Award-winning author Elle James grew up as an air force military brat. She received her work ethic from her rock-solid father, her creative streak from her artistic mother and inspiration from her writing partner and sister, Delilah Devlin. As a former member of the army reserves and a current member of the air force reserves, she's traveled across the United States and to Germany, managed a full-time job, and raised three wonderful children. She and her husband have even tried their hands at ranching exotic birds (ostriches, emus and rheas) in the Texas hill country. Ask her, and she'll tell you what it's like to go toe-to-toe with an angry three-hundred-and-fifty-pound bird and live to tell about it!

Her adventures in the army and air force reserves, and the wild antics of her life on a small ranch in Texas give her fodder for mystery, suspense and humor in her writing. Elle writes gothic, paranormal mystery for the Harlequin Intrigue line and paranormal romantic comedy for Dorchester Publishing. A former manager of computer programming and project management professionals, Elle is happy she now has the opportunity to pursue her writing full time.

There was no baby in this book. There was no bling in this book. I was so disappointed. This kicked Decadent out of the #1 spot for Worst Book Ever. Let me sum it up: seekrit baby plot, and the baby is a secret until two pages to the end. And she's only something like four months along.

No baby! No bling! Why waste a perfectly trashy title on something with no baby and no bling?

This book was ok... I felt that I was missing sooo much background, however as it is the 3rd book and I haven't read the earlier ones that could definitely explain it.
Don't really think the title of the book really suits as the secret baby is still maybe 4 months along if that at the end and the only bling was the diamond necklace and ring right at the end

Meh. That's the best way to describe this.

I just don't care much for novels that are all the same. Work-driven, player, awesome-studly, (and naturally currently single) BILLIONAIRE falls for extra-sexy, amazingly perfect, never makes a mistake heroine. Because there are a *TON* of these people, in the real world.

And the title - Baby Bling? What is that?! There's no bling in the whole darn book - until he gives her jewelry on their wedding day... last page of the book. I don't know, but that made NO sense to me.

At least in this particular book, the bad guy isn't a super-mega ultra mastermind - and the bomb squad can just snip a wire and avert all danger. There was that. And the writing wasn't terrible (although note to Elle: an alternative to writing 'belly button' in the same paragraph four times would be the word 'navel'. Just sayin'.)

Meh. I didn't come away smiling. Or anything. But meh.

Not sure how to rate this book. It had some suspense that was fairly good, some romance, the main characters were interesting enough, and the book kept me engaged. However, there were some background details that needed fleshing out, such as the revolt in Rasnovia, Green's connections, and the identity of the mastermind villain. This is the third book in a four book series, so maybe some of that information was included in the earlier books or will be in the final book. Also, as mentioned by another reviewer, the title is just so poor. The only reference to 'baby...bling' occurs on the second last page and has very little to do with the story itself. Rating it 3 stars - an ok read.

I don't tend to like books like this with the whole crime aspect but overall it wasn't that bad, it just wasn't that great either. I couldn't believe that it ended how it did, that was bogus. I wanted to know who the rich man hiring people to kill other innocents was. You don't learn it in this book, it was such a let down. I don't understand why they wouldn't extend the novel and finish it off. What is the next book that actually covers this? Well if any of you people who are reading my review know, please message me or leave a comment, so I'm not left out.

Not bad. It had action and suspense and romance. And the secret baby. That's always a plus. This is part of a series, but stand alone enough so that I wasn't lost or bogged down in past details. A nice quick read that was pretty interesting.

I absolutely loved this book. It grabbed my attention on the first page and never let go. The characters are amazing and you get wrapped up in their story. You'll love Jackson and Ysabel's story. Trust me you don't want to miss out on this one!
