Blue Tansy Oil Uses and Benefits

Blue tansy—also referred to as Moroccan tansy—is an annual, yellow-flowered Mediterranean plant found in northern Morocco. Steam distilled to perfection, this plant yields a rich and decadent essential oil with abundant benefits.

Chamazulene, a chemical component in Blue Tansy essential oil, provides the oil’s characteristic indigo color. Camphor, another chemical component, may soothe the skin when applied topically. And the sabinene content may help promote the appearance of healthy, glowing skin. When diffused, Blue Tansy essential oil fills any room with a sweet aroma.

Blue Tansy is very pleasing on its own, but it’s also a key ingredient in several of your favourite doTERRA products, including Deep Blue® essential oil blend, Balance® essential oil blend, and doTERRA Essential Skincare Eye Cream.
