Rate this book
Lost & Found
She is everything he ever wanted.
He is everything she needs to stay away from.

College graduate Anabel Majer is feeling lost. With the uncertainty of her future weighing on her, she accepts a job as an au pair. Traveling to the States was supposed to be a chance to find herself beyond her life in Croatia, not get swept away by a handsome stranger.

A Super Bowl ring is the only thing New York Knights quarterback William Price is missing. Or so he thought. After meeting a gorgeous nanny with a sexy accent, he soon realizes she’s everything he’s ever wanted. Her hot and cold signals are throwing him off his game, but he won’t give up easily.

One night, their lives collide, and nothing will ever be the same. Anabel’s time in America is limited, but William won’t let anything stand in his way of getting the girl of his dreams, because sometimes to find what’s missing, you have to get a little lost.

Forever
Happily ever after is actually just the beginning…

Anabel Majer thought finding love would be the happy ending she’d been longing for. Turns out, she was wrong. Forever is before them, but first, they have to survive a year apart—and the long-distance relationship is killing her softly. Her heart breaks a little more with every step she takes away from the man she loves.

After finally finding the woman of his dreams, football star William Price isn’t about to let her go. Time and space stand in their way, but 4300 miles and 365 days won’t hold him back for long. When an opportunity presents itself, nothing will stop him from making Anabel his—for good.

He’s hers and she’s his, and nothing will stand in the way of the life they are planning. Holding on to love an ocean apart isn’t easy, but they are stronger than that. Their love... it’s forever.

The Anabel & William Duet is a complete box set containing both books following an American football player who falls for a Croatian au pair. Plus you get to read a brand new bonus epilogue!

I've got this book an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Lost & Found part review:

This story right here is a story I would wish for myself, but unfortunately I don't believe in miracles and hope so much.

William and Anabel were perfect! Their story was funny, happy, heartbreaking, gut twisting but overall so beautiful!

When I started reading this book I could already see myself in Anabel's shoes with it all. Being an au pair (which I'm hoping to become next year), to find a friend, taking care of kids and being in a family that accepts her to bumping into a hot guy. A lot of times I had to stop reading because I was jealous and envy of her, but that's my dumbass, haha. Otherwise I could understand every decision she made. To be honest it was wisely made. She doesn't have a lot of time in the States so why "bother" having a relationship with someone when in the end it will end?

This story taught me that even if you leave and want to discover who you are as a person, you will, but don't think it's gonna be all positive and rainbow. I don't mean this in a bad way, quite opposite! I'm never myself and am afraid of showing who I really am and I kind of can't wait to get away from my home and discover and find out who I am...but as Bel later said: People will expect the same girl that left to return with no change. They will expect you to have amazing memories and no change in personality. Which as many know is not happening like ever. I'm scared of doing the first step, but after Bel's story I need it! Even if I won't have her experience, I'm willing to sacrifice a part of myself to find myself.

I can't wait to read and finish Forever, but I think I need a little "envy/jealous" break from William & Anabel.

Forever part review:

I loved this *bonus* epilogue to William and Anabel's story. It was sweet, heartbreaking and perfect!

We've got a teeny tiny bit of Croatian thrown inside, which I loved so freaking much! I miss the language.

We got to see the "behind-the-scenes" of what a relationship with distance looks like and let me tell you it ain't easy!

Also Sienna and J.D. were a come again people and their love and how they manifested was amazing. I loved them being together before and now they're just that much cuter!

It’s like a domino effect. After all the time of neatly putting the pieces together, one wrong move, one moment of distraction, and all of it comes falling down. The same happens to us. While ignoring all those moments that happened, all the situations we wanted to do something, make a move and let our impulses take over, we put them neatly one behind the other, and now it all comes crashing down around us.

I groan loudly and take her lips. With the first touch, I can feel her sharp intake of air, but after a few seconds, Anabel relaxes into me and I feel her lips responding. She opens her mouth for me, and my tongue slides into her hot, wet mouth. Her hands are in my hair, pulling the soft strands, and my arms squeeze her butt, trying to get a stronger hold on her, but also feeling her soft flesh in my hands. I’m losing myself in her, but I don’t care because she feels so perfect in my arms.

Once again, Anna has written an absolute heartfelt masterpiece! 😊
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, Anna B. Doe is hands down one of my top favourite, must-read authors. She can do no wrong! 😊 She writes with such heart and originality and never fails to dazzle her devoted fans, such as myself. She always has just the right amount of angsty emotion that wrenches every feeling inside you, blended with heart-warming, swoon-worthy romantic chemistry. You feel invested in the story unfolding before you, from the first page of the book, to the last. I couldn’t put the book down!
Anna manages time and time again, to easily achieve and surpass all the incredibly high expectations she consistently sets. Every novel is better than her last! I always have to reread my favourite parts of her novels just so I can experience all the feels again. So fantastic! 👌🏻😩❤️
Main characters, Anabel and William were so deep, and perfect together. Every moment between them was absolutely breathtaking and I couldn’t have hoped for more than was delivered! Of course, I had expected nothing less from an Anna B. Doe couple. 😊 I won’t go into detail about them so as not to let any spoilers slip but let me say this: William and Anabel just may be my new favourite Doe couple. I mean, hello?! A lovely Croatian au pair, a hunky American football player, and a whole lotta romance and feels?! How can you not adore their story?
At this point it goes without being said, this is definitely a five star read! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Such an absolute masterpiece! ❤️

This might not be the best book of the author, but I loved it nevertherless!

Firstly, I have to say that the fact that I read it as "one book" rather than an actual duet 100% influences my review. I feel that if I were talking about two completely different books, my opinion might not be the same. However, I loved the story. It was angsty and deep, and as a Balkan girl and an English major... relatable. The cultural differences and shocks work as a perfect device for humour and a means to further the plot.

Honestly, Annabel was perhaps one of the characters written by Ana that I saw myself most in; however, on occasions, I felt that something was missing? I don't know; I feel that I wanted to see her a little more. As far as William goes... emm.. there were instances in his pov that were a bit problematic. Specifically, misogynistic, such as phrases that refer to him "growing a vagina" because he was being soft... which I LOATHED! But i looked past this because it was the beginning of the story... and honestly, because I am a simp for Ana, I tried not to linger and gave this dude a chance. Honestly, after all this cockblocking and blue balling (which he obviously deserved), it was a good thing I stuck around!

Overall 4stars
________
Book number 1 Lost and Found -
3 stars
I enjoyed this little sports romance. Au Pair and a hot quarterback, sign me up.
William was literally the best book boyfriend, he has the status yet he is not cocky or self-absorbed. He is actually really sweet.
Anabel is completely down to earth and very believable. At time's I will admit, I wanted to shake her and tell her to get on with things. As a result, I found some of the scenes slower than I would have liked.
Overall I did enjoy this book.

Book number 2 Forever

Anabel and William are back! This book continues their relationship and their next steps. I loved their connection and their love is still very much alive. Even when there are a few surprises and difficulties thrown their way. It was great to see them back and a few of the other characters.
_________
Together I am giving these two books a 4-star review, as everything is tied together perfectly and it was like revisiting a few friends.

Thank you to Anna B Doe for a copy of this e-arc in exchange for an honest review.

Lost & Found

Anabel ‘Ana’ Majer is feeling lost after recently graduated. But when an opportunity rises in the forms of a job as au pair in The States, she accepts and travels from her small home town of Zagreb, Croatia in hopes of finding herself while there in New York. What she doesn’t expect (whilst there) is to get swept off her feet by the handsome stranger Will. But knowing her time there is limited how can she allow it? Or will it be too late?

William ‘Will’ Josh Price New York Knights quarterback has it all, except the one thing he really wants a Super Bowl Ring. Or least that’s what he thought until he meets Ana aka Tink, the nanny who stole his breath at first sight. But with all the mixed signals she keeps throwing his way, how can he get her to see they are meant to be? Not knowing he has limited to do so.

I don’t know why it took me so long to read this book, especially considering how much I truly enjoyed it. But I guess better late than never.
Once again Anna B. Doe came through with another book, this being the story of Ana and Will in Lost & Found the first within the New York Knights series.
It is truly a beautiful and heartwarming story of two people who are not only complete opposites, but are on opposite journeys too, only to find love when they least expected.
It honestly tugged on my heart strings watching Will and Ana journey throughout the story. Not only with finding themselves and trying to achieve what they want. But at the same time, figuring out how to juggle it all. Considering they are both falling for each other. But not knowing how to handle it.
Something we definitely see mostly in Ana's case, since she seems to think it can't happen, since her life in The States is temporary. And even with deciding to be friends is better off, that too is hard as well for her, since the feelings she has for Will are so much more and seem to grow continuously throughout.
As for Will, he knew from the get go what he felt for Ana. You could see he went from 0-100 in a snap of fingers with his feelings for Ana and wanting to be together, but had a hard time getting her to commit.
The journey they travel though a super slow burn, it showed and proved to them what they felt was real and could be something more. And with absence making the heart grow fonder, there definitely could be something real between them if they gave in.

This book had all the feels, since the helpless romantic in me couldn’t help but sigh and swoon at every other page. The way Will was with and around Ana, it just had me feeling all lovey dove-y. Given that the emotions and feelings surrounding them both just seemed to pour right off the page. Making you fall in love with them both, mostly Will!
At the same time there was so much angst and that from Ana alone, considering the constant hot and cold vibes and the push and pull she did of Will. It definitely frustrated me to no end at times. Given her attitude towards Will, despite everything he did or said to prove himself to her about how he truly felt. It was like what more did she want from him to prove it is worth taking a chance.
It made her seem selfish since it seemed like she was only thinking about herself and her own feelings. As opposed to taking Will's feelings into consideration too. Instead doubting his feelings based on his past and life without truly getting to know him before passing those judgements.
And not actually seeing just how hard Will was falling for her, with always going out of his way to try and spend time with her. Even if it meant as friends only.

With that said, I did enjoy Lost & Found. Anna definitely came through with the first part to Ana and Will’s journey.

Forever

Bel and Will are back in Forever, the final chapter to their story in the New York Knights series by Anna B. Doe.

The story continues off from Lost & Found, with Bel and Will having decided to give their relationship a go, despite knowing it will be anything but smooth sailing. Having to endure bumps along the way, with the uphill battle they will face with the long distance relationship they plan to maintain. Knowing that they will be separated by long periods of time and distance. Yet with how strongly they feel for each other, they’re willing to work for it. Knowing that in the end they will have their Forever!

Once again I enjoyed reading about Bel and Will again and the journey the travel within their story in Forever. Seeing how they always managed to overcome the obstacles that are placed in their path, leading to one another.
You could see, though the constant back and forth was causing a strain on them at times. I loved that they always made sure to forge onwards, willing to continue on fighting, no matter how much harder it got or became over time. Considering how sometimes they would be pulled away from each other unexpectedly, right when they think they finally have their own personal moment of time together.
Their love for one another and the fighting they did to get their HEA definitely proved Bel and Will were made for one another and truly loved each deeply.

My only issue was the trouble that occurs from some drama that arises, it just felt so random and out of the blue. Seeing the way it was put into the story. Honestly I felt that either it should’ve been built up to or just taken out completely. Just because it was thrown in and out within matter of minutes. Not really fitting into the story all that well IMO.

But other than that, overall I enjoyed reading Forever. And am glad I finally got the chance to read Bel and Will's story from the New York Knights series. Another job well done from Anna B. Doe!
I would recommend checking it out, especially if you have read any of Anna’s other books. She won’t disappoint!

I absolutely loved this duet. It was one of those stories that took me through time allowing me to experience every bit of Anabel and William’s emotional journey.

Anabel and William met during a time when neither of them were expecting to find the one that would change the course of their life. Anabel, who was in the U.S. for work knew her time was limited. William’s life was busy. As the quarterback for the New York Knights he was focused on his career, but after the chance encounter with the Croatian beauty William was determined to know more about her. However, Anabel was guarded. She was knew allowing herself to open her heart to the possibly of love would only end up in heartache. After all, why would the famous football player be interested in the low key girl who knew nothing about football?

This duet includes Books 1 and 3 of Anna B. Doe’s New York Knights Series. Both books are about Anabel and William. Anabel and William’s journey wasn’t an easy one. It was filled with a lot of angst, sacrifices and heartache. I loved William’s patience when it came to Anabel. He was willing to stop at nothing to prove to her he was all in. I also loved that this wasn’t one of those stories in which we saw the hero or heroin take the easy route and give up on their individual dreams in order to be together. It was truly a joy to witness Anabel’s growth and William’s dedication.

I am a fan of Anna B. Doe and her books. She always delivers these amazing stories with beautiful and diverse characters who are complexed but strong. Her stories always have a way of tugging at my heartstrings and making me feel part of the journey.

I don’t normally like sweet romance but I love Anna’s because hers have substance which I really enjoy. It’s a genuine romance with factual and genuine drama, not unnecessary drama just to have drama, and I think that’s why I enjoy her romances, because they are realistic and have depth.

This one felt like it was a different pace then what I’m used to from Anna but I enjoyed it. I think I saw somewhere that this story is based on real events or people,( I’ll need to clarify that because I could be wrong) so it made for an interesting read. A lot of the time I was wondering which parts were real and which were fiction but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I love the characters. The tension and chemistry between them was outstanding and tangible. There were times I felt like the pages might burst into flames from the tension alone. I loved the contrast between them also. Their dynamic was like watching magnets and then watching those magnets try to stay away from the other. I enjoyed it.
.
It’s been awhile since I have read an au pair or nanny book so I loved this one. The book as a whole was easy to read and a page turner. I consumed this in one sitting. It was nice to have a break from the dark and twisted with this read. The plot was easy to follow, the growth from the characters through the book was great and the romance was full on tension and had hints of being sweet, plenty of action and loveable characters. This was an awesome duet!

𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲: The Anabel & William Duet
𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀: New York Knights #1 & #3
𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿: Anna B. Doe
𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: ☆☆☆☆☆ 5/5

𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲: 𝘐 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘪𝘯 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘯 𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘣𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘸.

Let me start out by saying I absolutely LOVED this duet. I know that every author puts their heart and soul in every book, but it does not always happen that you can actually feel that passion. Reading this book I somehow could just feel how the author put her heart and soul into it. This duet consists of both books from the New York Knights Series that follows the story of Anabel and William plus a bonus epilogue! I absolutely devoured this duet and could barely stop reading. It was really easy to get connected to Anabel and William as characters and there were also a lot of fun side characters. I also like the originality of this story, since I just haven’t read a book like this. It is romantic, steamy and a lot of fun as well, the banter is amazing. The flow of the book was perfect as well, I felt that the author really took the time to develop a relationship between these characters and it made everything feel more authentic. I just loved this story and the characters so, if you are looking for a fun, steamy and romantic read with all the feels… this book is just perfect in my opinion!

If I read this book when I was younger than this I would give it 5 stars because Anabel's life is so perfect and William is so swoon-worthy... it is a girl's dream really. But since I read it now when I am older (and wiser... maybe) and I like the first part more than the second part, I decide to give it 4.5 stars because some plots are too romance ?!?... I don't know how to describe it but their feelings when they have a long-distance relationship, it seems too childish. The book is slow burn and has a mind sexy scenes (more in the second part though) Anyway, the story is entertaining with William trying to chase after Anabel, surprisingly emotional with Anabel's conflicted feeling, and quite sweet because William would do anything to make her his which makes me like him the most because he is so patient with her hot-and-cold behavior (- -') So be prepared for some angsts and long-distance drama! If you love reading a player falling in love with a sweet girl, I think this book is for you.

Lost and Found #Book 1

This book is a 3.2 Star read for me.
The story revolves around ANABEL and WILLIAM how they met by incident and have this instant connection but it's not that easy this book contains so much angsty and how Anabel keep William at an arms-length distance even when all she wanted was to be with him.

Anabel was a story, sassy and feisty character but also down to earth and it was interesting to watch how her life does a turns one-eighty when she moves to the states.

William was huge a football player, soft-hearted, Caring I love him so much. How he was sure of what he wanted but at the same time I don't like so much the back and forth thing Anabel keeps doing but I guess she had her reasons.

Forever #Book 2

I would give this book 4 stars.

I fall in love with the relationship ANABEL and WILLIAM has how they try to work their relationship even with the distance.

Anabel and William love story was heartwarming their love for each other and Also everything they went through.

4.5 stars. This was such a cute duet. I love when the big bruting football player gets knocked on his behind because of a girl. They think they are so strong and nothing can hold them down until the meet the one. I loved all the little things that William did to win over Anabel!

I did love their interaction and how much they couldn’t resist each other no matter how hard they tried. I also loved that Anabel is Croatian because like the author of this book I am Croatian as well so it was nice to see the
Heroine as from a different country and I am glad it was Croatia. Congrats on the duet Anna B. Doe. I think I am doing to read Sienna and JD’s story next they intrigued me so much! A must read if you like romance, longing, and a man that gets put in his place by his woman! Loved it!

Lost & Found:
This book is so good for a debut novel!!!😍 Bel is such a sweetheart. She is so caring and scared of getting herself hurt. She also went all the way across the world as an au pair and ends up taking care of the two best kids I've seen. Sienna would still be my fav tho. William is a hottie😍 he loves Bel so much and never gave up on her. He kept on pursuing her tho she pushed him away. I loved the push and pull between them😂 made their relationship much more fun. The ending left me wanting for more.
5 freaking stars♥♥✨

Forever:
I didn't know that I needed the twists in this book. But boy was it a perfect ending 😍 Abso-fucking-lutely *cue Emily shouting to wash my mouth with soap * 😂
The pain they went through due to the long distance made me sob. It was so emotional and also Si, I love her so much😂😂 and Bel grew so much and William loves her with all his heart and soul. Their wedding vows were so fucking perfect😍
The unplanned turn of events just was a cherry on top
5 full stars as always♥♥✨

The Anabel & William Duet

#1 Lost and Found
Anabel is an au pair from Croatia who is working for an American family. On a night out she meets William who is a star NFL quaterback, They have an instant connection and spend some time together when she gets cold feet and high tails it out of the night club.

William cannot stop thinking about her and by accident runs into her at the park with the kids she is looking after, The kids recognise him as a famous fooballer, Anabel has no clue about american footbal so she is unaware how famous he actually is.

This is defintely a slow burn romance book and at times I got so frustreated with Anabel how she kept going hot & cold with William (but I can see where she is coming from).

This is a well written, cute sports romance story and cannot wait to read the continuation of their story.

#2 Forever
The second part in Will & Bell's love story. This was the ending that I wanted to read.

This conclusion shows that true love will conquer all. Their long distance relationship had sacrifice, hurt, love and a bond that couldn't be broken.

If you're looking for a sweet sports romance then this series is for you.

I was provided an ARC of this book via the author, but I ended up purchasing a copy on release day. I really enjoy Anna's books and there is no better way to support authors you like than by purchasing their books. All opinions expressed are my own.

This is a bind up of books 1 and 3 in the New York Knights series. These books were originally released as Lost & Found: Anabel & William #1 and Forever: Anabel & William #2 in 2017 and 2018 respectively. If you don't want spoilers for what happens in book 2 read that before finishing up book 3, but you can read book 3 without having read book 2 as it follows a different couple. This duet tells the story of Anabel, a young woman from Croatia who is trying to find herself. She has just completed college and like most twenty-somethings isn't sure what to do next. When a job opportunity as an au pair in the United States presents itself, she decides to take it. This gives her the chance to travel a bit and decide what comes next. What she didn't expect was William Price to crash into her word and shake up her plans. She didn't come to the US to find love, and because she is only there for a year she isn't interested in a relationship. Will isn't going to give up that easily and he is willing to wait for Anabel to come to her senses and give him a chance.

I'll admit it took me a long time to warm up to Anabel. She was very stubborn and inflexible for a good part of the first book with regards to her relationship with Will. She slowly came around though and we watch her go through an emotional transformation. Will on the other hand is super patient with her an willing to wait while she figures out what she wants. He likes that she doesn't care about his fame, status, or money. Because it takes Anabel so long to figure out her own feelings, this is a very slow burn romance and the pacing of the story a little on the slow side for me. It does pick up toward the end of Lost & Found and the pacing of Forever is much faster. By the time I got to the 2nd book I was completely invested in the couple and where their relationship was headed. In the 2nd book we get a taste of what it is like to be in a long distance relationship and how much stress that puts on a relationship. This has great side characters as well.

Overall, I enjoyed exploring this title from Anna's backlist. This is a solid slow burn romance and I'm looking forward to reading book 2 and exploring JD and Sienna's characters. They were great side characters, but I'd like to get to know more about their backstories and delve a little deeper into who they are.

Lost & Found;

After getting her English degree Anabel doesn't know what to do with her life, so when her best friend calls with a job she takes it. So Anabel moves to the states to become an au pair. Or basically a live in nanny.

William is a NFL quarterback and is surprised when Anabel doesn't know who he is when they meet. Doesn't stop him from wanting her though. Too bad Ana doesn't seem too into it.

William is the perfect guy in this book. He's a jock, but he's sweet when it matters and the way he is with Ana is beyond special. He's patient with her, and gives her space when she needs it, even if he doesn't. He's super sweet and totally into her at all times. Even when she's pushing him away.

To be honest Ana is not my favorite female character by any means. Most times I didn't even get her motives, as they are. I can sort of understand them, but they seem counterintuitive to me. I'm not saying she's bad female character, just very indecisive, difficult, and even a bit childish in her thoughts sometimes. I get it, it's the way she thought things would be, but not too smart in the long run.

William does not give up on what he wants though, and what he wants is Anabel. I don't know if I've ever read a more determined male character when it comes to getting the girl, other than William and that made me love him all the more. Another good part to this book is Ana's American best friend Sienna. She's a trip and a half and I have a little girl crush on her.

***************************
Remember there's a book (Sienna's book) between these two, so if you read the third without the second there may be spoilers for hers. Just a friendly warning. If that doesn't bother you then by all means....... proceed.

Forever;

After book one, Lost & Found, and book two, Until, I was hoping for a wedding in the final book. With things the way they are though, Anabel's school, writing and new internship will it even come to be?

The romanticism and sweetness of William in this book is so, so amazing and I'm glad that Bel has that in her life. Not saying even in the end their journey was rough. Things happen and there are surprises that come up that threaten what they have.

I loved the ending of their story. It's sweet, romantic, and heartwarming, but like I said it wasn't an easy trip there. It was completely worth it in the end though.

Anabel Majer lives in Croatia, but she’s taking a nanny job in the States for year to gain some more life experience. Quiet and bookish, the last thing Anabel expected was to befriend supermodel Sienna Roberts, and be thrust into her glamorous world. It is through Sienna that Anabel meets William Price, a famous football player. As soon as Anabel and William meet, sparks fly, but Anabel is afraid. She knows her time in the USA is limited... so she won’t even entertain even the possibility of something more.

Star quarterback William Price wasn’t expected to meet anyone that night his best friend J.D. drags him to a club, but the second he crashes into Anabel Majer - literally - he’s enchanted by her. As a foreigner, Anabel doesn’t recognize him as a famous person, and she is not swayed by his fame, money, or good looks. She’s like a breath of fresh air, and he’s never wanted anyone the way he wants her. Anabel continuously pushes him away, but William won’t let that deter him. He’s in this for the long run... now all that’s left is to convince Anabel that he’s here to stay.

Doe is a wonderful storyteller. I saw a lot of myself in Anabel, in her mannerisms and emotions and dreams. I loved her character development over the course of the duet. William gives me hope for “real life” men. He was famous and attractive, yes, but also kind and caring. I loved that he never gave up on Anabel, no matter how hard she tried to push him away. Kudos to Doe for writing such a heart wrenching and incredibly moving romance. I definitely recommend this duet!

I received a copy of this book from the author, and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is an amazing duet which is a true masterpiece from this talented author. This is Anabel and Williams story and what an epic journey their romance story takes us on!
#1 Lost & Found
This is the 1st part of this thrilling duet and is Anabel and William’s story. Anabel is facing an uncertain future in Croatia, and when she is given the chance of a job as an au pair in the US, she jumps at it. William is the star quarterback who is solely focused on achieving a super bowl winning title. These two are drawn to each other but Anabel knows that her time in the US is limited, and she fights her feeling. This is a well written story which is heartfelt, and with emotions, and love, and this story pulls at the heartstrings throughout.
#2 Forever
This is the 2nd part of this exciting duet and William and Anabel decide to take a chance on their relationship and give their love a chance. When Anabel returns to Croatia, she misses William fiercely, and a long-distance relationship is difficult under any circumstances, and especially when there are challenges to overcome along the way. How will Anabel and William survive a year apart? This is a well written story which is heartwarming, and filled with surprises, emotions, drama, and love, which all leads to a heartfelt and all-consuming page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend for all readers.

Once again Anna have delivered a emotional and heartfelt masterpiece. I am so in love with William and Anabel . I am someone who gets very emotionally invested in the stories as well as the characters I am reading . Not always , I definitely have to feel a connection to them .I found myself quickly handing my heart over to these two . William is the star quarterback for a football team , and Anabel is working as a Croatian Au Pair . Anabel and William have such a beautiful connection , it is very strong , deep and emotional. Every single moment of this story was breathtaking, there were so many times I had to stop reading ( only because I was feeling so many things at once. One moment my heart was breaking , the next I was rooting them on . This is one of those books that you never want end . I don’t want to say to much as it would definitely spoil this fabulous book . There are many choices and obstacles that get in Anabel and Williams way of happiness . One being when Anabel goes back to Croatia . This is something that really make Ana evaluate her feelings for William , and Vice versa . Anna is such a wonderful author , she not only is a queen when it. Comes to angsty heartfelt stories . But she writes every single story from the heart . She is truly one of my very favorite favorite authors . Every single time I pick up one of her Books , I always know it will be exceptional.

A wonderful duet! I really enjoyed both books.

Book One:

I have read and enjoyed the Blairwood University series, and I am so glad I'm trying Anna B. Doe's backlist of books.

Anabel is a recent college graduate who becomes a nanny for pro-football quarterback William. There's a strong connection between them but Anabel wasn't falling in love and she only has a limited time in the US.

It was nice getting to see their relationship develop and how they worked through the obstacles in their relationship. They were both likeable characters and their story did a great job drawing me in and holding my attention.

Thank you to the author for providing an ARC for an honest review.

Book Two:

It was really fun to come back to these characters and to get more of their story. You definitely want to read Lost & Found first before diving into this one.

Since I enjoyed the first story and Anabel and William so much I was looking forward to how they'd get their HEA here. Anna B. Doe did not disappoint! It's always intro to see a story play out when the characters are already in a relationship together. The story moved at a nice pace and you can see the growth they have made over the duet.

Thank you to the author for providing an ARC for an honest review.

First of all I am totally in love with this beautiful cover! I can’t wait to have it on my shelf! I really couldn’t wait to read the story of Anabel & William. When I read what the story was about I was sold. I just love any kind of sports romances so I just needed to read it!

Even though it’s a book Anna wrote a few years ago and her writing is of course different than now I just loved it.

I really loved the story of Anabel and William. He is a well known football player and she is a Croatian girl who went to the US as an au pair for a year. They both live on different continents but how life is you never know where you found love. William is totally swoon worthy and you will fall in love with him so fast! Although I wasn’t the biggest fan of Anabel in the first part of this duet because of how she dealt with her doubts I really liked her in the second part. They are just perfect for each other!

You should definitely read the story of Anabel & William!

This duet was perfect because it added both stories for Anabel and William together and no one wants to miss the second part of their story in Forever! Anabel and William's story was a slow burn and man did it make me burn. Anabel and William were honestly the perfect couple and yet they put me to the test! William was all in, Anabel was guarding her heart. I enjoyed this book. I don't think I've ever read anything like it and I loved the characters and their chemistry. Not just the chemistry between Anabel and William, but Anabel and Sienna and her host family. The second part of their story was honestly my favourite! It was touching, heartwarming and so perfect. I loved getting to see more of this couple and although there were tough times for the both of them, they fought through it together and I loved how they worked as a unit! You could feel their love for each other coming off the pages and it was just so sweet and beautiful. A truly wonderful duet!

This is an insta connection sports romance. I didn’t know what to expect but I fell in love with wills persistence to show Anabel how much he wanted her. When Ana comes to America to be an au pair she doesn’t expect to literary fall for a famous and attractive quarterback. The more I read the more I wanted them together. The continuous push and pull broke my heart because I could feel how much they both cared about each other but there was time restriction. This book was an emotional rollercoaster that I welcomed. I loved how will kept fighting for their love even though there were so many obstacles. The book is split into two and I loved because I just wanted to keep reading about them. I recommend having a box of tissues but I love an emotional read. I look forward reading more from this series because the ending had me craving more.

I received an arc to give an honest opinion.

“I should probably get a medal for all the self-control I’m showing,”

He wants a medal because of having self-control since Anabel decided about not wanting to have sex?? Bro it’s the bare minimum. It Def did not felt right when she said “No” and william asked her why would she be a virgin since she’s “hot”??? I Only see great reviews and honestly I’m now really considering that we didn’t read the same book, Wiliam is that side character ex who we all hate since he thinks he’s everything, again this ain’t it.

This was a well-written, beautiful, slow burn romance that I loved. A beautiful, young au pair meets a famous sports star. They are from two different worlds, could they possible make things work? This is a sweet, slow burn dripping with angst. Annabel is sweet and genuine but afraid to take that leap. William is so charming and swoon-worthy. The perfect book boyfriend. This is a great contemporary romance. I highly recommend!

This duet from Anna was interesting.
Although it took me a while to get into it, I really enjoyed reading about Bel’s journey and her discovery of love.
The story is mostly sweet, sometimes sad and culminates in a thoroughly satisfying ending.
The secondary characters are absolutely stellar! Sienna, J.D., & Val are the kinds of friends you need in your corner.
While it’s not my favourite of Anna’s books, it was a nice change of pace from my normal reading preference.
