“How did you get in here?”

That’s not what you want to hear when you’re staring into the sea-green eyes of the hottest man you’ve ever seen. Yet I suppose it’s a fair question, considering I’m an uninvited stranger standing in Boone Mason’s kitchen.

If you think that’s bad—just wait. It gets worse.

This charming and wealthy playboy, who can’t pay his bills on time or find his way to the grocery store (but we all have flaws, right?), is sweet. Confident. Playful. He’s almost perfect. And, to make matters worse …

He’s smitten with me.

I know what you’re thinking. You’re rolling your eyes. You’re assuming this is some opposites attract situation—or that maybe we can be friends who turn into something more.

How can this be a bad thing?

Well, it’s simple. I’m not the kind of girl you fall in love with. Just to be sure, the universe reminds me of that in an unforgettable, in-your-face kind of way.

I might have broken into Boone’s house, but I won’t let him break my heart. I won’t break his either. There’s too much on the line to be that reckless.

I'll read anything Adriana writes! She never disappoints. Her characters are layered and deep and each one is different and so relatable.

Reckless is the 3rd Mason book and Boone and Jaxi are sweet, steamy, and full of laughter. Well written, hilarious, and with so MUCH HEART.

Boone is the ‘good time’ Mason. He’s fun, charming and up for anything anytime until Jaxi turns his world upside down. Their attraction to each other is undeniable from the start. Life decides to add a little extra to their budding relationship in the form of the cutest little girl. I can picture Rosie perfectly & I absolutely love how she has all of the Masons wrapped around her tiny finger.

The little family that Jaxi, Boone & Rosie have created is truly beautiful….but Adriana left me with questions y’all!!

I NEED to know more about Hollis & omg Oliver. July can’t get here quick enough.

Favorite quote:
“Let her think about things. A little time apart never hurt anyone.”  “Then what?”  “Then, tomorrow, you Boone swoon that sh!t.” —Boone swoon!! I love it🥰

Swooniest quote:
“I want to love you with reckless abandon.” “What do you mean?” He stares over my head and thinks. “I want to love you without caring about what other people think. I want to love you so hard that you can barely handle it. I want to love you so wildly that you never wonder, even for a second, if my heart is yours.”—seriously who doesn’t want their man to say things like that?!

So this is a story of essentially meeting someone and everything just falling into place or happening so that it sort of pushes you in the same direction. In this case it works for the characters. It’s even a little too smooth at times and that’s why Jaxi and Boone have their issues. Waiting for the other shoe to drop type of situation for sure.

Anyway. I don’t want to say too much, because it will definitely spoil some of the goodness of this read. Just be prepared to nod and smile and appreciate the sweetness that comes from this sort of insta-attraction that leads into forced proximity, and quick love.

I love the Mason family, and I am ready for more. Always!!

I think he is my favorite of this author. He is everything you could want. Funny, romantic, a gentleman, dependable, I could go on, but you should read it for yourself to feel all the reasons why he is perfect. This book is everything and I don’t say that lightly. It is full of emotions, but handled so well. The way they meet is priceless.

Once again Adriana Locke brings readers a sweet, sexy and fun story with great characters, fantastic chemistry and a lot of sexual tension.

Jaxi and Bonnes are so cute together, despite their relationship progressing almost instantly, their sexual attraction has been present since the first date is due to the circumstances I think despite their fast relationship I was convinced. I loved the jokes between them, the trust and support that exists between them and also the fact that they both matured during the book.

The book started with humor and suddenly there was a turnaround that I didn’t see coming that much the dynamics of the book and I really liked the direction that this story took only made the story more special and sweet for me, and provided great moments.

I loved meeting the Mason family again. It's a great group, with the potential for great stories and the ending is that Oliver's book is next and I can't wait to see what's next.

Eu adorei encontrar novamente a família Mason. É um ótimo grupo, com potencial para ótimas histórias e final dá uma deixa que o livro do Oliver é a próxima e mal posso esperar para ver o que vem por aí.

Wow, Adriana’s blown me away with this book, it’s shot its way to my favourite book by her so far, and one of my top reads of 2021. Reckless is a rollercoaster of emotions, full of sweet moments, heartbreak and about how sometimes, you need to take a leap and let go of the past in order to have a happy future. It’s the story of Jaxi Thorpe and Boone Mason, and is the third book in the Mason family series but is interconnected with other series created by Adriana, and I couldn't put it down.

When Boone gets a message from a neighbour that a woman has been seen breaking into his house through a bedroom window, he never expected the way that it would change his life forever. When he catches Jaxi in his kitchen, he realises she’s his neighbour’s cousin, who is in town for the week, before moving to Hawaii. Jaxi has been burnt one too many times and has decided the best thing to do is to start completely fresh. Before her new job, she visits Savannah to get her head together, and running into the gorgeous Boone Mason isn’t helping her achieve that. They dance around their attraction, but when she receives some life changing news, which throw all her plans into chaos, Boone is there to be her knight in shining armour, something she doesn’t want. Suddenly thrown into a life neither of them expected, can they make it work for real, or will their insecurities get in the way?

Adriana has to have written one of the most unique meet cutes ever, I loved the entire opening scene because it set up Jaxi and Boone’s dynamic quickly, you could see that he wanted to charm the pants off her and she just wasn’t the kind of girl he was used to. They developed this loose friendship, both intrigued by the other, but hesitant to pursue anything, because of the time limit but Jaxi was held back even further by the events of her past. But once everything was turned upside down, they had no choice but to let each other in, and that’s when everything changed between them. But something Adriana did so well was develop the feelings before anything more happened. They were vulnerable with one another, accepting of each other’s flaws and showed their insecurities wah before anything physical, which made their bond so much stronger to me, especially under the circumstances. Both of their character developments were so well written, because besides learning how to navigate this new life together, they learnt more about themselves too.

Jaxi’s past was dictating her future, after a childhood full of abuse and bad relationships, she decided that the common denominator was her and that she was incapable of being loved. But Boone was the one who made her consider more, and when her life was rocked, she suddenly had that unconditional love she had craved for so long. My heart broke for her, her automatic reaction to any kind of hurt was to shut down to protect her bruised heart, after years of conditioning herself to keep her guard up, but Boone broke that barrier down quickly. Her moment of realisation was amazing, because she came to it by herself, no one told her she had to change her outlook, she was the one who saw that to have a happy future, she had to see that Boone was not the same as those from her past.

Boone was the ultimate book boyfriend, the amount of times I swooned during this book was insane. He was charming, endearing, sweet and so stupidly sexy, that it wasn’t hard to fall right alongside Jaxi. But what put him as my favourite Adriana hero was how he stepped up when a responsibility that was not his entered his life. He was there in ways that no one expected, even himself, without a second thought, and his level of respect and good heartedness made him even more attractive. But his own vulnerabilities were also nearly his downfall, and the whole situation brought to light some feelings even he didn’t know he had, but with some tough love from his brother and mum, he soon realised that even that was going to stop him from getting the future, and girl, he wanted so badly.

The continuation of introducing the Mason family was really well interwoven into the plot, I am so ready to see each of the rest of the Mason brothers fall in love, I’m so excited for the elusive Oliver’s book next!

Reputation had all the emotions and heart-warming moments I expect from Adriana, but was also full of underlying messages, something she is so good at. I really love the world’s and family’s she creates, it’s like I am a part of the household when I read her books. I would highly recommend Reckless, it’s one of my favourite books of the year!

Boone Mason officially has my heart, ya'll!! OH MY GOODNESS, he's absolutely the most sweetest, kindest, sensitive, yet totally charming Mason yet. From the glimpses of what we've seen of him in the previous books, Boone didn't seem to have that much ambition beyond his next hookup and raiding his mom's fridge. His brothers never seem to have faith in him, and even though he is very much loved.. there was always this excuse of 'oh that's just Boone.' But you know what? There is so much of this amazing man that his own brothers don't see. His smart, (seriously smart), he has the biggest heart, he protects what is his, he's the epitome of a family man, of the kind of man you WANT as your own, and when he falls, man does he fall fast and hard. In a word, he is absolutely perfect, and I will be screaming this at the top of my lungs for whoever wants to listen: Boone is officially my favorite Mason!!!

In what is seriously my favorite meet cute of all times, Boone's leading lady Jaxi crawls into Boone's house and then proceeds to ask him what he's doing there -- until she realizes she crawled into the wrong house. Right away the chemistry between the two of them is just off the CHARTS. I had the biggest smile on my face the entire time they were interacting with one another, and seriously, Boone was making me swoon with every word that came out of his mouth. He seemed to truly soften something in Jaxi right away too, which just made my heart melt. This woman has been hurt and let down by everyone in her life, so she definitely has her guard up, but Boone makes her *want* to let him in. Even though she just met him. And when he becomes her safe place to land in the most unexpected way, they quickly (yet gradually? Idk, it's Addy. It makes sense.) fall into the most passionate, all consuming love. And I loved every minute of it!

This book was definitely more emotional than I was expecting, but ya'll.. it was just perfect. I know I keep saying it, but there's just not another word for it. The Boone Swoon is definitely a thing! ;)

Review: I absolutely adore the Mason family and every time we get a new book featuring one of them, my heart soars. In the last two books in the series - Restraint & Reputation , as well as Larissa’s book ( The Relationship Pact ), I fell in love with Boone.

He’s the unassuming brother, the one who is smart and sexy and doesn’t flaunt it. He just likes living a simple and uncomplicated life. Like his brothers, he’s lucky to have money and the means to live a good life and he doesn’t take it for granted. And when you see him in his own book, you actually start to love Boone even more. And then there’s Jaxi, who is an enigma, but a temptation nonetheless. She’s fire and softness and sex appeal and adorableness all wrapped in one. Jaxi is basically Boone’s kryptonite. They have the most hilarious and banter-filled meet cute which changes both their lives, obviously. But things are just getting started for them.

Everything that can go wrong for Jaxi goes wrong, her life is a mess and she’s been tossed around so much that she’s starting to just go with the flow instead of trying to wrap her head around why she’s going through all of this. Jaxi is a tough nut, though, and I loved that about her. She’s not one to sit back and let things just steamroll her, but at the same time, she just wants a break and a chance to catch her breath. And it’s no surprise that Boone is drawn to her, because she fits into his world perfectly.

While I enjoyed Jaxi and Boone’s banter, I didn’t really feel a connection to their relationship. I loved the two characters individually and as friends, but the relationship just felt like it didn’t work. Sure, there are a lot of things that set their relationship in motion and things beyond their control start happening, and yet, it felt rushed. Boone’s a good guy and he’s generous, kind and living his best life. Jaxi obviously doesn’t trust that entirely and it’s this underlying tension between them throughout the book. Which then comes to a head and everything explodes. The lack of communication between the two of them really did bother me, even if it all got sorted out, that break weighs on Jaxi’s lack of trust and it makes a mess of everything.

As always, the family scenes are the best. The brothers have the most entertaining relationship, but it also makes me curious about the two brothers we haven’t gotten books for yet. And then there’s Siggy Mason, the matriarch of the family, who is truly the best character ever. The Mason family is the kind of family you wished you were neighbours with, people you wished you knew personally and had in your life through the good and the bad times.

Adriana Locke’s brand of contemporary romance is totally my thing. She writes interesting and relatable characters, dealing with complicated and heart-wrenching issues and struggles, but she also adds her own magic with family love, humour, banter and incredible writing. Reckless is a good addition to the Mason family series and I look forward to seeing how things go for Oliver!

Amazon / Amazon Worldwide

Boone's the Mason who's never too serious, and never quite believes in himself. Then a whirlwind steals into his world and turns it upside down and inside out. Suddenly he's going to have to decide to believe in himself, and fight for what he wants most.

Jaxi has a lifetime of people doing wrong by her, telling her she's nothing. So when the best thing ever comes into her life, she doesn't believe she deserves him, doesn't believe he really wants her for longer than a minute. Can she take a leap of faith? Shut out all the negative voices that have always told her she's not good enough? Or will those demons get the best of her and put an end to the beautiful thing she and Boone have started?

I freaking loved Boone and Jaxi and Rosie! This is definitely my favorite Mason story - it's sweet and fun, sexy, and Rosie brings so much joy to an already fun story. But, because this is an Adriana Locke story, there's so much heart, too, and it's what really makes Reckless the best in the Mason Family series. Jaxi's backstory was heartbreaking, making it doubly hard for her and Boone to make a relationship work - two people with insecurities and demons, hard work definitely, to make that combination work. But of course they did, and I loved every page of it.

Reckless is the third book in the Mason Family series by Adriana Locke. You can read each book as standalone but I recommend reading the series since they are all tied together by family. And what a family it is! They are hilarious, supportive, and sweet in their own ways. This is Boone’s story...

He thought he was about to either be murdered or have a naked woman waiting in his bed. His mind was a mess when he got a call that a woman was climbing into his bedroom window when he wasn’t home. Who he didn’t expect was her. A stranger who brought him to his knees with one look. She was no murderer but she could very well break his heart if she didn’t give him the time of day. Turns out she will be living very close to him for the next week. He is charming but is he charming enough to get her to believe that he isn’t just some bachelor who was playing games?

Jaxi isn’t the type to fall in love. She wasn’t the girl who believed in fairy tales. That was her cousin. The one she was house sitting for. Soon, she would be gone and the man who says he is likes her will be gone too. She was a hot mess and didn’t make plans for the future. She did that and look where it landed her. But what if?...

I really can’t say anything more. I can say that Boone is hilarious, sweet, and way more than just a playboy who hates to work. And Jaxi is stronger than she believes. I enjoyed their story soooo much. It’s adorable, flirty, funny and full of family. I am looking forward to the next book.

Quotes:

“If I get murdered, I fully expect you to sing hymns at my funeral,” I say. “Make it sappy and super over-the-top, or I’ll haunt you.” “You’re not getting murdered, dumbass. Settle down.”

“We’re going to have fun, aren’t we?”

He tastes like cinnamon and syrup. Heat and spice. Passion and hunger.

My Review 💛💛💛💛💛

Just when I think I can’t love Boone Micheal Mason anymore you go an make him even better Adriana Locke - he was so worth the wait 💕

Boone Micheal Mason what can you say about this sweet southern man that hasn’t been told. A heart of gold and the comedian of the Mason boys. He may be the toughest but his brothers better take notice when he talks because he got a lot of put into the works.

Jaxi Thorpe is a girl just looking for her place in life and little did she know that she might find it on a southern town climbing through what she thought was her cousins window. The girl that didn’t trust and was always looked down on an made to feel unwanted finally starts to see herself as someone worth being loved.

Yep that’s right you can’t get a better opening for two people to meet and only Boone would have a girl climb in his window an not think is 100 percent out of character for him.

I loved the twist in this book and the great connections that are made along the way. To say it take a village is a great way to put it in this book because it did.

Boone has held a special place in my heart the last 2 books waiting for his turn and I’m so glad I was able to read this book early.

Must read book in the Mason Family Series - * I received this book as an arc for my honest review.

Oh my goodness! Be prepared to swoon over this one!
I want to gush about this so much but to do so would possibly spoil one of the major surprises in this book.
Adriana Locke did an amazing job with Boone's story! It's sweet, it's funny, and it gets emotional at times.
Oh! I want to be Siggy in 10 - 15 years. I love her and her ability to handle all her boys.
I really enjoyed this one and I can't wait to see what's in store with the next Mason sibling.

The Boone Swoon is real Y’all!!

Who knew you could meet your soulmate by accidentally breaking into their house? Jaxi and Boone’s meet cute in this story was so fun and really had me hooked from the start. A friends to lovers story with a special twist that really tugged at my heart strings. You never know when fate will put you in the right place at just the right time and their story proves just that! Their romance builds slowly but there is that initial spark of attraction that carries throughout.

“You get one life. If you know what you want, and who you want to spend even a day of it with, you should do that.”

Boone is a bachelor extraordinaire, never working too hard or having commitments that keep him tied down but when Jaxi breaks her way into his heart and home, his world gets flipped like he never could have expected. His total opposite, Jaxi’s life has never been easy and just when she seems to be making changes for the better, she gets a surprise that alters her trajectory once again. I appreciated how she handled everything that came her way, even if she had past issues to overcome, she gave it her all even if it scared her. And let me tell you Boone was just the sweetest with Jaxi, dropping everything to step up and be the man to show her how she deserved to be treated always. The Boone Swoon is real

Well that was probably one of the best ways to spend a day. I get so excited when I hear that Adriana Locke has a new book out, I don’t read any blurbs, I don’t look at any teasers, I just know that it’s going to be amazing! And I’m not wrong!

Adriana writes romance like no other, her stories are so much more than about two people, they are about the family that supports and loves them as well. This is a beautiful story about two people that do not know their own worth and how by finding each other they come to realize they they are both worthy.

This is a slow burn, but it still gets pretty hot! With usual Adriana style this story gives us glimpses of the other Masons and introduces a new special character that will be sure to keep Boone on his best behavior.

This is a standalone but I can honestly say you are missing out if you don’t read all of the Mason books! Trust me on this one!

Freaking loved every page of Boone and Jaxi's story. Their story was beautifully written and heartfelt. How they met was priceless, lots of LOL moment's while reading their story. Boone has such a big heart and it was very clear how much he loves his brothers. I don't want to give anything away, but I will say Boone is freaking awesome!!

Boone Mason is my new favorite!! Well maybe he’s tied with Cord in my heart. But still. Boone is everything I wanted him to be. And everything I knew he could be from already knowing him. Boone doesn’t think he contributes in his family or life. Let me tell you, this man does! He goes above and beyond for them and now for Jaxi. And their meeting was one of my favorite meetings ever too! So stinking funny! Basically this book has everything I’ve come to know and love when it comes to Ms. Locke’s books. And now I can’t wait to find out what happens next!!

This is sooo adorable! Party boy meets down on luck neighbor? Sign me up! I thought this was hilarious and so stinkin sweet at times.
Rosie is what really pushes this novel over the top. She is left with her after her her mom dies, Jaxi.
Jaxi is struggling, emotionally and with most aspects of her life. Enter Boone, the youngest of 5 boys, he's the baby and acts like it. The two together were highly addicting. However the 3 of them are what makes this novel great.
It was nice getting to see the other characters in this series too. I can't wait for more!!!

I love Bonne Mason. I liked him as a side character, but reading his story, watching him show layers of his personality, some that probably not even him knew he had, was enlightening and entertaining. I didn't think about his story ahead , because I like going in blind, but with Reckless I can honestly say Adriana managed to make me stop and say " I didn't see that coming!!!!". I'm not going to write about the plot, the only thing I'm going to say is that this is a slow burn romance, which makes the story even more perfect! Jaxi is the perfect girl for him, I won't say why, again I don't want to give away the plot, but she's exactly what he needed but didn't know it until she fell into his life. This story flowed effortlessly, it was so good, I was reading and then I saw I'm way past the half of it , and I was wondering how that happened. So Bonne lovers, prepare yourself, he's going to leave you dizzy with happiness!

Took me forever to get into this. Liked Boone but he was wasted on this heroine. She was just some poor girl in need that he helped out. Not sure where the spark was... just an under developed story from this author. It got better at the end but really I feel like Boone will regret getting this deep into it with her and they will end up divorced in a couple of years, you know, if this were real life.

Reckless has some angst and Boone makes it worth it

What you need to know about “Reckless”:
✔ Opposites Attract
✔ Dual Point of View
✔ Romantic Comedy
✔ Boone Mason, wealthy playboy
✔ Jaxi Thorpe, down-on her-luck and between jobs
✔ Forced Proximity
✔ Big Surprise
✔ Can be read as a Complete Standalone
✔ Mason Family #3

Boone Mason and Jaxi Thorpe’s meet cute is a little unorthodox but completely adorable. Their chemistry is evident from the first time they smile at each other. They’re attracted, perhaps, at first, Boone more so than Jaxi. Jaxi doesn’t want any complications in her life. She just escaped a bad situation and she’s leaving to work in Hawaii in a week.

Boone is a calm and funny and inherently kind man. Jaxi is a little suspicious of kindness as she’s been beaten down by life in a variety of ways.

As events quickly develop and are set to overcome Jaxi, Boone steps in and helps her with no questions asked. He has always floated through life only doing the bare minimum but Jaxi inspires Boone to start embracing his true capabilities. Boone inspires Jaxi to learn to trust her heart more and the love that is offered to her.

Reckless was an emotional but pleasurable read. The pacing was very good, the story pulls you right along. The characters are all incredibly likeable and the Mason family is warm and embracing of everyone. There is angst involved with Jaxi’s life and the events that occur, but it is resolved in the best way. Reckless is the light and fun read filled with family and warmth that we could all use right now.

WRITING STYLE: 4/5
PLOT: 4/5
WORLD-BUILDING: 4/5
PACING: 4/5
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT: 4/5
ROMANCE: 4/5
HEAT: 5/5

Okay, so I received an ARC for an honest review of Adriana Locke’s Reckless. I hate writing that phrase, and you’ll rarely see me write it into my reviews because...I don’t think it matters to say that. Anyways, I received this ARC kind of late, and I was worried that I wouldn’t finish it in time for its release day, but ever since meeting Hollis in Locke’s The Relationship Pact, I’ve become fairly obsessed with the Mason family. On finishing that book, I went back and read Holt and Blaire’s story which led me to Coy and Bellamy’s story, and honestly, I thought I’d like Boone’s story, but I had fallen in love with Coy and Bells so it seemed like jumping that high bar would be impossible. Except….except that it wasn’t.

To borrow from Boone Michael Mason…”Boone is my top Mason brother.” Seriously. There was an inkling, though, that I was going to fall in love with Boone because, as you read him in Hollis and Coy’s stories, there is a way about Boone. Yes, he’s erstwhile and seemingly impetuous, but there is a measure that Boone connects with people that the other Mason brothers can’t top. Adriana Locke’s Reckless takes the space to show the real Boone, the one who is offered in shades in earlier Mason family stories, and it’s glorious when Boone comes into the full realization of himself in this book. In fact, it’s the true joy of Reckless. Even more, it comes at the guidance of my favorite character of the Mason family, his mother Siggy. As a side note: I love how Locke has drawn Siggy in the Mason family stories. While she is the wizened mother, she is also cool, hip, insightful, and she cares deeply for her children and their significant others.

Now, back to my initial comment at the beginning of this review, I didn’t think that I would finish this book before its release date, but in true Locke form, it was IMPOSSIBLE to put it down. And let me tell you, my weekends are no longer bastions of freedom. Therefore, I had to sneak little reads here and there when I really wanted to sit and inhale Boone and his heroine, Jaxi. I will say that the beginning felt a bit slow; however, there is a moment early on when it’s too hard to put their story down. If you’ve spent any time with the Masons, then you know that their family unit is a melange of smarta$$ery, compassion, and love. All of these traits conspire to bring you some of Locke’s best stories, in my opinion.

Even more, Jaxi’s characterization does not pale in comparison to Boone. As he is working through understanding himself, Jaxi is doing the same. They just happen to do it together. There is so much I would love to say about her story, but to do so would divulge the secrets of this romance. I refuse to spoil this book for anyone.

On a final note, I will say that I adore the way in which Adriana Locke feeds angst and seriousness to her readers. I’ve found that those feelings tinge her stories, but never overpower them. Instead, they create the right amount of tension to keep her readers (readers like me) engrossed in her books. That seems to be Locke’s superpower, and you see it illustrated well in Reckless.

I’d like to say that Boone will maintain his spot at the top of the Mason Brothers list, but as we see in his own story as his brothers move up and down his list, I think Oliver and Wade Mason may give him a run for the top spot.

Adriana Locke never ceases to amaze me, but there was something extra special about Reckless, these characters have embedded themselves deep inside my heart.

Jaxi is sassy, quick witted, and as much as she might try to guard her heart there’s nobody in the world that wouldn’t swoon over Boone. Boone is charming, sweet, and oh, so swoony.

Jaxi and Boone’s meet cute is more of a, “breaking and entering, meet” but I couldn’t imagine anything more perfect for them. In their very first exchange they immediately begin to banter with one another that makes it feel as if they’ve known one another forever.

Their chemistry is intoxicating, a slow-burn that starts the moment they meet, and burns hotter on every page. I felt like I was right there with them as they fell head over heels in love with one another. They went from strangers to this partnership seamlessly, I really felt as if they were always meant for one another.

It only took a few pages, reality vanished, and I was engulfed by The Mason Family world. Every book in this series makes me feel as though I’m visiting family, but Jaxi and Boone’s story grabbed my heart, and are now entangled in the deepest parts of me.

Reckless is a rapt blend of an intoxicating slow-burn, a sassy Jaxi, a swoony Boone, flawless witty banter, heaps of feels, from heartwarming to heartbreaking, brothers that push each other's buttons continuously, but love one another unconditionally, a mom that balances meddling in her adult son’s life, and still having the ability to scare them, she’s the mom I aspire to be.

My heart just cannot take this much romance goodness from Adriana Locke. It is not equipped to handle this level of swoon and feels. Reckless is a full on entertaining, witty, emotional and unforgettable romance.

Boone Mason is the playboy of Mason family. The brother no one takes seriously. He is happy with his commitment free and simple life. Unless Jaxi, his neighbour's cousin breaks into his home by mistake. And he is instantly attracted to her. But Jaxi had a rough life that made her doubt everything. Even when Boone is trying hard to earn her trust. Is Boone ready fo all the baggages coming with Jaxi?

My heart is full of "Boon swoon" effect. Seriously. These Mason brothers will be the death of me. Boone carries an easy charming confidence. He makes everyone smile. He may not appear serious but he is loyal and dedicated to the extremes. He has the biggest heart ever. And that only adds to his irresistible sex appeal. Who won't fall in love with a man who decides to take such a good care of a woman he barely knows? Well apparently Jaxi had this trouble. And I don't blame her at all. Till now everyone in her life disappointed her and hurt her. She is lost and now she suddenly has so many new responsibilities including her long lost niece Rosie. It would be so easy for her to rely on Boone blindly but she had to be cautious for her heart and also an innocent kid's heart. They had an electrifying chemistry and it was burning bright. It was an uphill struggle for them. For Boone to become committed and make Jaxi believe it. For Jaxi to let her guards down and be happy recklessly. There was angst. Some heartbreak. Slow burn delicious ness. Feels, feels and feels. Also Rosie is the cutest kid ever! And be ready to feel all the warm, fuzzy and hilarious Mason family magic!

Reckless by Adriana Locke made me fall in love instantly. My heart cannot contain all the heartwarming feels and I am still high on the emotions.

I love everything about the Mason Brothers and Boone and Jaxi story is a perfect addition to this wonderful series. Reckless is book 3 in the Mason Family Series but I believe it can read and enjoy as a stand-alone although I’m sure once you meet one of these brothers you will want to get to know the rest of the family.
What starts off as Jaxi breaking into the wrong house soon turns into a romance that will touch you on so many levels. Boone is the youngest playboy of the Mason brothers, he lives life to the full and at times forgets to play his bills or make trips to the grocery store but that just adds to his charm and when he announces he would like to be friends with the woman who mistakenly broke into his house the fun and games really begin. . Jaxi is not looking for a man or a relationship but there is no denying Boone is easy on the eyes but will this be yet another man who breaks her heart.
That’s not gonna happen if she has any say in the matter because she has to much on her plate to be
reckless......
Strangers to friends to lovers makes this an entertaining, enjoyable, fun read, the characters are easy to relate to and the banter is witty but what takes this book to another level is the arrival of an adorable little girl called Rosie who almost stole the show with the classic one liners only a child delivers well. Rosie will certainly pull on your heartstrings but I’m sure like me you will also fall for Boone and Jaxi. This book ticked all my boxes, I smiled, I swooned, I giggled and fell hook, line and sinker for this couple and their story, this is a great addition to a wonderful series because no one gets small town romance and family loyalty quite like Adriana Locke.

Reckless is pure fun and defines how instant attraction can turn into so much more.
Boone is the youngest of the Mason siblings and is a great example of how someone can have depths that are unexpected. After meeting him in the first two books of the series, it was fun to see him show signs of becoming a true grown up.

Jaxi is someone that literally falls in to Boone’s life. She and the complications that end up coming with her turn his life upside down. I loved seeing how Boone and Jaxi changed each other for the better.

Reckless is a great example of Ms Locke’s family centric romance. The Mason siblings play a big part of the secondary cast and help Boone navigate the changes in his life so that he and Jaxi have the best chance for a happily ever after.

My one complaint about Reckless actually has nothing to do with the writing or the story - it’s the cover for Reckless. While it fits with the series, the couple on the cover doesn’t really scream Boone and Jaxi to me. I know the cover of a book is a silly thing to be bothered by, but I can’t help it.

I genuinely liked Boone and Jaxi (and a surprise character you have to read to meet). Getting to see more of Oliver and Wade (the remaining brothers) and getting to meet Jaxi’s cousin Libby has me curious about what may be coming next for the series.

All the stars for this story. It’s that good!!!

Reckless by Adrian Locke, shows a lot of emotional strength from this amazing author. Life has thrown her lemons in the past year, and she’s managed to make the most delicious of swoony lemonade in the form of this book.
Boone and Jaxi are just… PERFECT!!!
A perfect antidote to the troubles of the world. The perfect escape into a book that I’ve had in a long time. The perfect story. The perfect couple.
But…
They had a not-so-perfect start to their relationship. It was chaotic and crazy. Zingy and snappy. Laugh out loud and happy-go-lucky, with just a tincey-tiny amount of angst.
I loved this story. Loved this couple and I absolutely adored little Rosie. And Wade. and Oliver!!! Coy and Holt too, but they’re taken.
If you want to finish a book with a smile lighting up your face, then One-Click Reckless today. I promise you won’t be sorry.
