LOS ANGELES (KNX) - Actress Raquel Welch, best known for her roles in “Fantastic Voyage” and "One Million Years B.C.", has died, according to multiple reports. She was 82 years old.
TMZ and PEOPLE Magazine reported the actress died Wednesday following a brief illness.
Welch, who was born in Chicago, Illinois, was an icon of the 60’s and 70’s, often being regarded as a sex symbol. In 1995, Empire magazine named her one of the “100 Sexiest Stars in Film History.”
She won a Golden Globe in 1974 for her role in ‘The Three Musketeers.” She was also nominated for her role in the 1987 movie “Right to Die.”
Welch was married four times and has two children.
