"Why does my desk do that?"

A conversation with Anne Valentino

What's going on inside your Eos console? Visit ETC NYC this October to find out.

Every lighting console shares a few core ideas in terms of data management – and all of those concepts have historical precedence drawn from analog control. Why does this matter? If you don’t fully understand why your desk works the way it does – if you only learn the rules not the ideas – you are forever hobbled as a programmer.

Successful programming is more than understanding what buttons to hit or even having a refined design eye. Understanding how the desk of your choice handles data “under the hood” will help your speed and accuracy. Join Eos product manager Anne Valentino as she explores where those ideas came from and how they play out today within the Eos platform.

Doors open at 6:30pm; talk starts at 7pm. Free and open to all! Seating is first come, first-served.

Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
