The C40 Jevington Road is the only link road between Polegate/Willingdon and East Dean. This important road is well used and serves one of the largest parishes in the south east.
We have been endlessly reporting damaged areas and potholes on this road to County Highways for the last few years. The latest set of repairs was undertaken on 25 February 2021, however the standard of these works was insufficient as per previous occasions such that drivers reported no improvements with the existing pothole and damage issues remaining.
