Dragons of the Week: Abbonizio and Drake

PHILADELPHIA - Allison Drake of women's lacrosse and Grace Abbonizio have been named the Drexel Dragons of the Week, presented by Rothman Orthopaedics, for the week from March 18 - March 24.
Allison Drake led the Dragons to a 13-5 win over Campbell on Friday night. With the victory, Drexel opens up CAA play at 2-0. The Easton, Pa. native scored a career-high five goals and was successful on 5 of 6 shots. Additionally, the redshirt senior picked up two ground balls and caused a turnover against the Camels.
Grace Abbonizio helped softball to a sweep over CAA foe, North Carolina A&T this past weekend. At the plate, the West Chester, Pa. native went 7-9, recorded six RBIs, and accounted for four runs. The senior went a perfect 3-3 in game one of Friday's doubleheader, smashing her second home run of the year and was responsible for five of Drexel's seven runs.
