| Introduction | I am Ephemera for several reasons... see the World English Dictionary: ephemera (ɪˈfɛmərə) — n , pl -eras , -erae 1. a mayfly, esp one of the genus Ephemera 2. something transitory or short-lived 3. a class of collectable items not originally intended to last for more than a short time, such as tickets, posters, postcards, or labels --- I don't think I'm an insect, mayfly or otherwise, though I do identify with the freedom and beauty of winged creatures, especially fireflies, moths, birds, and fae. It's not that I think I'm short-lived, in fact, I think LIFE itself is too short to waste. I want to live every moment to the fullest. I also am a collector of baubles, trinkets, letters, tickets, postcards, keys, feathers, pens, words and quotes... So, I believe the name suits me. |
