As we reflect on an incredible 2019, we here at Tiltify wanted to pay tribute to the amazing content creators that made this year in Charity one we will never forget. From creators brand new to using Tiltify to those that have been with us since the beginning, your ability to rally your communities together for incredible causes is the reason why we exist: you inspire us to continue to build the best fundraising platform on the Internet for creators to best engage their communities — and, for that, we thank you.

It’s also the reason why we’ve decided to highlight the Top 30 Highest Individual Fundraisers for 2019! While we’d love to do a Top 50 or even 100… for the Top 30 alone, it has been a 60+ hour labor of love to make sure we did each person, and their communities, justice. But know that we love each and every one of you and will always appreciate the efforts you and your communities put into every single campaign. For every beanboozled jellybean consumed and fish slap endured, we salute you all ♥

This year in fundraising was, by far, our biggest year ever on Tiltify with nearly 18,000 individual campaigns created this year and a vast majority of them hitting their initial fundraising goals! Our Top 30 Highest Individual Fundraisers alone have raised 8.9 million dollars in 1000 hours of live fundraising time. To put that into perspective: if you took all of these fundraisers, added them together, and divided them by the total amount of hours they livestreamed their fundraisers for, they averaged $8900 per hour — or $148 per minute.

We hope you take the time to appreciate all of these creators and their communities in our Top 30 Countdown — check out their channels — and help us celebrate all of their achievements this year :)

We will also be updating this same blog post each day with the new communities in our Top 30, so feel free to set a bookmark and check back daily to see where some of your favorite content creators and their communities land on our Top 30 list!

30. Mr_Mammal

TwitchYouTubeTwitter

Mr_Mammal is an incredibly successful content creator, known for his Old School RuneScape content on both Twitch and YouTube. Back in July, Mr_Mammal set out to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which is an organization that is leading the way the world understands, treats, and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

In a singular, 24 hour broadcast, Mr_Mammal and his entire community were able to raise $26,264 dollars for St. Jude, which is an incredible amount of money for such a short amount of time! His community’s efforts have earned him a spot in our Top 30, which is something we know Mr_Mammal and the entire OSRS community are proud of (and we are, too!)

Thank you again, Mr_Mammal, for choosing Tiltify as your home for charity fundraising this year. We hope to see you rally the OSRS troops again next year and show the world why OSRS is one of the best communities around!

29. CrankGameplays

YouTubeTwitchTwitter

As a content creator for the past 7 years, Crank (otherwise known as Ethan) has been a super successful YouTuber that is no stranger to the charity fundraising scene. As a dear friend to markiplier and many others in the space, Ethan has appeared as a special guest on numerous charity fundraisers throughout the year, helping them achieve hundreds of thousands of dollars in their own respect.

In April 2019, Ethan did his own 12 hour fundraiser for Crisis Text Line — which is a text-based service that provides free, 24/7 support for people in crisis. Over the course of those 12 hours, Ethan would write names all over his body and play games with his community, which amassed $26,633!

But as we mentioned before, Ethan has been involved in so many other fundraisers that it’s hard to place him 29th on our most fundraised list of 2019. His contributions to charity events like the Red Nose Day Nose Bowl — where he got to sing Tribute alongside Jack Black and MikeTheBard — definitely puts Ethan much higher than 29th in our hearts. But we love you either way, Ethan! Thank you for an incredible year and we hope to see you again in 2020!

28. Tfue

TwitchYouTubeTwitter

Recently named the most watched livestreamer on the Internet, if you don’t know who Tfue is, you must not be part of the 87.7 million hours watched of his livestream in 2019. To put this into perspective: the 2nd most watched livestreamer is Shroud at 65 million hours — 22 million hours less?! That’s impressive in and of itself.

But does that translate to charity donations? You bet your bottom dollar it does.

Tfue brought his entire crew to the GuardianCon Marathon this past June, which was benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and raised a solid amount of money during his segment. Whether it was literally throwing a whipped cream pie at CorinnaKopf’s face or writing names all over his body, Tfue and co. raised $29,706.06 during his 4 hour segment — landing him at number 28 on our Top 30 list!

27. DiMezGaming

FacebookTwitter

DiMez is quite the story. Diagnosed with cancer at the age of 19, DiMez went through a gauntlet of hospital visits, including 25 rounds of chemotherapy. He credited the gaming community with getting him through that trying time in his life, and now he spends his days as a Facebook Gaming Content Creator and using his reach for incredible causes like St. Jude.

Rallying his community together, they were able to raise $31,009 this past May as part of the GuardianCon festivities — placing him 27th on our Top 30 individual fundraisers list, but his charitable advocacy does not stop there. As a representative of both Facebook and St. Jude, DiMez was given the opportunity to talk to the media about his journey and the amazing work St. Jude does this past month in New York City. On top of that, DiMez also took part in #ClearTheLists, which is a movement all about providing school supplies to teachers across the United States.

DiMez is just one example of the incredible creators that use their reach to better the world — and we couldn’t be more proud to have such an inspirational individual land on our Top 30 list.

26. fuslie

TwitchYouTubeTwitter

What a year fuslie has had! As one of the hosts of the wildly popular Streamer Camp 2 earlier this year, a marriage proposal from the love of her life (and Tiltify Charity Plaza Host Alumni) edisonparklive, and a huge year for growth on Twitch in 2019, who would have guessed that she’d also raise a ton of money for charity?

She definitely didn’t!

Going into her charity fundraiser for Stand Up 2 Cancer earlier this month — which focuses on raising funds to accelerate the pace of groundbreaking translational research that can get new therapies to patients quickly and Save Lives Now — fuslie had the humble goal of $3,000 — which any content creator would be proud to hit!

But then her goal was hit.

And hit.

And hit again.

And, 6 hours later, the fuslie Family was able to 10x her goal, raising a total of $31,054! We’re proud and thankful for the entire fusFam for contributing to her campaign and we hope to see fuslie at the top of our charts once again in 2020 :)

25. rxysurfchic

TwitchTwitter

Anna ‘rxysurfchic’ Maree is one of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s biggest supporters. Since 2015, she has carried the St. Jude flag with pride and led the way for livestreaming fundraisers as one of their first ever Ambassadors for the #StJudePLAYLIVE program.

In 2019 alone, she raised $26,084 during the #StJudePLAYLIVE Prize Season in May and another $5,216 as she represented the entire PLAY LIVE community alongside Alienware for CNN’s #GreatBigStory — where she got to share her personal story with the entire world. Add in a solid fundraiser for Dallas Pets Alivewhich provides resources, education, and programs needed to eliminate the killing of companion animals in the Dallas area — and you have our 25th highest individual fundraiser at $31,858!

With her holiday fundraiser for St. Jude just around the corner, we are always blown away by Anna Maree’s efforts and we believe we speak for the entire gaming community when we say thank you for all of the good you have done, and will continue to do, for this world.

24. Lowco

TwitchYouTubeTwitter

Lowco is one of the biggest advocates for the proper education of content creators on Twitch. From proper charity fundraising practices to protecting your own legal butt as a creator, Lowco has been providing rock solid knowledge bombs for the entire community to learn from for many years via StreamerSquare.

But it’s one thing to preach it — ya gotta practice it, too! In 2019, Lowco has completed 4 individual charity fundraisers for 4 different organizations, including: Save the Children, 1000 Dreams Fund, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and No Kid Hungry. Lowco also represented Trans Lifeline on our Tiltify Charity Stage at TwitchCon, bringing her individual campaign efforts to a staggering $33,587 this year!

Lowco has also surpassed the $100,000 fundraiser mark during her time using Tiltify — which is an incredible achievement anyone would be proud of! We definitely are — and we’re thankful for the work Lowco has done for the entire livestreaming community in her career. Thank you, Lowco — and we’ll see you in 2020!

23. The8BitDrummer

TwitchYouTubeTwitter

Jerod is addicted to charity fundraising.

Dabbling with Tiltify since 2016, the drumming superstar decided that in 2019, him and his community would do some serious good for the world — and oh my goodness did they ever. This year alone, Jerod hosted 7 individual charity fundraisers for 6 different organizations, including taking part in the #TeamTrees fundraiser, which is a collaboration of thousands of content creators across the Internet to raise over 20 million dollars (thus planting over 20 million trees) for the Arbor Day Foundation!

Jerod was also a special guest and participant during TheRunawayGuys Colosseum, which raised over $183,000 for Direct Relief — and Quest for the Cause, which split $33,000 between 10 different charities via the TwitchCon Charity Plaza.

His individual efforts led Jerod to raising just over $37,000 in 2019, placing him 23rd on our Top 30 list — but with his community supporting, essentially, 17 different organizations, it was definitely time well spent for this little drummer and his incredibly generous community.

UPDATE [Jan 1st, 2020]: Jerod and his community were at it again! On New Years Eve, Jerod fired up his livestream and raised a whopping $13,080.66 for Stand Up To Cancer — giving him a total of over $50,000 in 2019!

Congratulations, Jerod! We cannot wait to see what you and your community do in 2020 ♥

22. Valkyrae

TwitchYouTubeTwitter

Valkyrae is one of the most popular personalities on Twitch — and after teaming up with 100 Thieves last year, she has only grown in popularity.

Back in May, Valkyrae joined other personalities like Pokimane and HayliNic to take part in the first ever Nose Bowl, benefiting Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day — which is a campaign dedicated towards ending child poverty, one nose at a time. During the Nose Bowl, content creators were teamed up with celebrities like Jack Black, Retta, and Flula Borg to sing songs, play games, and even play Jenga while wearing Mickey Mouse gloves — which still blows our collective minds to this day.

But it wasn’t until December where the strength of Valkyrae’s community truly shined. On the exact same day, Valkyrae set out to do the improbable: to run 2 charity fundraisers, back-to-back, for two different organizations: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as part of State Farm’s Charity Initiative, and Gamers Outreach, as part of the 100 Thieves Holiday Fundraiser.

The result? Valkyrae finds herself at number 22 on our Top 30 individual fundraisers list with over $32,500 dollars raised during that day alone — and a grand total of $37,683 for the entire year! An incredible year, an incredible community, and an incredible human being. Thank you, Rae, for all of your charitable efforts this year!

21. littlesiha

TwitchYouTubeTwitter

We all react differently when it comes to facing adversity. For Avery, she turned personal hardship into her biggest motivator this year — and it definitely shows in her charity events for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Fighting for more than herself, Avery channeled all of her energy into her #StJudePLAYLIVE campaign this year — raising over $25,000 for the cancer research organization. In addition to that, Avery found herself melding her passion for dancing with charity work as she also took part in Just Dance for a Cause last month — helping raise another $12,648.32 and pushing the event as a whole to a whopping $25,020 for St. Jude!

Avery originally credited this year as being one of her worst — but ultimately decided that it was the best because of the lessons she learned and the friendships that strengthened. We are so proud of you, Avery — Thank you for everything you have done for St. Jude and we cannot wait to see what you do in 2020 ♥

20. Blessious

TwitchYouTubeTwitter

There’s not much that Blessious wouldn’t do for charity.

But we’re getting ahead of ourselves… Blessious is YouTuber and Twitch livestreamer that specializes in Destiny, but dabbles with some variety content from time to time. But residing from Memphis, Tennessee and being a Destiny enthusiast… you might see where this section is going.

Memphis is the home to one of the most supported charities in online content creation: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. It also just so happens that Destiny was the original driving force that created GuardianCon / Gaming Community Expo. So it’s no surprise that Blessious is a HUGE St. Jude supporter and, again, would do pretty much anything for them.

During the #StJudePLAYLIVE Prize Season, Blessious and his community were able to raise $12,207.15 for the kids of St. Jude. But this was just a warm-up going into his 4 hour GuardianCon segment the following month — where promises of tattooing fellow content creator KackisHD’s Twitter Handle on his butt and going completely hairless (and we do mean… completely) were on the table.

Look. Here at Tiltify, we are not condoning the tattooing of a fellow content creator’s Twitter Handle on your butt as a charity incentive… but it did give you a grand total of $42,791.15 for 2019, placing you 20th on our Top 30 individual fundraisers of the year. Congratulations, Blessious — we hope the tattoo healed nicely ♥

19. AnneMunition

TwitchYouTubeTwitter

Anne is the type of person where if she says something, you listen. It’s this strong and confident personality that makes her well respected across the entire industry — and with good reason, too! Over the years, Anne has amassed an incredibly powerful community and the respect of every single person in the gaming space. It also helps that she’s got a pretty good shot in any shooter she touches…

Whenever Anne gets involved with fundraising, the Armory shows up in a big way. Back in August, Anne did a fundraiser for Save the Children, where she raised $10,665 to help provide resources, education, and safety to children around the world. But what’s truly impressive was her St. Jude fundraiser this past week — where, in a mere 2 hours, her community was able to raise $32,236 dollars!

The Armory has proven itself to be one of the best communities on Twitch — which may land Anne as number 19 on our Top 30 list of individual fundraisers of 2019, but her and the Armory could definitely argue a top 3 spot as one of the best communities around ♥ Thank you, Anne and the Armory — we salute you!

18.5. Yassuo

TwitchTwitterYouTube

If you know anything about the League of Legends scene, you definitely know about our next fundraiser. Whether it is from his incredible soloQ antics or his recent signing with 100 Thieves (and his breathtaking pitch video…), Yassuo is no stranger to the limelight of the Internet — and he’s also no stranger to us! Moe finds himself at number 18.5 on our Top 30 Highest Individual Fundraisers of 2019! (why 18.5? Because at the time of the original posting, Yassuo hadn’t completed his final fundraiser of the year — which boosted him into our Top 30 list!)

Yassuo has been creating content since 2015 — which is on the shorter end compared to some of the other names on our list. But the reason we bring this up is because he’s only 20 years old — meaning he’s been creating content since he was in high school! In an AMA he did back in 2017, Moe revealed that his parents were extremely strict, so he would take on absurd sleeping schedules in order to play League of Legends while his parents were asleep! (Not that we’re encouraging what Moe did — but we definitely respect the dedication he had to the game!)

Since joining 100 Thieves earlier this year, Moe has done 4 charity fundraisers — the first three being for Make-a-Wish, Stand Up To Cancer, and Gamers Outreach as part of the 100 Thieves Holiday Charity Stream. All incredible causes — but the one cause he always supports at the end of each year is Mental Health America, which is the nation’s leading community-based nonprofit dedicated to addressing the needs of those living with mental illness. Thanks to the $35,211.26 raised during his 24 hour stream on December 28th, Moe and his community raised just over $44,000 this year!

Thank you so much for all of your charitable efforts this year, Moe! We cannot wait to see what you, your community, and 100 Thieves accomplish in 2020!

18. Gutian

TwitchTwitter

Communities can be formed in many ways. For most, when you’re tuning in to Twitch, you’re often looking for pro gameplay, breathtaking artwork, or maybe you want to go on an IRL adventure with your favorite content creator.

For Gutian, she used her voice to rally a community based primarily on commentary and what is currently going on in the world — and, this past Fall, Gutian was able to put on display just how generous her community of thinkers can be. Benefiting The Trevor Project — which focuses on providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) young people — Gutian rallied the community to raise a staggering $46,159 — placing her 18th on our Top 30 highest individual fundraisers of 2019!

Gutian is proof that all communities exist on Twitch — and whether you’re a pro gamer or just someone looking for the next best quiche recipe, as their new slogan goes: you’re already one of us. Thank you for bringing your community together for The Trevor Project, Gutian! We know you’re looking to attend TwitchCon in 2020 — We definitely hope to see you there!

17. Nadeshot

TwitchYouTubeTwitter

If you know competitive gaming, you know Nadeshot. Whether it is from his legendary career as a professional Call of Duty player or his esports organization 100 Thieves — if you are part of any hemisphere of competitive gaming, Nadeshot has had his influence in it.

But despite his professional retirement, Nadeshot is still regarded as one of the most prolific content creators of our generation — and with amazing charity events like the 100 Thieves Holiday Charity Stream benefiting Gamers Outreach, it’s hard to deny that statement.

Leading the way for 100 Thieves, the CEO pushed his community with promises of changing his Twitter name to the (very factual) statement “Shake Shack > In N Out” and even coming out of retirement to compete in an amateur Call of Duty Event. Apparently, the community REALLY wanted to see that happen as Nadeshot was able to raise $51,301 in THREE hours — which will build 14 GO Karts for kids in hospitals across the United States to have the same joy of gaming Nadeshot has had his entire career!

Whether you’re a diehard TSM fan or still pining over CouRageJD’s love ballad to Ariana Grande, you have to appreciate the hustle Nadeshot has shown to push 100 Thieves to the top of the Philanthropic mountain — landing him at number 17 in our Top 30 individual fundraisers.

16. Gigz

TwitchTwitter

— Video Courtesy of @Tier1Destiny

It’s been a great year for Gigz.

Back in February, he was the first Apex Legends player signed by professional esports organization 100 Thieves. How did he celebrate? By doing a charity fundraiser for Save the Children that very same day! If this was his way of thanking Nadeshot for the opportunity, then it was definitely a sign of things to come.

Shortly after, the 100 Thieves Superstar was asked to take part in the annual charity event for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital called GuardianCon, which he was no stranger to having raised money for them in previous years — however, 2019 was different. With a new team and a substantial amount of growth in the past year, Gigz was able to take pie after pie after pie to the face, leading to a $43,154 GuardianCon segment!

But he wasn’t done there. As part of the 100 Thieves Holiday Charity Stream benefiting Gamers Outreach, Gigz and his community were also able to contribute an additional $8,115 to the grand total, helping bring the entire 100 Thieves fundraiser to $108,379 — and bringing Gigz 2019 fundraising total to $52,339!

Thank you, Gigz, for an amazing year of fundraising! We hope you continue to be an incredible content creator and keep the ball rolling with 100 Thieves! Not that we’re bias, but the red, white, and black really suits you ♥

15. Darkness429

FacebookTwitter

Since his move to Facebook Gaming in 2018, Tim aka Darkness429 has become one of the most prolific livestreamers — not just on Facebook Gaming, but on the entire Internet. And the numbers don’t lie — with nearly 600,000 followers on the blossoming platform, Tim has been able to establish an incredible community on Facebook Gaming and has no plans on stopping anytime soon.

But if you want more numbers, we got them for you. As one of the co-owners of Rare Drop — the folks that created and operate the Gaming Community Expo — GCX (Formerly GuardianCon), Tim does his own part to contribute to the GCX festivities. Back in May, one of the events that feeds into GCX is #Clips4Kids — where broadcasters are encouraged to not only fundraise, but to play their hearts out in one of 4 Battle Royale Titles (Apex Legends, Fortnite, PUBG, or Call of Duty Blackout). Points are tallied for eliminations and victories, but at the end of the day, it’s all about the fundraising as Tim was able to raise $53,720 alongside his community that week.

Tim is such a pivotal part of the Gaming Community Expo — as well as the ecosystem of livestreaming in general. We appreciate all of the efforts you put in to make GCX a success — and we’ll see you in 2020!

14. ggGibi

YouTube (ASMR)YouTube (Gaming)TwitchTwitter

Sneaking her way into our Top 30 list is Gibi — the ASMR Specialist, Cosplayer, and Avid Gamer on both Twitch and YouTube! But when we say “sneaking her way”, we don’t mean squeaking by and barely making the list… we mean “Kasper was writing this Year-End Review Blog, spent 60+ hours on it, and found out moments before publication that we had to add one more person to the list”…

But that’s okay — it was worth it!

Gibi has amassed a literal army of supporters over the years. Starting as an ASMRtist in 2016, Gibi has grown to over 2.3 million followers on YouTube — with an additional 166,000 on her Gaming Channel and 156,000 on Twitch. So when she decided to do a charity stream for Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy (CURE)which is the leading nongovernmental agency fully committed to funding research in Epilepsy — we figured she’d kick some serious butt.

With her goal being set at a very humble $2500, Gibi was able to raise $22,001 on her Twitch campaign and $33,861.57 on her YouTube campaign — hitting a grand total of $55,862.57 on Tiltify in just one weekend! An absolutely incredible effort, we thank you, Gibi, for using Tiltify for your fundraising efforts and we promise Kasper won’t hold a grudge against you forever… as long as you come back in 2020 and do it all again :)

13. negaoryx

TwitchTwitter

Negaoryx is one of the fastest rising stars on Twitch — and, yes, you might have found out about her from this viral clip back in January, but it’s what she has done since then that will blow your socks off.

Nega is one of the members of Crystalium — a close-knit broadcasting team that has one of the most loyal and supportive communities around. How supportive? Well — during the #StJudePLAYLIVE Prize Season this year, all of their members + nearly 30 members of their community rallied together to form Team Crystalium & Friends, breaking the all-time Team Fundraising Record for the PLAY LIVE Prize Season, raising $204,185.34 — which was led by Negaoryx’s $70,350.11 campaign!

But it doesn’t stop there. Nega was also a huge part of the inaugural Red Nose Day Nose Bowl, a brand new host for Twitch @ E3, a TwitchCon Ambassador, and even found the time to do a bit of hosting for us at the Tiltify Charity Plaza Stage at TwitchCon. Couple that with a short fundraiser for Dallas Pets Alive and her victory in the PJSugar competition at TwitchCon for Trans Lifeline and Nega finds herself at a very clean and even $73,500 raised for charity this year!

Quite the busy year for the superstar, which lands her at number 13 on our Top 30 individual fundraisers of 2019 — but we’re positive Negaoryx and the entire Negaverse will be bursting into the Top 10 next year. Happy Holidays, Nega! We appreciate you ♥

12. Terroriser

YouTubeTwitchTwitter

This Irish YouTube sensation is no stranger to charity work. With 10 Tiltify Charity Campaigns under his belt surmounting to over $180,000 and numerous other charity events he has taken part in, it should be no surprise why Terroriser finds himself in our Top 30 individual fundraisers of 2019.

The best part? He did a majority of it in just TWO campaigns.

Back in March, Terroriser took part in Gamers 4 Giving — an annual, charity LAN event benefiting Gamers Outreach that raised just over $559,000 this year! While he raised a humble $2,433 for the org — an amount that any charity would be happy with — we knew this was just the start of things to come.

In May, Terroriser represented TeamVGaming as part of the #StJudePLAYLIVE Prize Season and was able to raise an incredible $30,151.42 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, leading the team to a grand total of $61,870.51 raised for the kids. This was the largest amount Terroriser had ever raised for an individual charity campaign — but, again, we knew he had a little more in the tank.

His biggest fundraiser always comes around November when he gears up for Movemberthe leading men’s health charity that tackles men’s health on a global scale, year round. Pushing his community to the limit, the Movember Ambassador walked away with a staggering $45,166 raised for the Men’s Health charity, pushing his total to $77,750 and breaking into our Top 12 highest individual fundraisers of 2019!

We salute Terroriser and his community for all that they have done over the years and we cannot wait to see what he accomplishes in 2020 (and beyond).

11. Bloodyfaster

TwitchTwitter

Bloodyfaster is the Queen of Charity Fundraising in 2019. We know, that’s quite a statement to make, but if you have ever tuned in to one of her charity fundraisers, you would understand why.

Let’s start with her community. We’re fully convinced that if Bloodyfaster sat in front of a fireplace doing pretty much nothing, she could already raise a ton of money for any charity. But, being the entertainer that she is, she’s not afraid to put her dignity on the line for the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

In May, Bloodyfaster set out to raise an unfathomable $50,000 for the kids and had all sorts of torturous incentives along the way: from Bob Ross Painting streams to Suffering Through Lifeline (the Voice Activated PS2 game…), the full time streamer and college student would do pretty much anything to hit her goal. And she did. And then some.

$88,220.69 for the kids of St. Jude and another $2402.99 during her fundraising segment for Quest for the Cause is the reason why Bloodyfaster is number 11 on our list of the Top 30 Individual Fundraisers for 2019! Couple that with an incredible first outing as a Stage Host for our Tiltify Charity Stage at TwitchCon and I’d say that Bloodyfaster had an absolutely amazing 2019.

Bloody, we thank you, and the entire community, for an absolutely incredible year — and we cannot wait to work with you again in 2020 ♥

10. WTFGameNation + MyNameIsByf

WTFGameNation: TwitchTwitter

MyNameIsByf: YouTubeTwitter

Toast and Peanut (of WTFGameNation) and Byf are no strangers to charity fundraising. As long standing supporters of GuardianCon (now Gaming Community Expo — GCX), they always set out to do their best to support the massively successful charity marathon and convention each year.

And 2019 was definitely no different.

As a satellite fundraiser to supplement the GuardianCon/GCX Grand Total (which ended up being over FOUR MILLION DOLLARS), the boys of WTFGameNation and MyNameIsByf rallied together for the month of June to throw down their own total of $53,144.22! Couple that with their 4 hour segment in the main GuardianCon Marathon and you have their grand total of $93,550.22 — placing them collectively in the number 10 spot on our Top 30 countdown, all benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

This Triple Threat Tag Team has never shied away from a challenge and with GCX starting to set their sights on next year, we definitely plan on seeing Toast, Peanut, and Byf back again on our Top 30 countdown of 2020.

9. Nick28T

TwitchYouTubeTwitter

Nick is an incredible content creator. With almost 1 million followers on Twitch and 600,000 on YouTube, this proud Canadian has formed quite the formidable community — which is why he finds himself at number 9 of our Top 30 individual fundraisers of 2019.

Back in August, we received an email from the FIFA Specialist asking about the charity onboarding process — hoping that it might be quick and painless so he could move his annual Cancer Research fundraiser to Tiltify. In a matter of days, we were able to go from discussions to onboarding and, before we knew it, Nick was set to do his 40 hour charity livestream for the BC Cancer Foundation!

This wasn’t Nick’s first rodeo with charity fundraising. Despite being new to the Tiltify platform, we found out that his 40 hour marathon would be his 5th annual event benefiting Cancer Research! We had no idea what to expect, but we were ready for Nick to blow our socks off.

And holy h*ck did he ever.

At the end of the 40 hour spectacular, Nick and his community found themselves at $161,520 raised (which translates to roughly $122,000 USD) — giving him one of the highest individual fundraisers we’ve seen this year! We thank you, Nick, for making Tiltify the home for your annual Cancer Research fundraiser and we hope to work with you again in 2020!

8. brendonurie

TwitchTwitterP!ATD Twitter

Panic! At The Disco was many of our childhoods. So, as you can imagine, when Brendon Urie — lead vocalist for P!ATD — came to us about doing a charity fundraiser for the Highest Hopes Foundation — which is his own organization that helps lead, develop, and advocate support for human rights by sharing strength, courage, and motivation to all people and communities who are subject to discrimination — you know we said yes.

Okay, we fangirled and screamed for 30 minutes… and then we said yes.

But it’s important to note that Brendon Urie is no stranger to Twitch — in fact, he has been streaming on a regular basis since last December! His skillful Fortnite gameplay is equally matched by his super down to earth personality — in other words, he is as genuine as a musician can be — which made for a great storyline going into his charity fundraiser last month.

As news outlets exploded with articles about Brendon Urie’s 24 hour livestream starting on November 15th, there wasn’t a soul that hadn’t heard about the vocalists’ charity adventure — and, oh boy, did he deliver quite the show. With friends like Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz and Twenty One Pilots’ Josh Dun coming out to support, brands like Oculus and HyperX providing products to give away, and even Brendon himself having memorabilia from previous shows and music videos to raffle off… Let’s just say that Brendon found a way to exceed his own expectations.

With an initial $100,000 benchmark, Brendon Urie and the Sinners managed to shatter that goal by raising $134,923.80 for the Highest Hopes Foundation! A beautiful voice and a beautiful heart — we thank you, Brendon, for trusting us with your charity fundraiser, and we hope to do it all again next year as Brendon Urie lands at number 8 on our Top 30 list.

Despite starting his broadcasting career in 2013, Cohh is often regarded as one of the Old Guards of the Twitch Livestreaming Universe. It might have to do with the fact that up until April 2019, Cohh was on a 2000 day livestreaming streak — a streak that he decided to end after hitting the 2000 day benchmark on April 6th, 2019. Also add on the fact that he’s a father of two and one of the largest communities on Twitch… Cohh and his entire community is nothing short of impressive.

The same can definitely be said about their approach to charity! Cohh lands 7th on our list thanks to his recent charity livestream for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in association with State Farm — where they raised $30,653 in TWO HOURS — and his contributions to the larger charity marathon known as GCX (formerly GuardianCon) where, back in June 2019, Cohh and his community rallied together to raise over $118,000 during his 4 hour time slot for the same organization, St. Jude — putting him at just over $25,000 per hour and $150,000 in 2019!

Cohh, we both recognize and appreciate your efforts this year — and for the past 5+ years — and salute you for all that you have done for the entire livestreaming community. We cannot wait to see what you have in store for us in 2020!

6. LobosJr

TwitchYouTubeTwitter

As the Godfather of Soulsborne games, Lobos is no stranger to using his insane gaming skills to raise a ton of money for great causes. His organization of choice? St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Now, the Wolfpack is known for supporting anything Lobos does — but if last year’s $106,422.47 raised during #StJudePLAYLIVE was any indication, Lobos would have to get a bit more creative if he was going to beat that.

And creative he got — with incentives like streaming Dance Dance Revolution while in cosplay and learning the speedrun for Lifeline (the PS2 Voice Activated Game), it was only a matter of time before Lobos was able to hit his goal of $115,000.

But the Wolfpack didn’t stop there — as the donations kept rolling in, even with no more milestones left in the tank, they ran up the total to a mind blowing $161,146.44 — putting the campaign at number 1 for the #StJudePLAYLIVE Prize Season and putting Lobos in 6th on our Top 30 individual fundraisers for the year!

Lobos, we have no idea how you and the Wolfpack are going to top this year’s PLAY LIVE campaign… but we’re excited to see you all try in 2020 ♥

5. Emilia Clarke

Instagram

After suffering two brain aneurysms in her young career, Emilia Clarke realized the importance of having immediate, reliable, and top quality support during the rehabilitation process — hence why SameYou was born: to help fund the need for more immediate and reliable neurorehabilitation to those recovering from brain injuries.

It’s for those reasons that Emilia finds her way into our Top 5 list — and, let’s be honest… are you surprised? When the Game of Thrones Superstar approached us with the idea of doing a fundraiser for her charity, SameYou, we knew that having the chance to work with Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen, First of Her Name, the Unburnt, Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains, and Mother of Dragons was a literal dream come true (and quite a mouthful!)

With the once-in-a-lifetime chance to work with Emilia, we knew we had to pair her up with the best person we could think of for the job — the one person we knew would help Emilia break out of her shell and raise a ton of money for her incredible cause: jacksepticeye.

So, on the morning of the event, our team flew out in a helicopter to the secret location to meet up with the Mother of Dragons and start their charity livestream extravaganza. Equipped with incredible, one-of-a-kind incentives, signed memorabilia, and the promise of Emilia Clarke Karaoke, Jack and Emilia walked away with $281,394 for SameYou!

We were so honored to work with Emilia Clarke and her entire team on this fundraiser and we cannot wait to work with you again in 2020 :)

4. Markiplier

YouTubeTwitter

Markiplier is a walking saint. If you don’t believe us, just look at his track record: on Tiltify in 2017, he ran 8 fundraisers for 8 different charities covering 8 drastically different causes, raising a grand total of 1.4 MILLION dollars! Earlier this year, Mark formed a secret club where his community would sneak into charity livestreams across Twitch and YouTube, donate to their cause, celebrate hitting their goals… and then ninja poofed into the night. To this day, many of these fundraisers have NO idea it was Markiplier’s community (so… apologies if this spoiled the surprise) so if that doesn’t spell “literal saint” we don’t know what does.

But maybe this will push you over the top.

Back in February, Mark set out to fundraise for Homeless Youth. After searching for the perfect fit, he landed on My Friend’s Placewhich assists and inspires youth to build self-sufficient lives in the Los Angeles area. In 2018, My Friend’s Place raised a grand total of 2.2 million dollars, which is definitely a significant amount of support — but, as Markiplier always says, “The charity train doesn’t stop… there’s still good to be done.”

So, on February 23rd at 10am Pacific, Mark started up his livestream with the plan of streaming until his goal of $500,000 was hit — no matter how long it would take and thanks to the help of fellow creator jacksepticeye, the fundraiser was a complete success as they ended up raising $513,568.43!

Mark finds himself at number 4 on our Top 30 highest individual fundraisers of 2019 because of 1 singular 24 hour stream. This achievement garnered the attention of the entire YouTube community as Markiplier received the Streamys Social Good Honoree Award for the fundraiser — and we know this won’t be his last. Thank you, Mark — and we’re looking forward to working with you again next year!

3. The Game Theorists (and friends)

YouTubeTwitter

Supporting your favorite charity should be a year-round phenomenon. But in the Philanthropic world, there is one day in particular that is dedicated to all things charity: Giving Tuesday — and for this year’s Giving Tuesday (December 3rd, 2019), MatPat and Stephanie from The Game Theorists went all out in their support of one of the global leaders in Cancer Research and Treatment: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

In a 10 hour livestreaming spectacular, The Game Theorists and all of their friends gathered together to try and raise as much money as possible for St. Jude — and it was quite the all-star lineup of friends that came out to support. From Rosanna Pansino to The Try Guys, Markiplier to NateWantstoBattle, this 10 hour livestream was one you did NOT want to miss.

The entire stream was full of surprises — including a special Guest Appearance by St. Jude employee (and former St. Jude patient) Miguel — where MatPat and Stephanie decided to surprise him with 50 Nintendo Switch’s to bring back to Memphis, and the St. Jude Campus, for all of the kids of St. Jude to enjoy.

But that wasn’t all. Scott Cawthon — the creator of the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise — created a special game for The Game Theorists to play. Inside the game was $500,000 that the players could unlock and Scott would donate whatever was found by the end of the livestream. With Dawko, the FNaF Specialist, in attendance and Gaming God Markiplier taking the reins, Scott came through with the full donation bringing The Game Theorists Grand Total to $1,331,642.73 for St. Jude on Giving Tuesday — and putting The Game Theorists (and friends) in the Number 3 Spot of our Top 30 List!

The #CancelCancer Giving Tuesday livestream was an absolute experience! Thank you Mat, Stephanie, and the entire cast of friends for showing your support for St. Jude — and we cannot wait to do it all over again next year ♥

2. jacksepticeye

YouTubeTwitter

2.8 million dollars.

That is how much Jacksepticeye has raised on Tiltify since December 2017.

We could just leave it at that, call it a day, pack up our things, and enjoy the rest of our decade knowing that Jacksepticeye is fundraising for a different charity every single month — and doing it on a massive scale. But that’s only because we don’t think we can put into words just how incredible of a human being Seán “jacksepticeye” McLoughlin truly is.

But let’s give it a try.

Seán started the year by saying that he wanted to do a charity livestream every month in 2019 — and apart from combining November and December into a mega holiday spectacular, he did just that. 11 livestreams across 11 different charities (Make-a-Wish, Gamers Outreach, Charity: Water, Red Nose Day, Save the Children, The Trevor Project, Environmental Defense Fund, Best Friends Animal Society, SameYou, the Arbor Day Foundation, and Child’s Play) is the reason why jacksepticeye finds himself at Number 2 on our Top 30 List. We wish we could highlight every single one — but let’s look at some of the biggest:

Comic Relief and Red Nose Day are a brand new cause to join us on Tiltify, but they are definitely not a new cause to the world. The original Comic Relief fundraiser dates back to Christmas Day 1985, where Richard Curtis, Jane Tewson and friends went live on BBC One from Sudan to broadcast their fundraising efforts — with the original Red Nose Day following in 1988. Skip forward to 2015, when Red Nose Day USA debuted — over 200 million dollars have been raised in their efforts and for their first venture into the livestreaming world this year, Jacksepticeye was happy to answer the call by raising $111,160 during his April fundraiser and kicking off what would surmount to $309,658 for Red Nose Day’s first livestreaming campaign.

In September, Seán was presented with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to do a fundraiser for SameYou — which helps fund the need for more immediate and reliable neurorehabilitation to those recovering from brain injuries. What made it a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Well because he would get to livestream, in-person, with the Mother of Dragons Emilia Clarke herself! To say the entire community was excited is a vast understatement — to see their man, jacksepticeye, sitting 2 feet from Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, we’re pretty sure Seán still doesn’t believe that happened. But it did — and they sang and danced and even ate some beanboozled jellybeans before raising a resounding $281,394.80 in FOUR hours!

But as Seán always does… he saves the best for last. Combining his November and December charity fundraisers together, Seán executed Thankmas 2019 to benefit Child’s Play. With a slew of special guests joining him throughout the day, giveaways provided by Oculus, and donations from various companies, Jacksepticeye and Friends raised a whopping $354,738.14!

With Thankmas coming to an end last week, Jacksepticeye has raised a grand total of $1,634,986 on Tiltify in 2019. It is a number that almost no one will ever overcome in a single calendar year — and to spread that love across 11 different causes is simply incredible. We thank you, Seán, for always trusting us with your charitable fundraisers and we cannot wait to see what you have in store for 2020.

1. DrLupo

TwitchYouTubeTwitter

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is the most magical place on Earth.

These are the words uttered by every single content creator that has had the fortune of seeing the St. Jude Campus since the beginning of the St. Jude PLAY LIVE Program — where creators from all over the world are invited to see the facilities, network with other creators, and become inspired to raise as much money as possible.

That was especially the case for DrLupo, who made his way to the St. Jude Campus back in April for the annual St. Jude PLAY LIVE Summit. Within those halls, DrLupo experienced first-hand where all of the money went: the 1.3 million dollars his community raised in 2018 and the 3.5 MILLION DOLLARS they raised this year, which is enough to run the entirety of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for over a day.

DrLupo is our number 1 Highest Individual Fundraiser of 2019 — and it was all for St. Jude.

In May, DrLupo took part in #Clips4Kids — an event where broadcasters are encouraged to compete in one of four Battle Royale Titles (Apex Legends, Fortnite, PUBG, or Call of Duty Blackout) all while fundraising for St. Jude. Not only did Lupo finish in first place, he and his community also raised $200,000 for the kids. Not to shabby — but it was just a warm-up for the Patron Saint of Twitch.

In June, Lupo was given the honor of closing out the GuardianCon Marathon: a culmination of a week’s-worth of fundraising for St. Jude alongside 40 other creators. For his 4 hour block, DrLupo wanted to accomplish the unthinkable: 1 Million Dollars in 4 Hours — and holy h*ck did he come close.

During those 4 hours, DrLupo rallied both his and the GuardianCon communities to raise $765,000 dollars, blowing past the 3.5 million dollar goal for the marathon! But then, the audible was made. With his ultimate goal not yet reached, DrLupo gave the communities 30 more minutes to see what else they could do — and the result? A record-setting 10,752 unique donations over 4 ½ hours to bring his total to $920,343.98!

Including shirt sales and other miscellaneous contributions, DrLupo and his community had raised over 1.2 million dollars by the time GuardianCon was over — and while most people might be happy with that and call it a day… DrLupo isn’t exactly most people. His 920,000 GuardianCon Block raised questions of what he might aim for during his #BuildAgainstCancer 24 hour marathon in December — and while one person in chat felt that a 2 million dollar goal would be impossible, the rest of the world knew how capable DrLupo and his community was.

So on Saturday, December 21st at 10am Pacific, armed with the support of thousands of creators, brands, and community members, DrLupo took his first step onto the battlefield, ready to build his heart out against Cancer — and thanks to a very special surprise by Twitch, records were absolutely shattered.

When asked to describe St. Jude in one word, DrLupo said “family” — which is fitting because when we think of DrLupo, his community, and the entire gaming community, we think of the exact same word: family. It is this gaming family he has developed — whether the one in his household, the one in his Twitch Chat, or the millions of people reading about his fundraisers across the Internet that enables DrLupo to save the lives of millions through his fundraising efforts…

And I don’t know about you, but we here at Tiltify are damn proud to be part of his family.

Thank you, Ben.

We love you.

We want to give a special thank-you to absolutely everyone — not just these 30(ish) individuals — for using Tiltify to power their charitable fundraisers. Over 18,000 campaigns have been created this year and even if you were not in this Top 30 list, remember that every dollar counts — and, at least on 18,000 different occasions, you have made a difference in the lives of millions of people around the world.

Whether it is for Cancer Research, Fighting Hunger, or Protecting the Lives of Others, charitable fundraising is one of the many reasons why every single one of us at Tiltify are proud of what we do, and will continue to be proud for many years to come.

As long as you keep on fundraising, we’ll keep on building and providing the tools you need to be successful. That is our promise to you.

Have the happiest of holidays and we will see you all in 2020 ♥
