#WeGrieveTogether 200K Gone Volunteer Signup
On September 16, 2020 at 12 p.m. CST, we will be flooding social media with content honoring people who have been lost to COVID-19. We will also be sharing resources for people who are grieving and info about how we arrived at this moment. We will need a lot of volunteers to make this event successful. If you would like to help us honor those we've lost, please let us know how you can help by filling out this form.

This event is being organized by Kelly Hayes (@mskellymhayes on Twitter) and the Lifted Voices collective. (More organizations and organizers will soon be added to this list.)

Note this event was originally scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on the 16th, but we are moving it to the afternoon, as some groups would like to participate during the day. Participating in the evening is still encouraged.

What is your name *
What is your preferred email address? *
Will you be able to post, available tweet or send emails about this event on September 16? *
Can you organize your own contingent of people who will tweet/post or email for this event? The teams can be volunteers from your organization, church, friend groups, family or other groups/communities you are a part of. Team members will be expected to post or tweet the event's content on the day of the event -- or email people to alert them that the event is happening/about to happen. Keep in mind that tweets can be scheduled. *
Are there names or a list of names that you would like to the list of names we are sharing for folks to uplift? This is just one aspect of this event and no one should feel pressured to add names or include the names of loved ones unless they feel moved to do so. These names may also be included in artwork honoring those who have been lost. *
We will be distributing some banners (for in-person use) of the primary image from this event to some friends and allies around the country to create COVID-19 memorial imagery anywhere that people are presently protesting (or are able to display the flag publicly in an outdoor space). Some photos of those moments will be included in the event. Are you able/interested in contributing funds to distribute to a greater number of these banners? If you cannot contribute any funds to this event, please know that this is only one small element of the event. If you indicate that you can donate, you will be contacted by an organizer about how you can do this.
