The City of Dayton Human Relations Council in partnership with the Miami Valley Fair Housing Center, the Dayton Mediation Center, Advocates for Basic Legal Equality, and the Greater Dayton Realtist Association will hold a special screening of “The Banker,” a film about black businessmen breaking into the segregated U.S. housing market in the 1960s, , at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at the Eichelberger Forum in the Dayton Metro Library, Main Library Branch located at 215 E. Third St. Dayton OH 45402.

In the 1960s, two entrepreneurs (Anthony Mackie and Samuel L. Jackson) hatch an ingenious business plan to fight for housing integration—and equal access to the American Dream. Nicholas Hoult and Nia Long co-star in this drama inspired by true events.
