Early July 12, Binh Duong province and Nebraska State (USA) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the two localities for vigorous development cooperation.

The signing of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Binh Duong province in Vietnam and Nebraska State in the United States signifies a commitment to enhance development cooperation between the two localities. The signing ceremony was witnessed by representatives from the U.S. Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, authorities, and enterprises from both parties.

The MOU covers various areas of cooperation, including planning, infrastructure development, urban construction, economic development, scientific engineering, health, public services, finance, insurance, and education. This agreement opens up significant potential and opportunities for collaboration between Binh Duong province and Nebraska State.

Additionally, Eastern International University and the University of Nebraska-Omaha also signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation. This provides opportunities for both universities to engage in joint activities, such as learning, research, and development. Students from both institutions can benefit from experiential activities, student exchanges, and academic projects.

Binh Duong province has been successful in attracting foreign investment projects, leading to partnerships with various countries such as Korea, the Netherlands, Japan, and others. Currently, the province is home to 4,121 foreign-invested enterprises with a total registered capital of $40 billion. This influx of foreign investment has contributed to the province’s economic growth and development.

Overall, the MoU between Binh Duong province and Nebraska State, along with the collaboration between the universities, is expected to foster cooperation, knowledge exchange, and further development between the two localities.
