Join in for an interactive and an engaging discussion with Dr. Becki Cohn-Vargas who is an independent consultant with over 35 years of experience as a teacher, principal, curriculum director, and superintendent. She focuses on educational equity, bullying prevention, and practical strategies for diverse populations in each setting. Her most recent book, Belonging and Inclusion in Identity Safe Schools: A Guide for Educational Leaders, was published on August 17, 2021. Twice, she was hosted at the White House by President Obama’s Education Staff to share her work on bullying prevention and inclusive schools. In addition, she has produced educational films and curriculum, working with over 150 schools across the U.S.
The session will conclude with a Guided Heartfulness Relaxation for all attendees.
