'Forever The Sickest Kids' took Birmingham by storm on their recent support slot for 'You Me At Six'. From the first song the band encapsulated the audience and the performance they gave was one that will be difficult for support bands to beat.

From first song, the crowd were already singing along. Clearly the band were a good choice to support You Me At Six.

The band notice the crowd interaction and show appreciation immediately to the crowd, this is a point that is made throughout the set and the band always make sure the crowd are a part of their show. This interaction makes a huge difference and it shows that acknowledging the crowd doesnt go unnoticed.

One thing that's certain, the band are definitely an energetic group. From the first song they empower the stage, gaining a crowd reaction as if the band are half way through a full set, nevermind the first song of a support slot!

Caleb Turman throughout the bands set, plays a leading part in the keeping crowd in good spirits, seeming to be the bands entertainer of the show and encouraging the crowd to have the best time they possibly can. The only other thing the crowd could possibly want is more. Kyle Burns(drums) is also focussed throughout set keeping the band in perfect time.

Jonathan Cook, lead singer, also continuously kept the crowd active and energetic, filling the venue with excitement and liveliness. Kent Garrison (keyboard) despite his stance is also jumping about the stage, as if the keyboard in front of him no longer exists, breaking the barrier between him and the audience. He also attempts to show the crowd his impressionist side, on that note it's safe to say keyboard playing is what he should stick at!

By the 3rd song into the bands set, the crowd no longer need the bands encouragement , they are singing along unaided. At this moment, the other band members seem to waken into the energetic spirit also.

'Woah Oh (Me Vs Everyone)' was certainly the best received song by the audience. Not a single person cant resist jumping and singing along with the hyperactive American guys, anticipating their next move. The band never loose their energy, keeping their stage presence at the highest possible level, they seem to never exhaust from their performance, despite putting 100 percent into every note sung and every chord played.

The band also show appreciation towards the main band they are supporting – this of course is a little gesture, but goes a long way as these days its rare to see such politeness from a band genuinely acknowledging the lead band.

By the bands last song the crowd seem to not want them to exit the stage, begging for more. The fact that even the seated guests can't help but join in proves this point.

On the final song the band create some finale, Jonathan Cook climbed up to the balcony and made a dive off this into the crowd. Perhaps, this could just have been the perfect finish to a set which was overflowing with a continuous supply of energy the band held.

Forever The Sickest Kids couldn't have put together a better set if they tried. The crowd clearly showed that a UK tour by the band this year would be highly appreciated and is certain to be a hit.
