SCC Youth Compete at UTC Tournament

By Sara Garrow

On April 16th, Sokaogon youth participated in the Ultimate Teams Camps (UTC) tournament that was held at Greenheck Field House.

After seeing the notice in the Tribe's e-newsletter, I asked my kids Auron and Ellie if they wanted to participate, and they said yes and put their teams together.

Auron's team, the Patriots, included Caleb Wozniak, Kalvin Jonas and Vinnie Ipsa. Ellie’s team, the Aly Oops, included Aleah McCorkle, Ava LeMaster and Alycia Weber.

The girls placed 3rd and the boys placed 4th. Both groups shared that they had fun and can’t wait to do it again.

We want to thank the Rec Center for offering to pay for the teams to participate!

Congratulations to everyone on your great efforts! To view upcoming UTC events, visit their Facebook page.
