Leilani Correa Earns Spot on BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Correa helped lift the Johnnies to conference victory over Butler on Saturday

For the fourth time this season, Leilani Correa has earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, it was announced today by the league office.
 
The 6-foot guard claimed her second double-double in as many games, recording a team-high 20 points and 10 rebounds in Saturday's win over Butler. Dating back to last season, Correa has now scored 20 or more points in five of her last 10 games.
 
The Manchester, N.J., native leads the Johnnies in scoring this season with 21.1 points per game to sit second overall in the conference and inside the top-25 in the NCAA.
 
In addition to her stellar scoring output, Correa is also averaging 5.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists and a team-best 1.9 steals per game this year.
 
The Johnnies will return to action on Wednesday when the team travels to Chicago for matchup with No. 20/22 DePaul. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET on FS2.
