Policy 2:105 Ethics and Gift Ban, legal references, cross-references, and footnotes have been updated in response to the State Officials and Employees Ethics Act, 5 ILCS 430/70-5, amended by P.A. 101-221, requiring boards to amend, by resolution, their sexual harassment policies by February 9 2020 to include a mechanism for reporting and independent review of sexual harassment allegations made against board members by elected officials.

Policy 2:105 includes a new subhead, Complaints of Sexual Harassment Made Against Board Members By Elected Officials.  

Policy 2:105 is presented by the policy committee for First Read. The policies and associated resolution will return for approval on second read and adoption at the February 13 2019 Regular Action Meeting.
