Description

The Department of Arts & Humanities is thrilled to host its last A&H in the City event of the season on Wednesday, June 8th, from 6pm-9pm at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. The event will focus on the Schomburg’s pop up exhibit Immigration, Migration, and the Transformation of the African-American Community in the 20th and 21st Centuries. Attendees will be led in interactive activities by Schomburg scholars and TC faculty Ernest Morrell (English Education & Director, Institute for Urban and Minority Education), Ansley Erickson (History & Education), and Monique Lane (IUME Postdoc Fellow). A light dinner will be served.

The event is FREE, but space for this event is limited and you must RSVP.
