Let's not bury the lede: This is my favorite Claudia Burgoa book. This is the best out of the bookshelf.
Now, here's the thing: I could tell you all the great stuff as to WHY I loved the story but then this review would be fraught with SPOILERS. In the end, what was it?
How Henry showed Sophia the man he truly was.
How Henry showed Sophia how he valued her.
How Henry learned that allowing others in opens trust and solid relationship - whether love or family.
Family is who you allow in your circle - not always blood.
How Sophia got it all wrong. Once the smoke and mirrors cleared the field, she saw what was there all along.
So the story starts off with the reader having a thought "Okay this is going to be enemies to lovers' story. They are going to snipe at each other until they fall into bed."
Just to let you know, you are going to find out you are wrong. But that's the fun of reading this couple. You get to discover as they do - they have loved each other from the start. It's the 'things' that get in the way. I love seeing the soft underbelly of a character exposed - and we get that with Henry. Sophia may be an outward man-eater - nope - we learn her motivations and makes her stronger in our eyes.
And there are 'things'. Example character MX - whom you KNOW is the villain. HA! Keep reading.
This is a refreshing and brilliantly told twist on the enemies to lovers you don't see coming. I literally got to the "OH Wait a second moment" and stayed up to 2 AM to finish.
WARNING: You need to read book 1. Although you get detail from the author on why they are in Baker's Creek, I think the story was far more satisfying for me in seeing Henry and Sophia through the lens of Hayes first to really see Henry.
Recommendation: Buy It

A Moment Like You is book two in The Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers series by Claudia Burgoa. This series is the story of six brothers, all forced to abandon their lives and live together in the family home in the tiny town of Baker’s Creek, Oregon. Six brothers who never really knew each other and shared a good amount of dislike for one another. This book is Henry’s story.
Henry Aldridge is the business tycoon of the family. He is the soul owner of Merkel Hotels and Spas. Henry was raised by an angry mother who saw him as a pawn, and by a father and grandfather, who saw him as an asset to their empire. Henry knew no other life. He never knew love, friendship or happiness. Until he met Sophie.
Sophie Aragon came to work for Merkel right out of college. It didn’t take long for her to become Henry, her boss’s assistant. The job, salary and benefits allows Sophie to care for her sick mother, to pay for her treatments and living expenses. Sophie will do anything to be able to make her parent’s lives more comfortable, even put up with a boss who makes every day of her life a challenge.
When Henry has to move to Baker’s Creek, Sophie thought she would continue to live in New York and run the company. But that’s not what Henry wants. He wants her by his side.
A funny thing is happening to Henry and his brothers as they are forced to cohabitate. They are becoming a family. They are learning to work together, they have each other’s backs. Henry has fallen in love with Baker’s Creek. His life in New York is feeling farther and farther away. And, the feelings he has kept suppressed for Sophie all these years won’t stay hidden any longer. It’s time for her to learn that she is his and he is hers. That she’s always been his.

At first I wasn’t sure how I felt about these two. I thought this was an enemies to lovers romance. But really, Sophie was never Henry’s enemy. Everything he did had always been for her. Sophie might have felt a little different at first. But once Henry started showing her his heart, everything changed. She didn’t even recognize this new Henry.
I really enjoyed this book. I loved watching the brother’s relationships to each other grow and strengthen. And I really loved Henry’s transformation. A Henry in love is such a beautiful thing. But their path was not an easy one. There are a lot of things put in place by both Henry’s father and grandfather that can and will cause them all sorts of problems. And it’s here that I have to say, don’t ever underestimate the power of family. Because when they put their heads together, there’s no telling what could happen. Also, even though their father’s lawyer, Jerome Parrish, is pretty much the bad guy through all of this, I felt like we saw a couple of redeeming qualities in him in this one.
I am looking forward to the next book in this series, book three, Defying Our Forever, which will be Pierce and Leyla’s story. They have so many secrets. I can’t wait to find out what they are.

A Sexy Assistant-Boss Small-Town Romance with Demands, Brotherhood & Friendships, Banters, Sweets & Swoons, Revealing Truths & Love, Ghost of a Decision, Hope & HEA!
They're finally taking the leap, I Loved Henry & Sophia! Started it immediately after Reading 'Loved you Once' & DEVOURED in 7hrs.
NOTE: So I Binge read this series for the release of 'Call You Mine'. It was on my TBR & I finally got to read it! Its so much Fun, Totally Recommend it. It's VERY Enjoyable to read them in Sequence. All 4 books were So different from eachother & I loved each couple for their Uniqueness. I'm so excited for the Next 2 books of this series!
I noticed that each book (from the Heroine's PoV) gives us some info about the bros, so here is from Sofia:

Hayes, the doctor, and my best friend’s fiancée. Pierce, the hot lawyer, and my other best friend’s estranged husband. Mills, the hockey player...Vance, the broody, smoldering special forces guy...Beacon, the heartthrob musician. And I’ve saved the worst for last, Henry Lloyd Merkel Aldridge. The owner of Merkel Hotels and Spas. He also happens to be my boss. If Lucifer had a twin, Henry would be him."
Henry; Demanding, Booming voice, Assholish but Caring; is the 1st Aldridge Brother & Owner of Merkel Hotel & Spas. Sophia; Hardworking, Takes no Shit, Resilient; is his Assistant. His Mom's family were very Strict & did a number on him WHILE Soph's Family is Sweet & her parents lovely.
It was Fun to See Henry+Sophia interacting in 'Loved you once', How Soph can handle Henry greatly. Their Banters are hilarious. I was extra excited for their story!
These two have fought their desire for eachother since they met. He'd seen her potential & is planning to give what she deserves, without anyone knowing for now. Then they'd Kissed a few days ago & Henry started to formulate a plan to make her his..To finally let go.
Since All Aldridges moved to save Baker's Creek due to their Father- William's Will, Sophia had more Work pile. Then Henry Demands she move here & She Swears to make his life hard.
Henry wants her Close for many reasons, but MOSTLY to win her heart. He even made sure that her parents can come by buying them a vacation house! (Those visits are Cool!)
“You are actually taking care of her and to cover the gesture you are a major asshole to her." ~Hayes
The Two's Sparks were blazing from start. Omg, I loved it! And Swooned when Henry gave her Space as she was overwhelmed by his change. And Change he did, Henry in Love is So beautiful. He's still cocky but now even that feels adorable😁. Her Move here didn't end up being too bad! He did everything to Show her he cared, that he appreciates her, their Respect mutual. I loved that he Heeded Hayes' advice & Showed emotions.

They'd been at odds many times but weren't ever enemies. Already half In love, Them falling Fully didn't take much time. The Sex is damn Fiery, Their Family & Friends are happy for them, Henry+Sophia's I love yous come soon & then he gives her the post she'd always deserved- CEO of her Own Factory, The project he'd employed her on is now HERS! (Yup, Henry's so Thoughtful❤)
"This town has become my goal. This woman became my world. My vision of the future includes her and whatever happens." ~Henry
But Not Everything's Solved. The later scenes when Henry's Grandfather's Contract-bounded Pre-engaged Fiance comes... It's Heartbreaking. Sophia had known about it BUT He thought he'd nulled the contract, apparently not. But Gladly Everyone handles it fairly maturely. And the plan Sophia deploys after Finding (her bro surprise!) what Henry's been doing (It's Sweet & Surprising!) for her for years, was so much FUN! Every-Good-Guy got their Happy way❤.
These days away from Soph really homed the fact that Sophia's IT for him. Cue Marriage Proposal! *Yay*. They're gonna have a beautiful life here😘.
Plus, we found that William left them all letters! Hayes, Blaire, Henry will open theirs when everyone gets them But Sophia's opened & wow, that was Unexpectedly Lovely! I think there's an ulterior motive for Bringing the Aldridge Brothers here...
The Epilogue's Gorgeous, There are marriages & Henry+Sophia are having Twins! *Swoon*.
I loved to see The Brothers' Relationship grow here! They're starting to be like the family they should've always been. The Girls' Friendship is Heartwarming!❤
Jerome, their dad's lawyer, has been like an enemy..He's just doing his job but there seems to be something more.
P.s. I love Beacon's Antics! (He's gonna surprise y'all in his book!) Up next is Pierce+Leyla's Story, their secrets are gonna be revealed!

Maybe it’s the state of our world, or maybe it’s just me, but honestly I’m over billionaires. I liked parts of this book; the heroine is smart and cunning, a hard worker and just a good person. The hero is a bit of an a$$ but we see him grow and change throughout this book which was great because he needed to and the fact he got help was fantastic because one of my number one pet peeves for people in romance books who are messed up from their childhoods but never seek therapy especially when they have the means to do so. I somehow missed the first book in this series, but it didn’t take me long to figure out what was going on.
Six brothers are forced to live in Baker’s Creek, Oregon sharing their late father’s home for 18 months before they can inherit his money which none of them want, but if they don’t stay then the small town falls into unsavory hands that will destroy it.
Henry Aldridge is the owner of Merkel Hotels and Spas which he inherited from his maternal grandfather. He’s been groomed for this position from the time he was a small boy; he has no people skills, but his business sense in unparalleled. He is rude and makes people around him miserable, especially his assistant Sophie Aragon who is way over qualified for her position and not happy that she’s been passed over for promotion after promotion but also can’t quit because she supports her parents.
At the beginning of this book it is easy to think Henry and Sophie have a love/hate relationship, but it becomes evident as this book goes on that Henry has harbored feelings for Sophie for a good portion of the three years she’s worked for him. Sophie fully admits he’s nice to look at and after their almost kiss following his father’s death she feels a certain amount of lust for him, but his attitude helps her keep him firmly in the “no way ever” category.
I liked that Sophie didn’t put up with Henry’s crap and was happy to put him in his place when he needed it. Maybe it’s just me, but I didn’t understand Henry’s need to tick her off all the time. He was like the little boy pulling the little girl’s pigtails on the playground because he likes her, and I just didn’t understand why he didn’t sit her down and confess his feelings. That being said, I had a hard time with Sophie who proved over and over in this book she is a capable and smart woman to not question all of the extras and incentives Henry offered her every time she threatened to quit. I mean she seriously could not be that naïve.
This is a busy book with a lot going on and at times it was almost too much and then of course a monkey wrench is thrown in with Henry’s fiancée, an agreement his grandfather and this woman’s father made when he was 22 and he signed off on, yet this smart and savvy businessman not realizing that the woman he’s supposed to marry at 32 is approaching that age soon…not buying it.
I love the premise of this series, I love watching the brothers learn to get along and bonding, and I enjoyed the relationship between Henry and Sophie although I felt like there was a HUGE rush to the “I love you” stage, but there was just a lot in this book I rolled my eyes at and while I feel this group of billionaires is trying to help those less fortunate, had they actually done more to prove it I might have liked the book better.

This is a busy book with a lot going on and at times it was almost too much and then of course a monkey wrench is thrown in with Henry’s fiancée, an agreement his grandfather and this woman’s father made when he was 22 and he signed off on, yet this smart and savvy businessman not realizing that the woman he’s supposed to marry at 32 is approaching that age soon…not buying it.
I love the premise of this series, I love watching the brothers learn to get along and bonding, and I enjoyed the relationship between Henry and Sophie although I felt like there was a HUGE rush to the “I love you” stage, but there was just a lot in this book I rolled my eyes at and while I feel this group of billionaires is trying to help those less fortunate, had they actually done more to prove it I might have liked the book better.

… You are gonna hate the fact that you looooooove Henry Aldridge but love you will! I mean if you read the first book, he doesn’t come across as sunshine so … I was ready to maybe sorta like him but love the story. WELL, I loved it all! I was ridiculously entertained from beginning to end. I can’t really say the story had much angst, but it definitely evoked feelings from me. I laughed a little and I smiled a lot. I swooned a whole lot and my heart went pitter-patter a few times. My eyes may have gotten misty here and there but I’m a sucker for romance, so that’s pretty much a given every time LOL
What I liked most about not only this book, but this series, is the family vibe that is woven into the narrative. This isn’t just a HEA journey for Henry and Sophia, it’s much more than that. It’s a journey of growth and family and acceptance and it is just a joy to be a part of! Highly recommend this book, series and author!

Claudia Burgoa has done the impossible and made me fall madly in love with Henry Aldridge. If you read Loved You Once (Hayes and Blaire’s Book), then you know that Henry came across as the epitome of tall, dark and asshole. And now, he owns my heart!! A Moment Like You (The Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers #2) is an outstanding and unforgettable addition to this series. This beautifully crafted contemporary romance will capture your heart and have you swooning from the beginning to the wonderful end.

A Moment Like You is the second book in the Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers series and I adored it. I have to admit, I was a little hesitant to read this book as I didn’t particularly enjoy the first book in the series, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved this book. Just Claudia wowing me with her writing once again.
Henry was definitely one of those characters you read about and dislike immediately but once you get to know him you can’t help but love him. I mean, his character development from book one to two was incredible. He had some serious swoon worthy lines that came across as cheesy but still had me smiling and awwing. Sigh.
I loved Henry and Sophia as a couple. Not only was the sexual tension sizzling but I just loved how they complemented each other so well. They pushed each other, bounced ideas off each other allowing them to work fantastically together but also created a calming and comfortable ease in their relationship.
I am really growing to love the Aldridge family and their ever evolving dynamic and I’m super intrigued to see which Alderidge brother gets his story next. Very, very curious about the Alderidge brother’s father, the man who set this entire plan into motion. I have an idea in my head as to why but looks like I won’t know until the end of the series.

This was my first book by this author, and I really loved it! It grabbed my attention right from the beginning, and it kept it all the way to the end!
This is a busy book it's about one couple, but the underlining story is really about 7 brother's that per the father's will all of them together must move to Baker's Creek to live in the same house, and stay in town for 18 months including any significant others, and children, or thousands of people, the whole town will suffer the consequences! Devious father.
Henry Aldridge is the eldest of the brothers, arrogant, angry, overbearing and heir to Merkel Corporate which has hotels & spas all over the world. He is not happy about these new changes in his life. They are trying to find a lopewhole in the will, but his father did an air tight will.
He wasn't a good dad, he was a womaniser that had 5 kids out of wedlock, a tuff man that didn't know how to show love to anyone, including his children!
Sophia is his secretary and right hand woman! She doesn't take any $hit from him! Their bartering is witty and the chemistry is hot! She is smart, strong and overworked. She also has to help her parents out due to her mom's health issues!
Henry and Sophia have a hate\ love relationship.
It's funny, steamy but it has its own serious moments that had me reaching for my tissue! It's a complete romance novel that I truly enjoyed.
There's definitely some twists that I didn't see coming! I can't wait to continue reading about this big family, and what their father keeps throwing at them from the grave!
It can be read as a standalone, but because it involves the whole family I believe it would be better if you read the first book first. No cliffhanger, and there's a HEA .

I was so excited to be reunited with the Aldridge Family again in Bakers Creek. This story is about Henry, the very successful Billionaire Tycoon who is the oldest of the Aldridge brothers and his assistant Sophie.
When Henry is forced to live in Bakers Creek with the rest of the Aldridge clan for 18 months in order to save the town, he demands that Sophie accompanies him. She is totally opposed to this firstly because she needs to be close to her mothers who is not well and secondly because she has started having sexy thoughts about her boss. Henry will do anything to ensure that Sophie comes to live with them. It was fun to read how the sassy and caring Sophie managed to break down the walls of the moody and arrogant Henry and how he was lost when she was not at his side constantly. Their chemistry was undeniable and sexy.
We get to catch up with the rest of the brothers and their respective partners and see how they are becoming a real family after being apart for most of their lives.
This was such a fun and good feel read, I loved every page read. It was well written, and I cannot wait for the next instalment of The Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers.

Claudia took this series to another level!! I absolutely loved it! It reminded me how you can’t always judge a person by first impressions! A Moment Like You was the 2nd book in Claudia’s Baker Creek Billionaires Brothers Series. It can be read as a stand alone, but I recommend reading in order to get the best experience!! It was redeeming, emotional, and sexy!!
Sophia hated her boss, but at the same time she couldn’t leave. When he had to move to the other side of the country, he made her come with him. Would she make the move or finally put her foot down?

A Moment Like You is the 2nd book in the Baker's Creek Billionaire Brothers series and I enjoyed it. This story was entertaining and sexy with witty banter and I was hooked until the end. You will love these characters. Sophia and Henry had excellent chemistry and I loved how strong and sassy she was and the way she handled Henry. This heartwarming tale had some emotional moments and some angsty one and you will easily fall in love with this dysfunctional family and all these characters. A Moment like You was a great addition to this series and I would recommend it to all lovers of contemporary romance.

A Moment Like You by Claudia Burgoa a five-star read that will stay with you longer than a moment. This is number two in the Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers series and I hadn’t read number one, but I will be going back to pick it up, I didn’t feel lost reading this one as the background is set up well, but I am just so engrossed in this family I need more!! Henry Aldridge is a powerful man, and one that is so used to getting his own way and ruling the roost, what happens when someone steps up and says no. But the thing is Sophia can only say no to so much, her family rely on her so much that she would struggle to say no to the extent that she needs. Life then goes on a whirlwind and well takes her away and spits her out the other side all twirled up and lost, but sometimes a change of scenery really is what you need and sometimes it’s more than just you that needs the change. All of the Aldridge boys have a part to play in this story and they all step up in different ways, Henry is one that changed my mind several times about himself, how much heart he shows really surprised me, my only question left is which brother will we hear about next.

A Moment Like You is a heart warming story that has many ups and some very emotional downs but Claudia does an extraordinary job at showing the whole story and helping us pick up the pieces of our heart along the way!
Henry is definitely a stubborn man so it takes an even stronger woman to deal with him and no one is more equipped for that than Sophia! Their dynamic from the start is hilarious and very angsty! I loved their quick barbs and even more I love how quick the woman came together and show these brothers that nope you will not be like your father!
I just can’t get enough of this super dysfunctional family and charming town! I want all the books because I know this is going to get even better with each brother!

I love the Aldridge family and returning to Baker’s Creek! I couldn’t put down Sophia and Henry’s story and had to keep flipping as I was reading. Unfortunately work got in the way but as soon as I got home I jumped right back in! I loved this story and I can’t wait for more!!

(audiobook) I enjoyed this book much more than the first one in the series. I felt the relationship it focuses on was way more believable. And to mix the office romance with the enemies to lovers trope that way was brilliant.
You just know, even from the first book, that there are strong feelings between Sophia and Henry. They usually manifest as anger, conflicts, sass, but you know deep down that it’s love, because they also respect each other, and make sacrifices for each other.
The character development was interesting too. Henry didn’t become a cold hearted CEO on a whim. The more we learn about him, the more we understand that he may not be as cold hearted as he appears. Maybe it’s a persona. Maybe he was taught to act that way because that was supposed to be the key to success. As for Sophia, her ambitions and devotion to her job were understandable and compelling. They were well rounded characters.
While we follow the development of Sophia and Henry’s romance, we also get more information about the big aspect of the series: the reason why William Aldridge forced his sons–and spouses–to stay for 18 months in Baker’s Creek. It’s still ongoing, so don’t expect a resolution here, but maybe not everything is as it seemed at first.
I have mixed feelings about the audiobook. While both narrators are really good, I felt that they didn’t exude the same energy. Going from a quiet and slow chapter to an upbeat one can be disconcerting.

Sophia is Henry's faithful assistant she is his Girl Friday. She has needed her job no matter what it has entailed even if it encompassed all her waking moments. Who knew that her billionaire boss could be so demanding. Yes he is easy on the eyes but that is it he is too over the top all the time. The last straw is having her move to a small town away from her family to help him run not only his company but the one his tyrant father has dropped on them. Henry has remained the boss who is untouchable and stoic but we soon realize that he has quite the torch for his right hand woman Sophia. We soon see that Henry is a man of many talents and when he finally realizes what and who he wants he will go to the ends of the earth to make it a reality. I loved watching this couple grow and blossom. They were a business powerhouse and also a beautiful romance in the making!

As a child Henry had everything he could ask for financially, but emotionally it was a much different situation. As a result, he comes across as cold and unfeeling when the truth is much different. He is a successful businessman who finds himself back in Baker’s Creek with his estranged brothers however he isn’t about to face the situation on his own so who better to have by his side than his trusted assistant.
Sophie enjoys her job but some days the same can’t be said for her boss however the financial benefits have enabled her to support her family and that is really all that matters to her. Having to relocate with Henry wasn’t part of her plan and it will either be a lesson in patience or a surprise she didn’t see coming

4 Star Review of A Moment Like You (The Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers #2) by

The second book in the latest series from Claudia Burgoa and it was as entertaining as the first book and it can be read as a stand alone. A Moment Like You is Henry and Sophia’s story and is heart warming and also a bit of an emotional roller coaster of a read.
I enjoyed the humour, camaraderie and banter between Henry and Sophia. Henry is a stubborn man but Sophia is just the woman to keep up with him. Will Sophia be able to break down the walls that Henry’s up-bring created and in doing so open them both up to a chance for love and happiness?
The characters were entertaining and the story was well written. Angsty at times and heart warming it made me laugh and brought tears to my eyes.

I have been so excited for this book! I love the Aldrich brothers and Bakers Creek Billionaire Brothers Series! This is the 2nd book and I have been anxiously awaiting it's release.
Henry Aldridge is the eldest brother and a Hotel tycoon. He has to spend the next 18 months in Baker's Creek with his siblings according to his father's will. He has his assistant Sophia stay with him, under much protest. She was looking forward to having time away from his overbearing, arrogant, demanding attitude. But he has realized he can't bear to be away from her.
Watching Henry open up to love and family was wonderful. Sophia has exceeded his expectations over the past years working for him and they have formed a seamless partnership. He has gone above and beyond to take care of her, mostly without her knowledge. As they let down their guards and begin to explore what they mean to each other, their love is a beautiful thing. The siblings becoming real brothers is an amazing and heartwarming experience. How Sophia's parents and Martina were taken care of was just short of brilliant. This was just a pleasure to read!
The Epilogue. What can I say except I love Epilogues and this one was great! Can't wait to read the next book to not only find out about the next brother, but to keep up with Hayes & Blaire and Henry & Sophia! Five Raving Stars!

This was a fun read that kept me feeling mostly light with a few moments of angst. I did not read the first book in the series but I don’t feel like I missed out on anything. It was a story that kept you on your toes with all the hidden agenda’s in the will of the dad but these boys and their women are truly smart enough to work with and around some of them. I love Sophia and how smart she is. She has a good heart and has big caring and protective instincts. She also is a think outside the box kinda lady.

I knew that I'd love Henry from the moment I met him in Loved You Once. And let me tell you, the wait for his story was so worth it! He was much better than I expected.
With this second book, I realized that not everything is what it seems.
I especially loved the character development that takes place in A Moment Like You and seeing this story from the perspective of the different characters is incredible. This is best appreciated if you read the previous story first, although you can read it as a standalone and you'll understand it perfectly.
I love Sofia and Henry so much! They gave me so many smiles and laugh-out-loud moments with their banter. They're everything I needed and more. And their connection was so unique, hot and swoon worthy. They are definitely my favorites.
But what I enjoyed the most is that this is not a simple romance about the main couple. It's much more. It's about this complicated but endearing family, and finding what really matters in life for each of them.
Once again, Claudia gives us all the feels with her beautiful and flawless writing.

This is book two in The Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers Series. I am more in love with the brothers after reading this book! The back and forth banter has me laughing out loud on a regular basis. The text feed is my favorite. Henry is a demanding boss who will do anything for his assistant. Sophia is Henry’s assistant who takes care of her parents and has a love/hate relationship with her boss. The hoops that the brothers have to jump though to save not only their businesses but a town or two are incredible. Just when you think things are crazy...let’s throw an arranged marriage in the mix. I look Forward to see what book three in this series bring me to read!

I loved the first book and this one didn't disappoint either. I had a feeling Henry wanted Sophia and he just had a crappy way of showing it. Honestly when a whole bunch of stuff started coming out you really see he cared but had a crappy way of showing her. Sophia is a sweetie but you can tell she's worn out but loves taking care of her parents which is why she puts up with Henry. The Aldridge boys are finally getting along better but man they are all hard headed and frustrating! Also im super excited for book 3!!!
