With You #2

Anywhere with You

Rate this book
They say opposites attract. For Jack and Amelie, that statement is about as close to the truth as it gets.

She runs from anything that so much smells like love. And, well, as for Jack, he's always been a fan of the chase. Especially where she's concerned.

Which is exactly what happens when he proposes... to accompany her on a cross-country road trip.

A bet is made. True to form, Jack puts everything on the table--while Amelie keeps her cards tucked close to her heart.

The question remaining when it all shakes out--is whether it's possible they can both win?

Will a road trip across the country finally teach them to meet in the middle? Or simply drive them further apart?

This is the continuation of a love story that (like many) was never really over.

Jack and Amelie meet each other again after a couple of years and once again Jack is ready to chase her. Amelie as usual is ready to run, but there's a lot going on in her life without Jack anyway. Her life has taken a downhill especially when she messes up something at her work and somehow she's now tangled in a mess that she won't get away from easily. Still, would she be ready to throw herself back into Jack's arms for the rest of her life? Will Jack be willing to wait for her, even though he knows that they want very different things from life? Will they ever get their HEA?

I thought about how badly I'd wanted it to work with her. I thought about how I'd always wanted ir to work out for us. Yet it never had- and inevitably, no matter how hard the two of us had tried- we never could get it right. I realized then that sometimes love is like that. It's unpredictable at best- and tough to swallow at worst.

Sometimes it's better to leave a standalone as a standalone. Not every success needs a sequel and I'm telling this with all my heart. I've read sequels from books that were supposed to be standalones at first. They can rarely work, but usually the second book doesn't come out as good as the first one. And maybe this one was good for some people, but for me it wasn't.

I had loved so much Somewhere With You, even though I also had some issues back then, still I ignored them, because I had really enjoyed it. This one made me feel disappointed almost right from the start.

The thing is when you wait for a sequel, you expect to see the couple along the way of their relationship -of course with some ups and downs, but still fighting for what they have etc. You don't expect to see the reunited couple from the ending of book1 , him running away from her without a notice at the beginning of book2!! I was so confused I had to run back to the ending of the first book and see if it had ended like that back then and I just couldn't remember that. Why are you ruining my happy ending, Mrs. King?

I also didn't like the fact that they were both people in their 30s and still acting like immature beings, who didn't know what they wanted. I didn't like that throughout the book we didn't see them working as a couple. In fact, I was just certain that they wouldn't have a HEA.

And why did I think that?

At some point, I didn't care whether they would end up together or not. And I would be okay with them finding their HEA in a different person, because the whole book didn't make me invest on them and I'm sad to say that, because I had really loved them in book1.

However, just because this was a miss for me, doesn't mean it will be for everyone. I do believe that some people can like this one, because it's not unicorns and rainbows and somehow reflects on real life and how sometimes timing is everything and love may need more than just a second chance. And because I'm a person who likes to give chances, I'm definitely going to read more by this author.

Review-Jo 2.5 - 3 stars

Having loved "Somewhere With You", I was excited to start this one. I couldn't wait to discover what had happened to Jack and Amelie. Now, this story didn't quite begin in the way that I had expected it to. I was almost certain that when I had left Jack and Amelie at the end of the previous book, they were finally a couple with a HEA firmly within their grasp, however this was no longer the case. The couple were apart yet again, and I was completely confused to what had happened between the pair.

So, the story wasn't what I had envisioned and I was feeling a little disappointed with the way it began to play out. Jack and Amelie's relationship continued to be all over the place. One minute they were just friends, the next minute they were having sex and confessing their feelings for one another and then they were going their seperate ways again. To say I was frustrated was an understatement. I also felt that Jack and Amelie had lost the chemistry that they had once shared. I was not a happy bunny! Lol.

Unfortunately I was also disheartened by the main characters. Amelie was no longer the easy going character that I had met in book one of this series. She was now depressed and unhappy most of the time and Jack was also living a life that was filled with little joy. He drove me a little crazy, to tell you the truth. It was obvious that he still loved Amelie with all of his heart but he was too fearful to go after what he truly wanted. Because Amalie and Jack both struggled with their feelings they both wasted a hell of a long time.

To be honest I was feeling so sad after reading this book. I wanted a swoony, romantic story and I was gutted that I didn't get that. The only time I became excited by Jack and Amelie's relationship was for the final few chapters and the epilogue. I hate to say it, but I felt as though this story was just one long tease.

"Anywhere With You" gets ❤️❤️.5 moving to ❤️❤️❤️ from me.

4.5 of 5 Hearts

This story is about second, third, and fourth chances we give to the one person we love more than anyone else. That one person that drives us mad and melts our heart all at the same time. That one person who we cannot live without even if we cannot live with them.

Brittany King wrote a story that was so raw and emotional that when the story ended I wanted to cry. This story was absolutely beautiful. It was full of life struggles and realistic situations that keep us from see what is right in front of us, whether we are scared or just not ready to admit the truth quite yet.

Sometimes the timing just isn’t right in life no matter how we try to spin it. We just cannot see past the current issue. What Brittany did to portray the struggles and setbacks life handed her two leads was absolute perfection in my book.

When we first start reading this story, Jack Harrison takes off running. He cannot seem to just stay with the woman who owns his heart. I seriously wanted to smack him on the back of the head. I was like you a** but then not too long after that I wanted to smack Amelie. Throughout this entire book, I swear to you I was babbling and growling at either Jack or Amelie. I think I growled at Amelie more than poor Jack.

But once this book ended I realized without all the heartache and miscommunication these two characters would not have had the beautiful ending that they did.

The very first line we hear from Jack owned my little heart. I just melted and understood him so much.

“HAVE YOU EVER held something so beautiful you wanted to hang onto it- and yet the same time, put it aside just for fear of using it up? I have.” Jack

Then the ending of the book, I just fell a little harder for Jack.

“You’re crazy,” I told her.
“You’re not the first person to tell me that.” She laughed.
And I fell more in love than I’d ever been in my life.
Or so I thought.

Then we have Amelie who struggles with a very real disease and does her very best to control it. She knows she has issues and it cause her to do things she normally would not. The way Brittany King showed Amelie struggles in trying to regulate and maintain her Bipolar Disorder was very well written if you ask me. I have a family member who struggles in life just like Amelie and I could picture them in Amelie’s shoes. Even when Amelie knew she should take her meds, she just didn’t do it.

It also showed just how much Jack understood Amelie and how much he really loved her. He knew when to push her and when to comfort her and tell her it would be okay. I will never forget their love story.

I have been a Britney King fan for a couple of years now. The characters she creates are so real and I just get lost in their world. I was beyond thrilled when I found out she was writing a sequel to Somewhere With You. I feel like I'm reading about my sister everytime the main female character was on the page. They lead very similar lives. It's not her or about her but she's my favorite because I love my sister with all my heart but she's in a different place right now and we don't talk often. Anyways. I don't want to give anything away but be sure to read this truly amazing love story.

“But you can’t stop a hurricane. You can only ride it out and then try to make sense of it all, once things calm again. And they will be beautiful again as soon as the storm has passed. They’ll likely be even better. Stronger. You’ll be more prepared the next go ‘round. And make no mistake there’ll be another. There always is.”

I had to start my review with this quote because Jack and Amelie are a hurricane that rip each other apart over and over. I honestly couldn’t wait for the continuation of Jack and Amelie’s story. I always believed in my heart these two were meant for each other and deserved an HEA. But just because that’s what I wanted doesn’t mean these two made it easy at all!

Jack and Amelie have always had a special bond. Jack has always been head over heals in love with Amelie. He has literally put his life on hold for her over and over and over. Jack has truly never moved on from his best friend and the love of his life. A lot of people might not believe in fate but I know in my heart these two were put into each other’s lives for a reason.

Amelie has a few issues but I still love her. Now there were a few times she pissed me off quite a bit and I wanted to smack her and tell her to wake up. Amelie has always been on the run. When things get to serious she bolts. Even though Amelie doesn’t see it her fate was sealed the day she met Jack. She has spent her whole life running from him but how much more can she possibly take before she pushes Jack away forever?

Britney’s writing is absolutely beautiful. She has a way of ripping your heart out to a point you feel like you will never recover but then … BAM she brings you right back up to your highest. This book is very emotional! At one point, I literally held my breath and crossed my fingers chanting please please please over and over. It wasn’t an easy love story but it was theirs and worth every single second to get there. Be ready because it’s not an easy ride it’s full of twists and turns and a lot of heartbreaking moments. But sometimes you have to push through the bad to make it to the good. Amazing job Ms. Britney!!

I honestly don’t know where to start with Anywhere With You. This book is beautifully written, and my emotions were all over the place. I found myself angry at times with not only Jack, but with Amelie too. Both made me laugh, cry, and I really wanted to scream at them. It takes a lot for a book to bring me to tears, and I don’t even know why this one did. Maybe it’s was from reading a certain letter or email and I just broke down. I couldn’t imagine being in their shoes and facing what all they have. I can’t see how two people that love each other so much, and always seem to find their way back to each other, continued to run from each other, or it wasn’t the right time.
Britney really had me worried throughout this entire read. I could feel my heart racing and I just kept thinking…no it cannot go this way! All I can say is, you have to read this book. You have to experience the long and bumpy journey with Jack and Amelie. They both will frustrate you to no end, but I swear it’s totally worth it. I know this book has touched me, and Britney did an outstanding job pulling me into Anywhere With You. I couldn’t stop once I started and I had to finish just to see how it ended. Through the tears and the frustrating parts, this is by far the best book Britney has written. I am so looking forward to what will come next and I highly recommend reading this book along with any other books by Britney.

I couldn’t wait to start this book! This is basically a continuation to the previous book Somewhere With You. I love Amelie and Jack! Their story made me think that their happily ever after was never to happen. This book put it all in prospective for me, and I loved it. We meet these two again and it has been a couple years, but for both an eternity wouldn’t matter.
Again Amelie and Jack both make mad, sad, happy, angry and nostalgic. Britney has such a way with words that she makes you feel everything. For a while I thought that she was going to leave me hanging again, but she didn’t and I love how this story wrapped up. I honestly didn’t know from one moment to the next if they were going to get their happy ever after, or if they were going to continue on the same old path. Lucky for me things worked out quite nicely, but if you want to know what happened, pick up your copy soon!! Make sure you get Somewhere With You first!

I loved everything about this book, from its title to its sweet romantic story! In this story two people who are completely opposite Jack and Amelia are strongly attracted to one another and eventually fall in love. Britney King is a fantastic author, and I've enjoyed every book I've read by her from her dark twisted romance to sweet romance. I can't wait to read more from Britney King!

Anywhere With You is the follow up to Somewhere With You. If you've read Somewhere With You, this is a MUST read. If you haven't read Somewhere With You yet, you'll want to read that one first so you have Jack and Amelie's entire story. Anywhere With You picks up right where Somewhere With You left off. There is no gap, I can't even tell you where one ended and the next one began and I read them back to back. Britney does that good of a job of continuing their story!

I do recall feeling happy with the way Somewhere With You left off and as I started Anywhere With You, I found myself a little ticked off. Jack and Amelie just seem to have the worst timing ever. It seems whenever one is ready to try the other isn't in a position to do so. Then when the other is ready, the opposite one is not. You can't help but feel sad for these two characters. They go through so much together...being engaged, unplanned pregnancies, death of a loved one, switching jobs, moving, etc.

Britney does an amazingly wonderful job of pulling at your heartstrings and breaking your heart over and over again. Just when you think you can't take it anymore, she puts it back together...only to break it again.

It would seem the stars just don't line up for Jack and Amelie. There is always something standing in the way of them being together. Will Jack and Amelie EVER be able to try and make it work at the same time? If they do, will they be able to make it last? Guess you'll have to read the book to find out! All I will say is I was extremely happy with the way things turned out for Jack and Amelie at the end, whatever that was!

Before I get into anything in this review, I want to say that I absolutely loved this first book. It was on of my favorite reads at that time... Britney is a wonderful author and writes some really great books. Unfortunately, this one isn't on the great list for me. Good, but not great.

The story as a whole is a good story. More back and forth between these two characters that I came to love. However, the characters in this book didn't feel like the characters in the first book.

We are moving forward in the relationship that is Jack and Amelie. It isn't a pretty road. I actually felt like these characters and the story itself went backwards. They both are more immature and unsure of themselves than before. Their connection isn't felt in this book. I really didn't like either of them in this story. They didn't jive with me.

I had a harder time keeping myself in the book. There was too much back and forth in this book. By now, I would have expected a more profound journey. I guess what I am saying is I didn't get what I had hoped for in this book. I wanted to feel something, but I didn't.

Although this book wasn't a book for me, that doesn't mean it isn't a book for someone else. I know many that will absolutely adore this book. It is a good book. It just isn't at the top of my list. Just know that I am saddened that it isn't at the top of my list.

First thing I want to say is this is a good book and Britney King is an amazing author. It just wasn't what I expected and like. I loved the first book and after what Jack and Amelie went through in it, I really expected more happiness in this second book. I had enough of the boomerang emotions in the first book. They're in love, they hate each other, he loves her, she hates him, she loves him, he hates her, etc etc etc. I guess there was just too much angst for me, especially after all the angst we got in the first book.

I'm not telling you this to make you not want to buy this book. It is a beautiful love story but it just was not my cup of tea. I just want you to be prepared that the happy ending you thought you were getting at the end of book one doesn't happen right away in book two.

Jack and Amelie have been best friends since childhood. After a passionate night of love making Jack decides that he needs to escape. He leaves Amile alone in an empty bed with out so much as a note.

Subject: You're an asshole
Jack, from here on out leave me alone. Life is better that way. Amelie...
Subject: Tell something I don't know...
Dear Amelie, I can't It's against my nature...

Years pass without them sharing any type of communication. When Jack runs into her at an airport all of the feelings that he has for her nearly suffocates him. So the epic chase begins. Every time they see each other Jack is ready to hold her near and Amile has her running shoes on,

... I was ready to acknowledge the greatest lesson Amelie, and our time together taught me-which was namely that sometimes in life, things don't work out quite the way you might have planned. But that doesn't make the experience of having lived them any less beautiful.

Are Jack and Amelie star crossed lovers? Or are they simply not meant to be?

When Amelie decides that she wants to stop running, circumstances make Jack flee. For years they remain friends as they try to find their HEA's with other people. And I was fine with that. Which is a sign that I was getting a little frustrated with the characters by this point. The cat and mouse game went on for so long that I was starting to think that maybe they were not meant to be together.

I didn't understand or agree with a lot of choices that the characters made. Which made it hard for me to connect with them. There are very few moments where I got to see them happy together. They would connect and spend time together but one of them was always feeling some sort of discontent.

I waited a few days before writing this review because I kept going back and forth on how I felt about it. On one hand I feel like the journey that Jack and Amelie took to get to their HEA is real. Life is not all rainbows and pots of gold. Sometimes it takes perseverance and sacrifice to get what you want. On the other hand I felt like their angst was fueled by their own choices. Which made the story drag on a little.

By the time that they did find their HEA I was not fully invested in the story anymore. However, I am happy with the way that the story ended. The conclusion left me with a smile and a light heart.

OK so my rating is 3.5-4 , I may be going hard on this sequel or maybe not ?? I loved their story , I loved book 1 with the childhood friendship and all the back and forth and angst. I mean it was annoying but in a good way. I never need an HEA but I did fall for Jack very easily and Amelie drove me bonkers , I mean even knowing what issues she has she still made me mad. Despite knowing what being bipolar , how being depressed and having anxiety can do to a family or person I just wanted her to make a lasting effort to be better. I felt Jack deserved that much AT LEAST.

Here we are in book 2 and right from the start we have Jack taking a page out of her book. OK I wasn't very bitter yet kind of wondered was he doing it to get her back or did he really feel the need to up and leave ?? After a couple years they are face to face again. Amelie is her normal self , which we know is not easy to deal with. She is so low key about everything in life besides her job. She is in a situation with her boss Ian and she is rather vague about their relationship. Once again her and Jack become so mixed up in each other that lives are sent spiraling out of control. It is impossible for Jack to move on completely and give himself to anyone due to his love for Amelie and when it comes to Amelie I honestly do not know where she stands. I feel that her condition prevents her from realizing the damage she does , prevents her from facing her feelings. Again, on and off meds is no good for her and I honestly hoped and prayed someone could get her to stay still long enough to become better for herself and finally give Jack what he wanted or let him go. As I said before I didn't need an HEA and by mid point I didn't want the one I always thought would be. Shockingly very late in the book we get another twist thrown at us and although in the end I love it and can be satisfied knowing it is finally the way it should be I wish we had more of that. I feel we got too much of the back and forth and not enough of the actual happiness. And I loved Jack too much for him to have suffered at the hands of yet another. I am shocked Jack wasn't the one in need of therapy and medicine. Poor Jack...

All in all I enjoyed the stories. I followed through and never once considered to stop reading. I just felt frustrated at the amount of trouble we still had to get through. Amelie was like a wild tropical storm or hurricane !! Hopefully she did finally find her happy place !!

What a book!!! This is my first ever book by Britney King and I fell in love with her writing instantly. It’s so poetic, so full of depth and vivid, that I felt like I was part of these story. I was brought to tears by her wonderful words more than once, but by the end I was left content and happy by this incredible love story.

Anywhere with You, follows Jack and Amelie and their whirlwind romance. When we’re first introduced to Jack we could see that he loves Amelie, but because of some unspoken events he needs to get away. Amelie feels the same about Jack, but she’s not the type of person who wants to settle down. She loves to take photos and travel the world doing what she adores comes always first. Their story spans over years, we get to see them at their highest and lowest moments, we get to see them realize that there is a type of love that’s worth fighting for.

I can’t say a lot about the plot, but I feel the need to say this is the type of story that will stay with you for a long time if not forever. It’s a love between two emotionally broken people, who don’t think they are worthy of it. Most of the book is them running away from a feeling that comes naturally, but when they finally get together is one for the record books. Seeing Jack and Amelie together was memorable – their interactions are full of chemistry, sensuality, but also a lot of ‘learning’. Together they discover who they want to be and what they want to do, and they come to the realization that a love like theirs isn’t easy to let go of.

I adored how the author incorporated Jack’s mother’s letters in this story. They were always there to give us an insight into why he’s so closed off to love, but were also enlightening for the character, and helped with his character development.

The writing was incredible. I was blown away by the author’s capacity to catch my attention from page one to finish. She didn’t need gimmicks to keep me entertained, no explicit sex scenes or a weak, virginal heroine – all she needed were her words, the vivid descriptions and two lovable, yet flawed characters with wanderlust in their blood, but who, in the end, only needed the adventures provided by one another to be happy.

OMG Sooooo let me just tell you….if you look over my reviews I don’t really read books without…..well……smut. I freely admit that I like my sexy books.

With that being said, there are exceptions to every rule. I guess if you can write like a boss you can get a pass because this book is FANtastic. Like seriously one of my top 2015 reads out of the 150+ I’ve read this year.

The story draws you in from the get go. And it’s not like it’s not hot….just not as graphic - and for me to love this book as much as I do is saying a lot about the writing of Britney King. Just so amazing!!!

Jack and Amelie have a wonderfully difficult and hatefully loving relationship. Yes. I realize that sounds like the opposite of good and healthy. But it’s the love/hate that makes the story so real. They truly are soul mates but making it work in any way besides the bedroom chemistry and the friendship is just too hard.

They are together for a brief time and then they aren’t. They go through other relationships and then they reappear back in each others lives. However, they don’t really leave each other because the friendship always stays. They talk and text and email all the time so they do keep in touch. It’s almost like they can’t be together but they can’t not be together either.

Amelie has issues. Medical and mental. She is ruled by her brain a lot and is “in her head” too much to be able to have a healthy relationship. Will she be able to mature in ways that will make her ready to be open and honest with Jack? She has to stop running and honestly, being a chicken, and come to terms with the long term. Will she find a place she can do this?

Jack will need to be ready for her because she will need patience and caring. Can he give her what he has a hard time managing himself? So much time and so much friendship….how will that turn out if a real relationship is formed?

The end result isn’t what’s important. It’s the road they take to get there. And what a road it was!!! Britney King you are one amazing Author!!!!! Hearts!!!!

Highly Recommend!!!!

Britney King has done it again. Just when you think she can not get any better, BOOM, she does. I was pulled into this book from the first page. I love the back and forth between the characters. They did not get what they wanted easily, they made mistakes....royally messed up their lives and everyone around them. They grew together but pushed each other away, each time further and further. What I loved most about this book was the unpredicatble outcomes. I was left with my mouth hanging open more than once and going...."you have to be kidding me." Amelie was strong, and scared, confident and insecure....she was like most women afraid to let go and ask for what she wanted either out of fear of being let down, or finding out in the end that she really did not know what she wanted let alone needed. Jack, sweet Jack. He is such a man at times I wanted to slap him. LOL. The ending had me choked up. This book, like all of Britney's works, are a journey. If you think she will short cut anything and make it easy you are so wrong....but the ending, the experience of her writing is worth the journey. Bravo BK....bravo!!!!

Oh this story drove me mad. I was telling my son about how the back and forth was driving me crazy and he asked why I was still reading it. The answer is so simple -- I needed to know what happened to the characters.

Amelie and Jack have been on and off again since they were very young. They refer to each other often as each other’s oldest friend, but they both want more and yet neither fights for the love they really desire.

Like others have reviewed, I was shocked that they weren’t immediately a couple and living their HEA like I wanted at the end of book one, BUT their journey to really find their status as a couple made the book worth reading. It wasn’t sappy and immediate, but it was amazing nonetheless.

Ms King did a wonderful job of making these characters individuals that I wanted the very best for and I so needed their love to work out. It’s a wonderful two book series and I think that everyone should read it!

I fell in love with Jack and Amelie in Somewhere with You. They are childhood friends who went to camp together after a loved one had died. We saw how their relationship blossomed over the years but timing was never on their side. At the end of Somewhere with You, Jack and Amelie got their act together and were in love and together.
The beginning of Anywhere with You, Ms King tore apart the couple. It was hard to read since we spent so much time wishing for them to get together. The rest of the book followed the two of them as they crossed paths. It was hard as a reader to see Jack and Amelie not together. But it was wonderful to watch them grow as people.
I did wish Amelie made Jack work harder. He pulled some serious a**hole moves that I’m not sure should have been forgiven.
The writing was good, but I wish we were left with them riding off into the sunset in book one. However, the epilogue was lovely.

Anywhere with you starts where book 1 (Somewhere with you) ends

This book made me feel so many emotions, angry, sad, happy.

I was pulled in from just the first few pages

Jack and Amelie go through so many ups and downs, it really was like a tug o war game...

They were childhood friends, that bump into each other years later..

They really grew as individuals while they were apart...

So this time around any relationship they could have will be a lot stronger ,, now they know who they are a individual ...

Jack was a prick at times and I'm not sure I would of let him off or even forgiven him for some of the shit he did to Amelie.. which was the only down fall to the book.. she should of made him work harder to for her forgiveness...

Anywhere with you is not your typical, Fall in love / Happy ever after love story.. It really is a bumpy ride for the couple and a long journey ...

I will definitely read more books by Britney in the Future ....

I reviewed an ARC for an honest review.
Anywhere with You picks up pretty much where Somewhere with You ends. Although this is the second book about Jack and Amelie, it can be read as a stand alone. This is written in duel POVs but it flows really well and doesn't take away from the story, in fact it enhances it. Jack and Amelie can never be at the same point in life that the other is at. There is a lot of back and forth, but we know that they love each other the fest they know how. I love that we get to read more letters from Jack's mom and they are perfectly timed with what Jack or Amelie need at the moment. I enjoyed reading Jack and Amelie's story even if at times I felt like they should either be together or walk away, they needed time to grow, find themselves so they could find each other. A beautifully written love story!

3.5-4 Stars

Can be read as a standalone (though , not recommended. Read On )

I liked the story. I really did. But I just kept feeling that I am missing something . All throughout the book, I was rooting for Jack and Amelie and it wasn't happening! Still, I felt something is amiss. ' Camp hope'? 'Oldest Friend?' ' He left her? When?' My fogginess wasn't cleared till I read The Author's note. '... After Somewhere With You....' I was speechless. I had asked for this book WITHOUT KNOWING IT WAS A SEQUEL!! Would've rated it 3 stars if not for my own misunderstanding.
The book overall is okay. Fast. I expected just a bit more, I guess. But NOW I NEED SOMEWHERE WITH YOU! ... just to understand AWY better. I want to know about their background stories, their friendship, love, hardships, WHAT Happened? WHY DID HE LEAVE?! ugh!

Wow!! Britney King has done it again. I have no words, well a few.....
First, you will not be disappointed with this book. It may not lead you down the path
that you think you are going, but you will love it. It is gut wrenching and warm all in
one book. It smacks of real life. And not only do you get to follow these two in all their
ups and downs in life, Mrs. King takes you on an amazing road trip. Her writing is so vivid
that you can actually picture yourself there. I love all of her books, but this one is special.
It is definitely not, the regular: find a man, get mad at man, man chases you, get back together
and live happily ever after. This book takes you on a roller coaster of emotions and real life.
Go, Go, Go and get this book, you will LOVE it.

I received advanced copy from United Indie Book Blog for my honest review. Love this book and always be thankful that no matter the hard long road that takes you where you supposed to be. That those lessons you learn make you a better person and that's how Jack and Amelie road had taken. I believe it also makes them stronger.

Britney does it again! Another book I couldn't put down. Anywhere with you had me so wrapped up and in the edge of my seat at all times. Just when you think you know how things will end you're thrown another curve ball. This book kept me in an emotional rollercoaster. It's not so much suspenseful in a thriller way but in an emotional way. I absolutely recommend you read it and the book before it called "Somewhere With You". You will not be disappointed!

Anywhere With You

I received this novel through an author's promotion. This is my review.
The saga continues, the mixed up love story that reminds me of my youth, the craziness of love. Travel the world with these fickle lovers and learn what love really is. Fast paced, well written, just as you think it's going well, the wheels abruptly veer off into the abyss. Love this story! Thank you Britney King!

I have never been a fan of the angsty back and forth type of relationships in books and I probably never will be. Britney has a way of making it easier to enjoy and not be annoyed with. Her characters, Jack and Amelie, draw you into their complicated love from the first page and keep hold of you until the last word. I am so glad that these two.fot a second book because i wad left wondering what would happen with them after SWY. I am a big fan of Britney's writing and this book does not disappoint.

I'm not sure what to say other than the second book about Jack and Amelie's story blew me away. How much heartache can a person take? It really touched me. Being at a point in my life where I've made serious changes and have been contemplating my life I could relate to both of the characters. It could be frustrating at times and I really wanted to yell at them and tell them to get it together and talk about your feelings already. In the end I guess good things come to those who wait.
