Rangers boss Steven Gerrard’s company made more than £500,000 last year — boosting its value to almost £7million

RANGERS boss Steven Gerrard’s company made more than £500,000 last year — boosting its value to almost £7million.

Steven Gerrard Promotions trousered a profit of £536,617 with net assets of £6,849,589, according to accounts filed at Companies House.

Liverpool legend Gerrard, 38, set up the firm during his playing career for his off-field income.

But he has continued to rake in cash after taking charge at Ibrox.

A source said: “He’s a huge name all over the world — it’s no surprise his personal firm is very successful.”

The midfield icon has recently launched a range of new business ventures including his own clothing line — SGG Apparel.

He is co-director of the firm with brother Paul.

It comes after amid of range of new business ventures for the former England midfielder, including his own clothing brand and product endorsement.

Dad-of-four Gerrard is listed as secretary and co-director of the company, along with his brother Paul.

We previously told how Gerrard launched his own clothing line – SGG Apparel – and even posed for a string of moody publicity shots.

Images showed Gerrard nailing a thousand-yard stare wearing a casual jacket.

And another featured the Ibrox boss reclining on a blue chair in a black, long-sleeved polo.

The clothing line’s logo features two interlocked squares shaped like an ‘8’ — an apparent nod to the Liverpool legend’s squad number at Anfield.

The menswear label, featuring the initials of Gerrard - whose middle name is George – went on sale in November.

And in August, he was mocked for plugging a candle firm on Instagram.

He also promotes trendy bottled water Angel Revive to his 7.4million Instagram followers.
