Chinese woman missing for two weeks after vanishing in Glasgow sparking desperate police search

A CHINESE woman has been missing in Scotland for two weeks after vanishing and sparking a desperate police hunt.

Jin He, 41, was last seen on Monday January 6 in Glasgow.

Police Scotland are very concerned for her safety and are actively trying to trace her.

Jin is a Chinese national, who is described as being 5ft6in, with red medium length hair.

When last seen, she was wearing a black puffer style jacket and carrying a black ruck sack.

Officers are appealing to members of the public who may have seen her to come forward with details.

Inspector Stevie Kinvig, from London Road Police Office said : "We are growing increasingly concerned for Jin and we are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen her or knows where she is.

"Please get in touch with Police Scotland on 101, quoting 0848 of 8 January, 2020."

We told yesterday how a Glasgow man who vanished three days ago has sparked a frantic police search amid fears for his safety.

Gary McLeish, 54, was last seen on Turnlaw Street at 3.30pm on Friday.

He has not been in touch with any loved ones since, and cops say that is "totally out of character."
