FATHERS AND FAMILIES:

BUILDING SAFE, HEALTHY, AND THRIVING COMMUNITIES TOGETHER

Addressing and Ending Youth Violence in Our Communities

The Eighth Annual New York Fathering Conference

This conference spotlights the critical impact of life-long learning for fathers and their families. Our speakers have designed workshops to focus on strategies for dads to establish and strengthen good family relations; to enrich, encourage and support opportunities to explore local employment and educational avenues; and to equip fathers with the necessary skills for navigating their communities—and the world—together.

Over the years, this annual event has been attended by more than 1,750 fathers and family serving professionals from Westchester, around New York and seven other states.

This year, our featured speaker is Erica Ford, a world-renowned human rights activist and anti-violence leader.

This session is the first of a three-part series:

  1. 11/15/2022 - Starting the Conversation
  2. 01/24/2023 - Starting the Response with Self and The Family
  3. 03/21/2023 - Starting the Response with the Community
