morris as ‘the most beautiful village in the Cotswolds’, it’s safe to say that this iconic countryside destination will not disappoint.

Expect pretty pastoral scenes at every turn (the River Coln runs through the village), a popular village pub and a handful of historic sights to discover. You can explore the nearby towns of Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, Stroud and more, plus the classic Cotswolds Lavender Farm is only a short drive away.

How To Get There

Grain Store sits just outside the village of Bibury, located between Cirencester and Burford (about a 15-minute drive from each). We recommend travelling to the Cotswolds by car, so you can explore the surrounding area. There is private parking and an electric vehicle charging point available upon request.

The closest train station is at Kemble (roughly a 25-minute drive away), with regular trains running from London and other major cities. The train from London Paddington takes approximately one and a half hours.
