Women's Circle + Yoga Nidra for Creativity
SUN APR 21, 3 - 5 PM EDT (SUN APR 21, 3 - 5 PM EDT)

"Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes, and having fun."
~ Mary Lou Cook

Spring is upon us and as we witness the rebirth of nature, we are also being invited to tap into our own creative renewal. Join Emily Toledo (@whole.sum.living) and Sarah Eiler (@deeprestyoga) for an inspired afternoon of connecting to our creative centers, tapping into the deep well of inspiration within, and enjoying a restorative yoga nidra practice.

Yoga nidra, or yogic sleep, is a deep relaxation technique that takes the practitioner into a state of conscious sleep where the body is completely relaxed, yet the mind remains awake and alert. In this threshold between wakefulness and dreaming, the subconscious mind is most receptive. This makes deep-seated transformative work possible.

The women’s circle is an ancient practice. With a fire at the center, our earliest ancestors circled around its warmth, told stories, shared meals, honored the gods and goddesses, and danced under the stars. When we participate in a women’s circle, we carry on the tradition of our lineage by forming a sacred community to celebrate the feminine and support each other.

In this supportive circle, we will participate in meditation, breathwork, and gentle seated movement to connect to the physical body, we will cultivate connection to our deepest, most intuitive selves, we will explore creativity, and we will tap into the creative renewal that is ready to be born.
