3 things for you: šŸŒŸ Hereā€™s more about me. I share quite a bit about my professional life here. Iā€™d like to give you a glimpse into my existence away from work. Here are 3 quick things to know: šŸŒŸ I grew up in a town that had an active drive-in theater. I also enjoyed going to movie theaters as a kid. I became an expert at sneaking in candy. (My greatest accomplishment was stuffing a chocolate rabbit inside my sock. šŸ˜…) Since 2020, though, Iā€™ve visited a movie theater only once. Now I watch movies using Netflix, Disney+, or HBO Max. I donā€™t miss going to movie theaters as much as I thought I would. šŸŒŸ We took a road trip to a small town in north Georgia over the weekend. Itā€™s interesting how we gravitate toward the same stores as tourists, regardless of the destination. We enjoy visiting small shops that sell coffee or chocolate. Sometimes, weā€™ll do a wine tasting as well. If weā€™re staying somewhere for multiple days, a round of miniature golf is usually involved. šŸŒŸ Here are my favorite chocolate items to buy, ranked: 1. Turtles, 2. Toffee, 3. Fudge. 1. I like waking up extra early but I forget that when I try to. 2. Now that my daughter is getting bigger, she notices if we eat her leftover holiday treats. I had to cover for my husband when he dispatched a chocolate bunny this Easter. 3. We uber eats too much because I donā€™t like cooking and my husband, who loves to cook, objects to having to use our tiny apartment kitchen.

I LOVE drive-in movies!!! Growing up outside of Cleveland I would try to go every summer as a teen! It is THE MOST fun in my opinion. Once working a theater contract in MI we drove out to a drive-in on one of the 4 days off we got that summer. The Percy Jackson movie was playing and I think Pirates of the Caribbean, like 12 or something. šŸ˜‚ It didn't even matter what they were showing I just wanted to go. I highly recommend seeing things in theaters now and then. I'm like you and mostly watch at home these days but the experience of seeing certain things at the movies is SO GREAT. BUT it has to be the right thing... like the new Spiderman Into the Multiverse film or we saw EEAAO in theaters and 10/10 recommend seeing that on the big screen if you can.
