2019 will be remembered for a lot of things, but one of them will undoubtedly be the long-awaited Jonas Brothers reunion. Not only did Joe, Nick, and Kevin team up once again for new music and a tour, but they’ve been working on a documentary and a memoir, the latter of which finally has an official (albeit later than expected) release date.

The JoBros took to Twitter earlier this week to announce that their memoir, titled BLOOD, will be available with a new on-sale date of October 20, 2020. As noted by JustJaredJr., this news might come as a bit of a disappointment to fans who were expecting the book this March (and it was reportedly originally supposed to be released in November 2019).

Despite October being several months away, the Jonas Brothers promise “it will be worth the wait.” The band also noted that the memoir can be pre-ordered at their custom website, bloodmemoir.com.

According to the book’s official webpage, the memoir will detail the group’s rise to stardom, their eventual breakup, and recent reunion. “Written with Neil Strauss, coauthor of The Dirt, and told in their own words, this is a totally unfiltered memoir about three brothers who learn that blood is thicker than fame,” the book’s description reads.

Blood was initially announced back in May 2019. “We’re three brothers from New Jersey, and we were not supposed to be successful,” Joe said in a statement at the time, per Entertainment Weekly. “From record labels dropping us to our dad losing his job over us, this shouldn’t have happened or lasted as long as it did. Yet here we are, more excited than ever, and we’re so grateful and ready to tell the full story of the journey we’ve had as individuals, as artists, and as family.”
