OLLIE AND PIPER.

What else can I say? It's FINALLY time!
I've been anticipating telling you this story from the beginning!

I love these two people separately, and together? Well, there just couldn't be anyone else for either of them!

If you love
✓friends-to-lovers,
✓opposites attract,
✓a woman who can see past the surface to the guy underneath,
✓a guy who, once he falls, falls hard, and
✓yes, sweet, sexy, sticky fun with roasted marshmallows ;)
then you're going to love Gimme S'more!

Here's just a taste!

Piper Barry was in love with an amazing, brilliant, funny, good-looking man.
Who, at least twice a day, she wanted to smother with the stuffed dragon that sat on the corner of his desk.
Okay, maybe not smother. That was extreme.
But duct tape over his mouth? Oh yeah, she thought about that often.

Yep... that kind of sums it up ;)

I can't wait until January 19th and the next trip to Appleby, Iowa!

I laughed so much, I needed oxygen!!!

Gimme S’more, the final book in the Hot Cakes Series, was PERFECT!!! Sweet, funny, heart (and panty) melting. We got to know Ollie and Piper throughout the previous books in the series and I, for one, couldn’t wait for their story. Erin didn’t disappoint!!! But then again, she would never disappoint.

Piper is the executive assistant for the 5 Fluke, Inc. co-owners. She is strong, sweet, sassy, confident, and capable. They all rely on her, especially Oliver. He’s the nerdy and creative backbone to their company and the wildly popular video game he developed in college. He tends to get distracted easily, forgets “important” things. He has a hard time keeping his creative mind from becoming ‘unleashed’, and more often than not, a little clueless.

Piper, over the last few years has realized she is in love with Ollie and is frustrated that he doesn’t realize it. Finally quitting her job, she lays it on the line in a sweet, sexy scene and Ollie’s asks her to fall out of love with him and come back. Yeah, clueless… but Piper will help him to ‘get it’ with patience, love and humor. I will NEVER make another s’more without thinking of Piper and Ollie!!!! That was HOT, yeah I meant it that way.

Oh the wonderful feelings you'll get reading this book! I laughed, turned the page, and laughed some more. The growing friendship between Ollie and Drew (alpaca farmer) Ryan is hilarious as well. The love between Ollie and Piper was beautiful and sweet and I just had to hold my heart, as is the love between all the friends. The sexy times between Ollie and Piper scorched my kindle. 🔥🔥 Erin also tackles the subject of ADHD with sensitivity and a bit of humor. That hit close to home for me as I have a son with ADHD.

I’ve loved ALL of Erins’ books, but I am really sorry to see this series come to a close! I have loved each of the guys, their women, and Ollie and Piper’s story was the perfect culmination for Hot Cakes. Lots of love, lots of fun, lots of camaraderie, and a feel-good feeling throughout. I also love the wonderful easter egg of Kiera and Sophie from Opposites Attract series! I hope to see the folks of Appleby show up in other series as well. That will definitely make me smile!!!

5 It All Makes Sense Stars
* * * * * Spoiler Free-It's LIVE!!!
Oh, What The Hell, I LOVE THIS SERIES, PERIOD. I love Erin Nicholas and her creative mind. She has this way of presenting situations, creating compelling people, making you WANT to be friends with them and CARE about them, even when you are not reading about them.

Think about that for a minute. What person in Real Life doesn't wish that for themselves, to have those you know want to be your friends and care about you...Then think about what an accomplishment it is when authors are able to do just that with their characters in their books. It is not as easy as some authors make it look, either.

So my love for Erin Nicholas and this current series is serious.

We were given five guys who connected in college, each bringing something to the relationships they forged.
Two of them created a video game and the other three worked with them to market it, protect it, and make it all happen. They became brothers from other mothers and they loved each other unconditionally.

In this last entry, Gimme S'more brings into focus this support, caring, and love these guys have for each other. It is the foundation of who they are. We have been waiting for Ollie to wake up and understand he loves Piper and she loves him. It takes Piper making the decision to quit working for the guys and explaining when Ollie asks why that she loves him.

Ollie has been this character that has been the "Man/Child" of the group. He never remembers meetings, he is the creative force of the video game they sold for major bucks, and Piper is the glue that holds him together. He knows he will be lost without her and when she says she has to leave because of how she feels for him, his answer is to figure out a way for her to stop loving him.

What happens next is this journey Piper, and Ollie goes on. It is everything. It is revealing not only for Ollie but for Piper, too. It is this look at who people are and how they became the way they are, what needs they thought they would fulfill. How we can think we are doing things for another that is helping when it could be holding them back.

There is so much cover in this story and it was all handled so well. It was insightful, understandable, and made you think about how much we can impact another.

Oh, and the sexy times...Please, this is an Erin Nicholas book...Smokin', Delicious, and could I have S'mores, please...hahahahaha see how I did that!

So my love affair with Erin continues and you are so lucky to have all these books ready, just for you.

Holy moly.

ALL the superlatives.  Gimme S'more is all of them and more.

I was grinning like a loon the entire time I read this.  I love everybody SO much!  Piper and Ollie, ALL the secondary characters... I am totally in love and want to move to Appleby and be everyone's BFF forever.

Gimme S'more is the sixth and final book in Erin Nicholas's incredibly, consistently delicious Hot Cakes series, and that said, is absolutely stellar.

Piper Barry has worked for Oliver Caprinelli for years.  She's been in love with him for only the last two or so.  Originally hired to be Ollie's personal assistant, she's the smart, confident, expert wrangler of the five founders of Fluke, and her hard work has kept all of them not only functioning smoothly in their roles but also reinforced their friendship and ensured they've been well cared for.  But she's come to a watershed moment--continuing to be around Ollie while knowing he doesn't return her feelings is no longer tenable.  So, she bravely quits.

Ollie can't fathom working without Piper.  She's been the anchor, the safe landing, the linchpin... He comes up with a crazy idea, and knows she'll be there to help make it happen.  He can't imagine work life without her, and then...it dawns on him that maybe he can't imagine life, period, without her.

I've come to expect Erin Nicholas's superb characterizations--rich and well-written, Ollie and Piper and their friends and families leap off the page and into my heart.  Her characters are far from perfect, but that just makes them all the more real.  The plotting is captivating.  She deftly addresses real-world issues with compassion. creating people and situations that reflect the joys and challenges we readers can understand.

If I could I give Gimme S'more more than five stars, I absolutely would! I know I'll be re-reading Gimme S'more again and again!

This book has a wonderful blend of heart melting sweet, nose-snorting geekiness, and fan your face sexy. The story was the perfect way to end this yummy series. Piper and Ollie’s love story has all the feels - you’ll laugh, cry, grit your teeth, huff in frustration, and feel all warm and fuzzy at the end. Piper has been Ollie’s assistant for five years and it’s been obvious to everyone else that they have feelings for each other. Feelings that the two of them are not addressing - at least until the start of the book when Piper makes the choice to quit her job because she’s in love with Ollie. Ollie and Piper appear to be opposites on the surface which would seem to negate a good love match. Ollie is the creative genius of an entire video world. He’s impulsive, forgetful, and needs help sometimes just to remember to eat. Piper is the super organized, competent, always put together bombshell who seems to anticipate and fulfill everyone’s needs before they do. On their way to their HEA, Piper and Ollie find they have more in common than they thought, they want to make other people in their lives happy, they just appear to go about it in different ways. Together they’ll have to learn the best way to fit their lives together as they move forward professionally as well as personally. With Gimme S’more, Erin Nicholas once again proves she’s a fantastic storyteller - and the things you can do with s’more ingredients..whew that is hot.

This series has been so much fun and just so sweet and sexy! It is definitely one of my all time favorites by Erin Nicholas! And this was the most perfect couple to end it with! I just had a feeling from everything we already knew about Oliver from the other books in this series that he was going to be my favorite, and I was so right! I mean he is just adorable. Don't get me wrong, all the guys have been amazing but there is something so adorkably nerdy and special about Ollie. Not to mention he is sweet, sexy and brilliantly creative even if he is a little clueless at times! And Piper is absolutely amazing!! I feel like she can do anything! Which we also already knew somewhat, but to get to know her better and what she thinks and feels, and watch her interact with Ollie and put herself out there with him made her even more likable and lovable! She has been keeping him grounded for years, she just never expected to fall in love with him. And here is where the clueless part of Ollie comes in, he had no idea. So things needed to get shaken up! And boy did they ever! This is such a great story and Ollie and Piper make such a great couple as well as a great creative team as they both come to find out. I enjoyed every single moment of this oooey goooey sweet and sometimes sticky romance!! I am sad the series is over but it has definitely provided hours and hours of entertainment.

Oh my god, the love, the feels, the laughter!

To say that I have been anticipating Ollie and Piper’s story is a huuuge understatement, I have been waiting for them since book 1 and i am so happy they came right now cause it’s just what I needed to start the year on the right foot!

I relate a lot to Piper, we are both super organised, tend to take care of people with little gestures even without being too conscious of them, but i am yet to find my Ollie and if he is anything like this one, my god I cannot wait. Seeing him become self aware of why he cannot work without Piper and of his feelings was the most entertaining and endearing thing ever.
Seeing how he felt while taking care of the kids and running his imagination wild was amazing, I REALLY would like to try that obstacle course lol and his realising he is more capable than what he thought is pure gold.

I am so so sorry to see this series come to an end, it is one of my favourites series ever, but the two amazing references to other Erin’s books are consolation for anyone who feels withdrawal symptoms already.
Of course the first one to catch up on is Boys of the Bayou because hello! Paige and Mitch’s story is coming out next! And of course you already know them with Oh, Fudge, but to really understand what is going on when Piper calls Paige one simply has to read of the Bayou, otherwise you will not thoroughly enjoy it next. But this one I was expecting after the novella. What I did not expect was the mention of Kiera Connelly, the incredible and super interesting graphic designer heroine of the first book in the Opposite Attract series, Completely Yours. If you like geek heroines then you have to check this one out now!!

Wow! I don't know if I can actually put into words how much I love this book and these characters. I have been eagerly looking forward to Piper and Ollie's story for a year now. The sassy, long-suffering assistant, the brilliant but clueless boss, the secret, unrequited crush? Yes, I wanted all of that! What I got was that and so, so much more.
Ollie is one of my favorite kinds of heros, super smart but utterly lost in the real world. He is adorable and infuriating and super steamy hot. Piper is the heroine I wish I could be friends with in real life. Together they were absolutely amazing with their incredible chemistry, funny banter and so many emotions, I was laughing and crying by the end. Oh and the S'mores! (Just trust me!)
This is my favorite book of the series (which is saying A LOT because I've loved all of the books). There are some very interesting twists and revelations that had me turning pages long after I should have been in bed. When I did get to the end, I went right back and started again. It took me days to start a new book because I only wanted to read about Ollie and Piper. We may be done with the Hot Cakes series but I know I'll be rereading it many times in the future!

What a perfect ending to a wonderful series. Ollie's and Piper's story was like saving the best for last. Piper has been amazing throughout the series but now with a more in depth look to her personality, she's just awesome. And Ollie. He's just as awesome too. Together they were definitely hot but also adorable. They were the cutest couple! Loved how the Hot Cakes series wrapped up in the end. It was just perfect. Loved it so much. Seriously, I can't love this story or this series any more. A definite must read! Kinda sad to see this series end but I have a feeling this won't be the last time we see these amazing characters and this wonderful group of friends again. Wishful thinking on my part maybe, but I think Erin Nicholas won't let me down. I think she's got more in store for Appleby somehow.

Gimme Smore of these two. We finally get Ollie and Piper.
It was perfect. So much fun to read, plenty of laughs, plenty of swoon. Ollie didn't stand a chance, Piper was a force to be reckoned with. A great ending to a great series

I really giving it a try for Gimme S'more. To like it. To even finish it. The more I listen the more I get really uncomfortable. There is no triggers in the story but the the characters are just.... off.

Miss Nicholas does not give me reason or chemistry to like the characters. Ollie and Piper are 2 characters are said to be in love but they make their romance based on pity and a lot of feeling sorry for the other person. Just because the other person done one nice thing, the other must reciprocate. And when he/ she does not realize it, he/ she feels guilty over it.

I feel like reading a battle of sexes. The plot it self is not dramatic. Just a lot of self pitying.

Oh well...

I have been waiting for this story and am glad it is finally here. It was everything. I could not put it down. I read this book in one day. Piper and Ollie is everything. We watch them behind the other stories and I knew we was going to get a bang of a story. I almost don't want to get into to many details bc every part of this story you are going to want to read without someone else telling you how it goes. I wanted to high five Piper. In my mind I was cheering her the whole way. She really threw everything on the line this time. Ollie I was nudging and doing the famous forehead smack. Boy oh Boy when things get interesting. Hot and Hot. I didn't know Ollie could be so hot. There is even a few tears at the growth both make and to see the love they have for each other.
If you don't know anything about Erin's books know she can give you steamy, sexy and tender at time love scenes. Pick this book up and grab her other books. She will keep you reading all hours of the day and night.

Ollie & Piper's book is difinitely
worth the wait! I really enjoyed
reading this funny, sexy, charming
& moving romance.
Piper's feelings for Ollie can't take
much more. He doesn't seem to
notice her as a woman, only as his
amazing assistant. What will it take
to get Ollie to notice, Piper the woman.
I loved everything about this
Must Read Story!!

Wow! Just Wow!!! This is the 39th book that I have read by Erin Nicholas and I am more and more impressed with how good her books get - absolute perfection!

If you haven’t met the crew from Hot Cakes, then you have definitely been missing out! Ollie and Piper finally have their story play out. This can be read as a stand alone novel, but you are really missing out on an awesome series if you don’t start at book one and enjoy the ENTIRE series! All of the gang shows up in each story, so you develop a relationship with the characters and they become your best friends too.

Southerners have a well known saying, “well bless your heart.” That can either mean, “I sympathize so much with you,” or “OMGee, a biscuit has more sense than you,” or something equally unflattering. Oliver Caprinelli has got to be the most “well bless his heart" hero I’ve ever met, with both meanings in equal measure.

This book is bittersweet because it’s the last in a truly special series. We had to wait until the very end for the romance I was most looking forward to, watching the interplay between Ollie and Piper through the previous books. Of course, the anticipation for this one was high, and Nicholas did NOT disappoint!

We thought we knew Ollie and Piper from the other romances, but there is so, so much to these two. Their personalities are much more complex than I imagined, and I grew to love them so much more as their hopes and dreams, and their shortcomings and insecurities were revealed.

As always with a Nicholas book, this one is just so freakin’ adorable and so much fun it ought to be illegal! With lots of funny moments, more heat than a bonfire, and loads of yummy squeezes to the heart, this delightful, evocative, exceptional read is just what I needed. This is one you absolutely don’t want to miss. All the sweetness without the belly ache, you’ll definitely be asking for s'more!

Oh, man! It seems like I have waited forever for the story of Piper and Ollie. Piper has been in love with Ollie FOREVER, but Ollie is the completely oblivious type. He's a creative genius, but can't seem to do your average everyday things on his own. He's just your average guy with the incompetent knob turned up slightly (don't tell my husband I said that).
Ollie is actually my favorite guy of the series. He is so vulnerable and somehow so deeply affected by those around him while appearing oblivious. It takes Piper to see what is actually going on with Ollie and take steps to help him out. Meanwhile...Ollie's shaded glasses that he seems to wear around Piper are coming off. He's discovering minute by minute just how much he needs her. The question is whether it really is just need or if there's just as much want going on. Can he leave things the way they are or is he going to want s'more?
Erin Nicholas does romantic relationships better that turn you inside out and melt you into a somehow fluffy puddle. Ahhh.
I was given a complimentary copy of this book. All thoughts are my own.

From the beginning of the Hot Cakes series, I’ve been low-key obsessed with Piper. She’s the voice of reason and the glue that holds this together. I have been counting down the days until I finally get to see how she moves from the assistant that gets all of the things done to finally taking things to the next level with Ollie.

Ollie is one of those people who has his head in the clouds and would forget the basic functions of life if someone wasn’t coming behind him to remind him. He doesn’t even know how he takes his coffee or what his favorite muffins are. But watching him figure out how deep his feelings for Piper are, how much he values all of the relationships in his life, and how high his star could go was so much fun to read. Parts of this book absolutely broke my heart.

I have loved every second of this series and I am definitely going to miss Appleby but I will hold out hope that there are other residents that will get their HEA.

5 star review Gimme S'more (Hot Cakes #6) by Erin Nicholas

The sixth book in Ms. Nicholas Hot Cakes series and it was fabulous to be back in Appleby, Iowa. From the first to the last chapter I was riveted in Oliver (Ollie) Caprinelli and Piper Barry’s story.

Sometimes it’s hard to see the wood through the trees and that is what happens when Piper suddenly resigns. I couldn’t wait to read this story, it feels like I have been waiting forever for their story. This is a friends to lover’s story and is one that ticked the boxes for me as the chemistry between them sizzled.

Having worked for Ollie for years, Piper has finally had enough of her unrequited love and decides it is time to leave. Poor Ollie has no idea how he can survive without Piper. As Ollie comes to realize that there is more to his feelings than he realized, will Piper give him a chance and in doing so find a love that will last forever?

Gimme S’more was full of miss communication, romance, witty banter and a clueless male which made me laugh on numerous occasions. It was well written and was a great book to end the series with.

Erin Nicholas brings her Hot Cakes series to an end in fine fashion with Gimme S’More. This story of a super talented geeky video game creator with over the top ideas and his trusty assistant who has kept him reined in for the last 5 years has been much anticipated and Ms. Nicholas delivered a sweet, endearing, and sexy story her readers will gobble up much like the heroine’s favorite s’more treats. Ollie has been called a lot of things over the years; brilliant, crazy, fun, adrenaline junkie, creative, and clueless and he is all of those things but he’s also an adult living with ADHD. Anyone who reads my reviews knows I have mad love for Erin Nicholas and have for over a decade, but as someone who has lived with a husband and a son with ADHD, I’m just going to say I had a bit of a problem with how Ollie’s character was portrayed. That being said, I KNOW that ADHD presents itself differently in everyone but I also know that most people living with ADHD, once they get to a certain age, have learned how to manage it with behavioral techniques especially those who choose not to medicate, so while I always suspected this was part of Ollie’s problem, I was also a bit disappointed that he never took the initiative to figure out to manage his life with ADHD. Granted some of that was due to the co-dependent people in his life. I also understand that on top of his ADHD he is a creative person which in itself can present problems, so I did put a lot of things aside, but there are many, many adults in the world living with ADHD who a perfectly capable of running their own lives, staying on tasks at their jobs, and remembering appointments, special occasions, and other important aspects of life. I’ve adored Piper’s character since the minute she walked on the page; her no nonsense, take charge and can do attitude made her a bada$$ in my book especially given her age and the fact that she was working for five sexy, accomplished, and rich men. It’s been increasingly obvious as this series has gone on that Paige feels more for Ollie than that of an employee and while it is somewhat obvious to those around them Ollie hasn’t noticed, or didn’t want to notice because Ollie knows that Piper makes his life easier. I really did adore these two together and yes it took a big leap on Piper’s part to make Ollie wake up and see that she wanted more from him than being his assistant. I loved that she was working on a project that meant something to her and that she had good friends around to help her. Did she push Ollie into figuring out how to run his life? Yes, but honestly it was something that should have happened years before. The thing is because of his childhood, he didn’t have a strong foundation and he wasn’t sure of his ability to cope so instead he became dependent on others and that was perpetuated by his best friends. We saw great growth in Ollie during this book which I appreciated greatly, we also saw Piper realize that even though he had ADHD he could manage his life, he just needed some guidance AND he needed to be able to let his creative side be free. Gimme S’more was truly a lovely send-off for this sweet small town romance series, but I can only hope we’ll see more of the town of Appleby in the future, there’s still plenty of single men in it looking for love.

This is book 6 in the Hot Cakes series. I have been truly enjoying this series. I have been waiting for Ollie’s story since book one! His child like manner has intrigued me since book one. I knew Ollie and Piper would have a laugh out loud love story. Erin did not disappoint! This was fun, sexy and very entertaining. The banter between the boys did not disappoint the tight relationship between them personally and professionally has became stronger with every book. Piper finally telling Ollie her true feeling was so honest and raw. Ollie’s reaction was killing me I wanted to reach through the book and shake him. The chemistry between these two has been so enjoyable to watch it develop between each book. The way she cares for his every need, you can see how deeply she loves him. When Ollie is working with the other kids at the camp you can almost see the pride he has in himself that he he helping someone. This series has been very entertaining and I’m going to miss the Hot Cakes series. I have enjoyed getting to know this group of friends I will miss the hysterical banter and extremely strong friendships they share. Maybe Erin can do a wedding update book!!!

I highly recommend to preorder because this book is AMAZING!! Example is that I read this book twice in 4 days and I rarely reread books.

First of all this book is AMAZING and is giving me a book hangover! You know that feeling of complete contentment after reading a book and not wanting to leave the characters or the story because it's just so amazingly written? This is how I feel about this book. It's hilarious, sexy, sweet, and a whole lot of other adjectives that I just can't think of because I love this book so much. This book will make you smile and swoon and remember why you fell in love with the romantic comedy genre in the first place. I've read a lot of romantic comedies and this is one of the best ones out there in my opinion.

I started reading this author in December on a whim. I was looking at books I had on my kindle, you know the ones you see on Amazon for free or for $.99 and think why not while adding it, and found the first book of this series. I really liked it and continued with the series always waiting for Piper and Oliver's story because I knew it was going to be epic and Erin Nicholas did not disappoint.

Piper was the personal assistant to Oliver and has been in love with him for at least the last two, not that he's realized it. She wants more then to be his personal assistant and ends up giving her two week notice. Ollie doesn't know what he will do without Piper there to help him with everything. Oliver decides he's going to stick around Piper and make her fall out of love with him, but could he instead possibly fall in love with her?

I love Piper's character. She's sassy, sweet, funny, relatable and has amazing fashion sense. I seriously want some of her clothes from these books. Oliver is a creative genius, who needs to learn who he truly is and be able to fly on his own. I love how these two characters fit together. They make eachother better versions of themselves. I don't want to say much more, but I HIGHLY recommend reading this story. We met Piper and Oliver in Sugarcoated and as the books progressed I couldn't wait to read their story. Piper and Oliver's story was definitely worth the wait. This was the perfect conclusion to this series.

This is book 6 in the Hot Cakes Series and I was excited to be back in Appleby, Iowa and once again Ms Nicholas blew me away with her wonderful characters and a new story from the town I have grown to love. Oliver (Ollie) Caprinelli and Piper Barry’s story captivated from the first page to the last line and I really wanted more from the couple I fell hook, line and sinker for.
We don’t always see what’s right in front of our eyes and this friends to lovers romance starts off with Piper resigning because she can no longer work for the man she loves more than a friend should ever love a boss. Ollie has no idea how Piper feels and when she resigns he finds himself falling into a massive hole not only does this woman keep his business life on track he suddenly realises he feels a lot more than just friendship but will Piper give him a chance to prove himself......
This book ticked all my boxes, I smiled and I giggled, I swooned and I sighed but most importantly I fell hard and fast for this couple. I loved catching up with residents of Appleby and this was the perfect story to end the series on.

What a fabulous way to end a series. We finally got Ollie and Piper’s story and it was definitely worth the wait. Piper is such a sassy, knows who she is kind of woman and she was perfect for Ollie. Ollie was a creative dreamer and needed someone like Piper in his corner. After 5 years of working with Ollie and being in love with him almost half of that time Piper quit her job and it threw Ollie through a loop. Ollie didn’t know what to do without Piper there to keep him focused. It was wonderful to see Ollie’s eyes opened to the friendship and love that Piper had for him.
It was always fun seeing the dynamic between Ollie and Piper in all of the previous books and it was even better now. These two really were a great couple and were the perfect yin and yang. Piper really brought out the best of Ollie in terms of his creativity and he was able to be his best with her. And let’s not forget these two were very HOT! Seriously soo good!
It was great to see the Hot Cakes gang together again. All of these guys and the ladies have been fabulous and just an overall great series.

I just love it when a man realizes he just can't live without his woman by his side. In Ollie's case, Piper was not only his executive assistant but she kept him grounded and made him whole. And when Piper quit, he didn't know what to do. So he decides to go to her and have her around just so he can work. But that's when he realizes he cares for her more than a boss to an assistant. Piper is perfect for Ollie! This is a fantastic ending to this series. Erin Nicholas really saved the best for last!

I knew this story was going to be amazing. Epic. Sensational. Little did I know that these words just wouldn’t be enough in describing Piper and Ollie’s book.

There is a depth to this story that I didn’t see coming, at all. These two are just amazing together. I’ve never read a better opposite attract couple whose personalities melded so well.

I loved getting to know these two characters more, and seeing what really makes them tick. Their banter, their support, and their love for each other will have you laughing and give you warm fuzzies in all the right places.

The only downside to this story is it is the final story in the Hot Cakes series. While it was the perfect ending, all I can think is Gimme S'more of this amazing series! (All pun intended 😉) If you read one book this year, this needs to be it!

I went feral many times while reading this. Nicholas continually takes such wonderful characters and explores a relationship through inner conflicts with realistic drama and surrounds it all with lovely friendships.

I LOVED all ten of these wonderful characters and all their dynamics and relationships within the group and I am
absolutely going to miss all of them. My only wish was to see one final dinner at the McCaffreys with all of them in attendance. But otherwise - this was absolutely gold.

Talk about saving the best for last! Gimme S’mores was so captivating. I mean Ollie is so big and gorgeous and out there. Piper is smoking hot and her confidence and sass definitely pulls you in. She is the yin to Ollie’s yang. I love the way she took care of Ollie and his friends. The friendships , camaraderie and love they all felt for each other is what we all want to feel for our nearest and dearest. Even though she has loved him for years Piper realizes that to truly love Ollie she had to be willing to let him be free with his creativity while still being there to make sure things went smoothly and being at the campground made him see her differently and appreciate just how much he did need her to make his life complete. Once he took her out of the “do not touch” box the chemistry between them was hot and wild. And I feel s’mores should definitely be on the menu for dessert every night. It was so lovely to travel on the journey with them as they found their places in life and realize how much they complement each other. This is by far my favourite story in the series. Erin thank you for giving us another awesome series!

Piper's in love with one of her bosses, Ollie. He, in turn, is not in love with her. She's felt this way for two years, and he doesn't see her beyond being his assistant and babysitter, and she's done. So she quits. And tells him she loves him, all in one fell swoop. How does he take it? Not so well, actually. So not well that he decides to stick to her like glue so he prove to her she shouldn't be in love with her. Sounds like a plan. NOT. Because why on earth would being in close proximity work to convince someone they shouldn't be in love?!

OK, I have to admit here that Ollie drove me absolutely bonkers for the longest time. He was just so oblivious, in a not very cute or charming way, and I despaired that he'd ever get his head out of his ass. Piper was awesome, a damn saint, though, and I was rooting for her to get her man, idiotic though he was, the whole time. I've been loving this series, and Piper and Ollie fit perfectly in this funny, adorable series about the men who took over Hot Cakes, and the women who bring them to their knees.

Hands down one of my favourite Erin Nicholas book!! Opposites definitely attract with a organized, sticky note personal assistant Piper and her ADHD fun loving, scatter brained genius boss Oliver!! This book will keep you glued while Piper makes Oliver fall in love with her too!! When you find out that Oliver has ADHD you understand him more and why he is like he is!! You will learn a lot about someone with ADHD and how a person and his family and friends needs to learn to live with it. Going deeper into their story you enjoy the back and forth between them and watching these two really fall in love!! You will not be able to put this book down!! You will fall in love with this group of friends and their families and every one from Appleby!! Make sure you read this book and fall in love with this author Erin Nicholas!!!! She is definitely one of my go to authors!!!!
