The Best Loaded Nachos
This fan favorite takes a traditional tailgating snack to the next level.
These loaded nachos are great for tailgating and game night, but let's be honest, they would make a delicious meal any night of the week.
One of our favorite things about this recipe is that you can really customize the dish exactly the way you like. Chorizo not your thing? Swap it out for grilled chicken! Or add some pulled pork or skirt steak. You could even make this dish meatless and skip it altogether.
Other additions we like: guacamole, slow-cooker beef, a classic restaurant-style salsa, cilantro, chili powder, cotija cheese (available in most Mexican grocery stores), black olives, or quick-pickled onions — but what you decide on is entirely up to you!
When it comes to chips, the thicker the better. Thin tortilla chips tend to break under all the delectable goods, especially after they've spent some time in the oven. Want to switch it up? Try piling your nacho toppings over kettle-style potato chips, or even using potato wedges!
No matter how you decide to make this dish, our cook and bake times won't steer you wrong. And if you're making these for a game day snack and craving more ideas, check out our absolute best Super Bowl recipes.
