We’re looking for 30 community members to volunteer at the Austin ISD Service Center on Saturday, Oct. 2 either between 8-11 a.m. or 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Thank you for volunteering on "Build a Table" day! Please use this form to share how you will participate. To build, please bring a cordless drill, screwdriver, work gloves, and measuring tape and know how to use them. Also, please dress appropriately for the weather, bring your reusable water bottle, sun screen, and wear closed-toe shoes. Work will be performed outdoors under a shade tent and/or in the woodshop that is open to the outdoors. Restrooms and a water bottle refill station will be available on-site.

Public transportation available with CapMetro’s Trip Planner (https://www.capmetro.org/planner/). The bus stop ID 6297 located at 4918 Springdale and 51st is a 0.3 mile (9 minute walk) from the event address 5101 East 51st Street. The event is outdoors, in the Service Center parking lot and under tent canopy shading.
