Description

As we prepare in-services for our Deaf & Hard of Hearing students' general education teachers this year, there are many new challenges to navigate in distance learning. These meetings may be done virtually, so we will need to have a way to easily share information about our students' hearing and accommodations.

This free fillable Google Slides file contains 2 slides:

1. A fillable form to describe your student's hearing, hearing assistive technology, IEP services, and IEP accommodations.

2. An infographic with tips for making distance learning accessible for DHH students and an area to add contact info for you and the audiologist.

Before your in-service with your student’s general education teacher, fill in the text boxes on both slides. Then, use these slides in a virtual meeting by sharing your screen. After the meeting, email it to the teacher so they can save it for future reference.

I hope this tool will help you as an Itinerant Teacher and the students you serve with navigating distance learning this year!
